In short, players below level 40 are all fledgling newbies. The officials provided special protections for this reason; hence monsters lower than player levels do not actively attack. Additionally, the team's experience is evenly distributed. Although the experience from monsters is shared, it significantly increases the speed of leveling up. For example, if one person has to kill five wolves for a quest, as long as teammates are within 15 meters on the same map, the whole team only needs to kill five. This means there are effectively five additional players helping to defeat monsters, which highlights the benefits of teamwork.
