Regarding Trade Runs, Lufeng is also well-known, and Qiao Zhiguang is a merchant from Luoyang. Trade Runs have become a stable way for many Sky Dragon Players to make money, and Asking Heaven is still a virtual character that has entered the game world based on the Heavenly Dragon version. As such, players who have experienced Heavenly Dragon have a significant advantage, and Trade Runs are not much different, generally divided into two runs.
The first run: Players earn capital like normal Trade Runs. Typically, Trade Runs players prefer to buy food, ensuring they don't have leftover tickets. If there are excess tickets, they might buy some vegetables or paper to sell in Luoyang (if they can sell at 11+j, it’s enough to buy 25 peonies back, the more they earn). It’s important not to wait for price adjustments here; it’s not worth it. Carry a bag of peonies back to Gang City to sell. When selling, be cautious (waiting for price adjustments here is also not worth it). Sell while monitoring the Commercial Bill (*/15); do not exceed 15j, as going over means you can't buy anything. Sell and buy items simultaneously; this way, you can buy a bag of food (27 items; if you can't buy 27, it's advisable to wait for price adjustments since selling food is how you make money). After buying, having a higher balance on the Commercial Bill is better; if you can have (11+j) remaining, it will save time in the next round. Alright! Carry a bag of food to Luoyang.
The second run: Carry a bag of 27 food items to Luoyang. If the Commercial Bill has 11+j (enough to buy a bag of peonies), then go directly to the warehouse and store all the food in the Luoyang warehouse. Then run to the Luoyang merchant to buy a bag of peonies and quickly return to the Luoyang warehouse (be careful not to get caught by the police). Store the peonies and take out the food to sell 27 items at the Luoyang merchant (wait for price adjustments; aim for at least 2j or more). Selling 27*2=54j has further details explained below. Then return to the warehouse to take out all peonies and rush back to your gang to sell them (if prices are too low, wait for price adjustments; sell for over 1j). Adding it up: Peonies 27j + Food 54j = 81j. This way, when turning in tickets, you will have 9j in hand. After two runs, my time was 20 minutes; those with acceleration skills can be even faster. Three times an hour at *9 gives you 27j. Not bad, right? ^_^ Details: When buying food for the second time from your gang, it’s best if food prices are high; generally speaking, aim for over 70y (because higher-priced food sells for higher prices and yields greater profits). You can take one food item priced at 60y and another at 70y to sell at the Luoyang merchant; they won’t sell at the same price—70y will yield higher profits. This way, when selling in Luoyang, prices can easily exceed 2.2j. Peonies can vary; if you encounter one priced at 32y, click quickly as prices are about to adjust. My best experience in Lufeng was turning in tickets for my gang at 98j (which shocked everyone saying Lufeng was like livestock—-!). Then Lufeng took 11j, buying food priced at 70y and selling it for around 2.6j (this is based on vague memories), while peonies were bought at 35j and sold for 1.8j (also based on vague memories). In summary, ensure your bags are large enough and your warehouse is cleared out for easy access; pricing varies significantly depending on Gang City locations.
Many Sky Dragon Players do not know how to run Trade Runs or how to complete a ticket in the fastest way possible. Asking Heaven makes entering this virtual world feel very real but also makes it harder to grasp the overall situation. Today I will share some experienced players' insights on Trade Runs:
1. A brief overview of Trade Runs:
Players involved in Trade Runs must be level ≥40 and have joined a gang; players act as officials or merchants within their Gang (merchants apply themselves or follow management orders). Trade Runs undoubtedly bring substantial funds—not only for gang construction but also significant income for individuals. Establishing trade routes is fundamental for Trade Runs; only when two players' Gang territories have established trade routes can they undertake commercial tasks. Currently, each Gang can have up to four trade routes. Essentially, Trade Runs involve buying low and selling high. Players familiar with Ghostly Beauty should know that Trade Runs in Heavenly Dragon III are similar: buy at the lowest price and sell at the highest price—especially when aiming to fill up the Commercial Bill during one or two ticket turns; this way, profits from selling will far exceed the limits of the Commercial Bill.
2. The task flow of Trade Runs:
To accept tasks, we must first enter Gang City and approach the Treasurer (148,56) where money is exchanged (the NPC located at "金" on the map) to accept tasks; this NPC will automatically issue silver notes. When purchasing items from merchants’ shops, there are many options available with varying purchase prices displayed over different time periods—remember to buy high and sell high (if you have a perfect Trade Route, items in your gang's merchant association will typically show prices like 2g83 or 2g36; don’t hesitate to buy them immediately). If you’re on an imperfect Trade Route with fewer items available in your gang's merchant association, observe once and see when prices peak before making your purchase decisively). Open your gang interface and check trade routes; ideally find several other Gangs located six scenes away from your city—if your chosen Gang has fewer than six cities available, make two round trips instead. Upon reaching your destination, watch for prices and sell high.
