After waiting for the army to pass, Daniel finally arrived at the innermost part of Victory Gorge, standing quietly in the vast canyon.
At this moment, the surrounding seats were already filled with people.
Listening to their conversations, Daniel knew that the most exciting moment had arrived. The Rule Wizard responsible for this expedition to another realm from the Wizard Alliance would personally appear to lead them into battle.
Amidst a chorus of gasps, Daniel looked up and saw a storm rapidly approaching Sky City from the Wizarding World. In the blink of an eye, it reached above the gorge, and suddenly, dark clouds gathered, with fierce winds and torrential rain pouring down.
This must be the influence of Richard the Mentor. A Rule Wizard's mere unconscious actions could have such a significant impact.
If he were to land, fewer than half of those in the gorge would likely survive before him; he was simply too powerful.
If he were to take things seriously and turn the raging winds into blades of wind and the torrential rain into ice daggers, very few would make it to him.
Not to mention what would happen if he truly engaged in battle. No wonder the Wizard Alliance never allowed Rule Wizards to fight on the Wizarding Continent; it would be a disaster. Wherever they fought would turn into ruins. After just a few battles like this, the Wizarding World would have long become a wasteland—how could it develop?
The might of Rule Wizards was vividly displayed before Daniel for the first time. Without corresponding strength, even a large number of Third-Rank Wizards would struggle to inflict any harm on him.
"I am Eulalia. By order of the Alliance, I will lead you to attack Blood Crystal World, expanding territory for the Wizard Alliance and acquiring resources. We will turn Blood Crystal World into a territory of the Wizard Alliance, a source of slaves."
The bare language revealed the principles of the Wizard Alliance: survival of the fittest.
His appearance was not for an oath but to instill confidence in the legion. After all, this was a war of expedition to another world, and its brutality was beyond ordinary imagination.
With such a powerful Rule Wizard leading them, who feared defeat? Everyone was filled with confidence.
Once he finished his oath and the military parade concluded, Daniel thought it was over and prepared to leave. However, he was surprised to find that no one was leaving; it seemed they were waiting for something. He paused his movements and listened as they waited.
Suddenly, Daniel saw hundreds of spacecraft flying from a distance, landing at the end of Victory Gorge, as all the legions began to board.
These were not ordinary ships; they resembled the shape of a rugby ball, engraved with dense runes, capable of raising shields to protect the vessels in spatial turbulence.
Aside from the legions participating in the parade, others had already boarded the Vessels, waiting for the war to begin.
"Please open the Passage to Blood Crystal World, my lord."
Once everyone had boarded the ship, Eulalia said loudly, her voice filled with undeniable respect.
As soon as she finished speaking, a soft white light suddenly surged from the deepest part of Sky City. This white light was gentle as if it could disperse with the wind, yet it was incredibly resilient, lingering at the end of the gorge for a long time.
There was originally a massive gate-like structure there, intricately carved with countless patterns and textures, complex to the extreme and possessing a mysterious allure. Daniel glanced at it and nearly became entranced; it took him a moment to break free and he dared not look again.
When the white light dissipated, the gate had silently opened, forming a portal. As the gate opened, the spacecraft began to activate and flew inside.
Daniel's expression changed dramatically; he had no idea how this white light was formed and could not comprehend it.
This must be what allowed the Wizard Alliance to invade other worlds. The Seventh Level Spatial True Spirit Wizard was at work; it was precisely because the alliance had a seventh-level Spatial True Spirit Wizard stationed that they could freely invade other worlds.
Otherwise, while it was possible to invade other worlds through different means, the cost would be at least ten times greater, something even the alliance could not bear.
The presence of seventh and eighth-level True Spirit Wizards was also why the alliance continued to thrive.
Although he did not know exactly how many seventh and eighth-level Archmages there were in the alliance, he understood that among the worlds invaded by the Wizard Alliance, only a few possessed beings with comparable seventh or eighth-level strength.
No matter how powerful other worlds might be, what could they do? Once the Wizard Alliance got serious, they would still lack even the strength to resist. Below True Spirits, there was simply no way to counteract an invasion by True Spirit Wizards.
According to Daniel, there are indeed many worlds within the universe that have developed well and reached the limits of what they can sustain. However, when faced with wizards, these worlds still have no room for resistance.
Take the Storm Rule Wizard, for example. Despite leading millions of troops to invade another world, creating a grand and imposing scene, for the Wizarding World, this is merely a newly opened battlefield.
Every war involving an invasion of another world takes decades or even centuries.
The Wizard Alliance experiences such wars every few months to three or four years.
In some cases, when facing a medium-sized world with significant strength, the Wizard Alliance may even dispatch several or more than ten Rule Wizards to strike simultaneously.
At that point, the invading army can number in the hundreds of millions or even billions. Countless wizards swarm into the other realm, forcibly breaking through enemy defenses until the other world ultimately submits to the rule of the Wizard Alliance.
