The first time seeing a city floating in the air, everyone was excited, and Cleveland knew exactly how they felt.
He shook his head with a smile, seemingly recalling the scene when he participated in the Talent Wizard Championship. He waved his hand and said, "Alright, folks, I won't hold you back. Go explore for a bit, just make sure to be at the central square before nightfall. I'll be waiting for you at a place called Old York Inn."
With that, he walked away, not worried at all that they wouldn't find it.
"By the way, make sure to wear your Silver Moon Guardian Badges. Don't forget; if anything goes wrong, don't come looking for me."
Cleveland walked a short distance before turning back to remind them.
Daniel didn't understand why he was so insistent but still pinned his Wizard Seed Badge to his chest. His Silver Moon Guardian Badge had been taken back after he received the Wizard Seed Badge.
Now, the highest-ranking badge he had was the Wizard Seed Badge.
After discussing among themselves, the group bid farewell and left. Daniel didn't stay with them but chose to walk alone.
Before long, he saw a sign similar to a road sign, but it displayed no map—only a crystal ball.
Daniel placed his hand on it, and instantly the entire map of Alvis City appeared in his mind, crystal clear. He could zoom in and out at will, with every street name, every shop name, who lived where, and what attractions were nearby all clearly displayed.
Daniel copied this map into his chip and began to wander according to its guidance.
This was his first time seeing a real wizard city; his life at the academy had limited his perspective, and he rarely encountered Formal Wizards.
Most of the people living in Alvis City were Formal Wizards, with only a small number being Wizard Apprentices.
Every wizard smiled at Daniel as he passed by, appearing friendly. At first, he didn't understand why until he saw the Wizard Seed Badge on his chest.
With the Talent Wizard Championship approaching, most of the Wizard Apprentices present were here to participate in the competition.
Although they were still Wizard Apprentices, even those with the lowest Mental Power had reached over 85 points; many had over 90 points. The only difference from Formal Wizards was that they hadn't consumed Green Water to advance.
The reason for this was simply to gain deeper accumulation so that after becoming Formal Wizards, they would have a better foundation.
These citizens are not talented; they are merely enduring hardships, barely reaching 80 points of Mental Power, and are eager to consume Green Water to advance to the rank of ordinary wizard.
When these citizens see him, it is as if they have encountered a Formal Wizard, one with a bright future. How could they be so proud as to regard him like an ordinary apprentice, looking down on them?
As a floating city, Alvis City is not just a single layer but presents a three-dimensional structure with more than one layer. There are ten layers open to ordinary wizards, and between each layer are transportation shafts that function like elevators. As long as one stands on them, they can move up or down at will, which is very convenient.
Daniel quickly arrived at the third underground level according to the instructions. This is where biological entities and slaves are sold. Countless people come and go, many accompanied by several exotic slaves, who come in all shapes and sizes. Therefore, the third underground level is built very spaciously, with a height of over ten meters.
Daniel knows that these are the natives captured by the Wizard Alliance in their conquest of other worlds. Although they are not as powerful as Formal Wizards, each possesses unique abilities, with some even comparable to Rule Wizards. Of course, such beings would not appear in the Slave Market.
The Slave Market is chaotic and fierce but not noisy. As soon as Daniel stepped inside, he noticed that there was a Magic Array in place that minimized the shouts of the slaves that should have been loud.
An ordinary-looking slave master wizard was calling out to sell slaves nearby. Behind him stood two ogres, each seven or eight meters tall with green skin, wielding whips and striking a group of large Otherworldly Captive Slaves who were howling loudly.
This group consists of beings five or six meters tall, resembling giant cockroaches with many soft scales on their chests. They are linked together by thick black chains and stand there in a daze.
A pair of compound eyes gazes at the passing human wizards, filled with hatred, anger, and fear. Yet, they allow the ogres to whip them without any resistance.
Daniel sighed softly; he understood that this group had already lost their capital for resistance—“courage.”
A person can be strong or weak, but as long as there is courage to resist, there is hope. If one has lost even their courage, how can they resist?
He was merely wandering around here; no slave master would have time to entertain a Wizard Apprentice because regardless of what kind of Wizard Apprentice it is, the number of Magic Stones they possess cannot compare to that of a Formal Wizard.
Whether talented or wealthy, without the accumulation of time, where would so many Magic Stones come from?
No one disturbed him; instead, it allowed him to broaden his horizons and see many species he had never encountered before.
Suddenly, Daniel saw someone auctioning off slaves. A group of wizards was gathered around enthusiastically bidding; it looked very lively.
Daniel went over to take a look and was surprised to find that they were auctioning off a group of beings resembling elves, which caught his attention.
These beings were not shackled like other slaves nor subjected to various humiliations; instead, they wore exquisite clothing and posed in various styles.
This was not due to the slave masters treating them well; rather, each of these slaves was a beauty with pointed ears, lively eyes, and fair skin—extremely beautiful.
So beautiful that even Daniel felt a sensation that no amount of extravagant words could describe.
Looking at the group of wizards below, each one with bright eyes, almost drooling, it was clear what they intended to do with the slaves they were eager to bid on. However, that was none of Daniel's concern.
Soon, this batch of slaves was eagerly snatched up by the enthusiastic wizards.
“Gentlemen and ladies, next we have the highlight of our auction, a Dragon King with the strength of a Second-Level Wizard, starting bid at 500,000 Magic Stones.”
As the announcement was made, a massive dragon was brought onto the stage, exuding an astonishing aura that caused a stir among the surrounding wizards.
Daniel looked at the dragon, salivating at the thought of it, wishing he could bet all his possessions to buy it. This was a powerful High Magic Creature with the strength of a Second-Level Wizard; having it by his side would eliminate any fear of being ambushed by others.
This also illustrated just how terrifying the Wizard Alliance's power was, as even a High Magic Creature with Second-Level Wizard strength could be auctioned off at such a regular Auction.
However, watching the prices soar higher and higher, he could only shake his head helplessly and prepare to leave.
The prices were rising too quickly, almost instantly breaking through the million mark. The amount of Magic Stones he had seemed considerable, but the possibility of buying the Dragon King was slim; it was better not to embarrass himself here.