Here’s a general product price refresh table:
Yin Si Shen Hai Tung Oil: 36 Vegetables: 51 Food: 94 Lamb: 1j73y Honey: 1j89y Iron: 69y
Zi Mao Wu You Tung Oil: 40 Vegetables: 62 Food: 49 Lamb: 73y Honey: 98y Iron: 54y
Chou Chen Wei Wu Tung Oil: 46 Vegetables: 40 Food: 71 Lamb: 1j7y Honey: 1j42y Iron: 61y
Ultimately, what matters most in Trade Runs is learning flexibility; don’t be rigid. If upon arrival you find that refreshed prices differ significantly from resale prices with little profit margin, check when Refresh Time occurs next—if time permits, wait; if not feasible, sell directly without changing destinations—saving time is crucial! As you approach full tickets near completion time, aim for ticket pressure—the closer you get to silver note limits before finalizing sales means bigger returns when returning home with gold and silver aplenty!
Let me give you an example:
Join your gang in Liaoxi, purchase all the lamb in the gang, and sell everything at the highest price on the grassland Trade Route. Buy honey, go to Luoyang, and sell everything at the highest price. Purchase flowers and sell them back on the grassland at the highest price, then buy honey again and return to Luoyang to sell. Generally, this will fill your inventory, but if you're not solely focused on filling it up, you can return for a second round of selling and buy honey again to make a significant profit.
Here are a few routes for you:
1. Traditional Route: Erhai-Yan Nan, Yan Nan-West Lake, Erhai-West Lake
Features: Short filling time (6 time units, which is 15 minutes); requires few backpack slots (85 or more only needs single-digit slots); running method is relatively easy to master. However, time is tight; if you are at Emei Star Constellation, it is difficult to fill within 15 minutes; there is no room for improvement; even with Tianshan's speed boost, it can only be filled in 15 minutes; goods are relatively scarce and buying can easily lead to conflicts since everyone is purchasing food.
2. Small Profit Route (not easy to master)
Eight rewards of 【Cotton Fabric Fragment】 one (can be combined with the level 60 “Heavenly Craftsmanship” reward to create level 1 cotton cloth), one each of Martial Soul treasures 【Liuli Flame】 and 【Yuyao Pan】.
Features: Short filling time; room for improvement (for example, when running at Tianshan, you can reduce the time to the opposite Gang to 1.5 time units, allowing you to purchase goods priced as “medium” to improve efficiency); goods are not tight (as most purchasing times are staggered from peak times). However, you need to prepare more backpack slots (since you are buying “low” priced goods, the quantity will be larger); buying and selling are more frequent; running method is not easy to master.
3. Perfect Route
This Trade Route takes about 1.5 time units per trip without speed boosts, while it takes about 1 time unit with Tianshan's full speed boost.
Non-speed running method: Since each trip takes about 1.5 time units, you can buy “medium” priced goods in your gang, and when you reach the opposite Gang, the price will just be in the “high” middle range, allowing you to sell it. Then buy “low” priced goods back to your gang and wait until the price rises to “high” before selling. This cycle can fill your inventory within 6 time units or 15 minutes, matching the efficiency of the Golden Trade Route, with ample waiting time unlike the Golden Trade Route, which requires rushing.
Speed running method: Since each trip takes about 1 time unit, you can choose to purchase “medium” priced goods at both Gangs. This cycle can fill your inventory within 4 time units or 10 minutes, far exceeding the efficiency of the Golden Trade Route, making it the fastest filling route among all possible Trade Routes.
However, this Trade Route also has its drawbacks, the biggest being that it requires a considerable amount of backpack space. When purchasing goods from the Tung Oil series and the vegetable series, a full load requires 18 slots, which can be difficult for some players to achieve.
PS: 1. Everyone should clear their backpack before Trade Runs. Trade Runs are limited to the routes mentioned above; it's best to be flexible and find the route that suits you best. Pressing for votes can lead to big profits, while not pressing for votes saves time. The more you run, the more you'll naturally grasp the methods involved.
2. Be careful not to discard the Commercial Bill; additionally, discarding the Commercial Bill during Trade Runs will incur penalties.