For other worlds, once they are targeted by the Wizarding World, there is practically no chance of escape. Even if a world exhausts all its efforts to repel one, two, three, or four attacks from the Wizarding World, what difference does it make?
The Wizard Alliance can still send out even more powerful armies, possibly led by true spirit wizards themselves. The only options left for them are surrender or death.
After observing the parade, Daniel was also ready and rode his Ironclad Dragon to the Starry Sky Exploration Station, located in a corner of Sky City.
As Daniel traveled further away, he noticed that wizards became increasingly scarce until he finally stopped in front of a three-story metal building surrounded by low houses. It appeared very ordinary, making him almost doubt whether this was truly one of the important locations of the Wizard Alliance—the Space Exploration Station.
Releasing his Ironclad Dragon to return on its own, Daniel stepped into the Space Exploration Station. At that moment, two statues at the entrance suddenly raised their spears horizontally to block his entry.
The one on the left spoke up, "This is the Space Exploration Station. Unauthorized personnel are strictly prohibited from entering. Anyone who dares to take another step forward will die."
Seeing this, Daniel quickly took out the token given to him by Richard the Mentor and said, "Gentlemen, I am here to report as a Space Explorer—Daniel Harris. This is my token; please take a look."
The statues shot two beams of white light from their eyes and scanned Daniel up and down. After focusing on the token in his hand for a moment, one of them coldly stated, "Scan passed. Please enter."
Daniel raised his leg and walked to the door, hesitating. Once he left, he didn't know when he would return. Natalie and Elisa were such wonderful women; it was a pity that he was still a virgin.
Reirfu and Albert, all the connections he had built in the Wizarding Continent, he didn't know if they would be of any use in the future.
The most regrettable thing was his family. He had only returned home once, and now he had to leave his hometown again. He didn't know when he would come back. By then, his parents would have aged, and when he returned, everything would have changed. He wondered if he could still find the memories of the past.
After hesitating for a while, Daniel raised his hand and looked at Heidewei, which was clutching a waist pouch in its claws. It contained his thoughts about his family and friends. Some items were meant for his family, while others were for Natalie. He hoped they would have a better life in the future.
It might be better not to meet again; perhaps it was best to inform them of his departure through letters.
Daniel released Heidewei and walked inside, surprised to find that the Space Exploration Station had no decorations—just an empty large room.
In the center was a massive Magic Array, occupying most of the area of the Space Exploration Station.
In the innermost corner sat a wizard in a meditative posture, completely still. Daniel approached respectfully and bowed, saying, "Sir, I am this time's Space Explorer, Daniel Harris. I kindly ask you to activate the Teleportation Array to send me for space exploration."
Only then did the other party open their eyes and look up and down at Daniel. "Very good, you are quite impressive. I hear you are a disciple of Basaromu. What made you decide to sign up for space exploration?"
Daniel was startled. Who exactly was this person? Basaromu was his ancestor, a Fifth Level Rule Wizard, known as the Master of Elements. The way this person spoke made it seem like they were familiar with him. Could it be that this individual was also a Rule Wizard?
Facing a Rule Wizard for the first time made Daniel extremely excited, leaving him momentarily unsure of how to respond. Fortunately, the other party merely asked casually without expecting an answer from Daniel. "You are familiar with the rules for space exploration, right? No need for me to explain them again."
"Yes, I'm familiar; please proceed."
Those who could participate in space exploration were all elites of the Wizard Alliance, possessing extensive knowledge. Just like Daniel, although he was currently only a First-Level Wizard, he had obtained knowledge about entering the ranks of a Third-Rank Wizard from his mentor. This knowledge formed the foundation of the prosperity of the Wizarding World.
To prevent leaks, the Wizard Alliance would seal off memories related to being a Space Explorer, ensuring that only they could access this part of their memory. If someone were caught trying to extract this information, that part of their memory would be destroyed, preventing others from obtaining any useful information.
Since realizing that the other party might be a Rule Wizard, Daniel felt relieved and allowed him to seal part of his memory. The other party then pointed to the center of the Magic Array and said, "Alright, you can go now."
"Thank you, my lord."
Daniel walked to the center of the Magic Array. Just as he was about to activate it, he suddenly remembered something and shouted, "My lord, please wait a moment."
"What is it now? My time is precious, and I don't want to waste it here."
"Please rest assured, this will be quick."
Before he could finish his sentence, a figure suddenly appeared behind him, embracing him and gradually merging into his body.
"You have quite a few tricks up your sleeve; you even know Fate Studies' Fate's Favoring Grand Spell. Unfortunately, this is for ultra-long-distance spatial transmission. It's hard to say whether Fate's Favoring Grand Spell will have any effect."
Daniel smiled faintly. "Having it is better than not having it."
The other party nodded slightly and smiled kindly, acknowledging Daniel's magic. With a flash of light, Daniel disappeared from his original spot.
