“Brother Li, someone is coming!” A skinny young man with dyed yellow hair said with a grin, “A box truck, a big fat sheep! There should be quite a bit of goods in it, right?”
“Oh? A box truck? A delivery truck?” A hulking and strong man, muscular and probably under thirty, dressed in spring sportswear, looked like someone who enjoyed exercising and had a good physique.
He took the binoculars and quickly nodded, “Interesting. After the earthquake, it’s surprising that they can still come from the direction of Pengcheng. They must have been stuck on National Highway 104 during the apocalypse and are only now getting through? Hmm, it’s a supermarket delivery truck. Could it be delivering to our town’s chain supermarket?”

The skinny guy enviously chuckled, “The Great Earthquake buried all the supermarkets, residential buildings, and shops. It’s not easy to find food now. Plus, there are still a lot of zombies! But now we have a supermarket truck coming; the boss will definitely reward Brother Li well! Maybe he’ll even give Brother Li a gun!”
“With your little tricks trying to show off in front of me? You just want some benefits, right? Once we get that supermarket truck, you can have your fill! The boss has dozens of people under him; he won’t care about these things!” Brother Li thought about the gun and felt a bit excited. He immediately nodded and scolded with a smile, “Go, call the others! Bring the brothers over here and set up a roadblock to force it to stop!”
The skinny guy hurried to a shop that hadn’t collapsed yet. In no time, more than ten people came out with stainless steel pipes and fire axes, shouting “Brother Li! Brother Li!”

Entering the town center, there was only one clear road; all other routes were blocked by collapsed buildings.
Due to various obstacles on the ground, Chen Letian drove slowly at about thirty kilometers per hour, similar to an electric vehicle.
Winding his way to the town center, Chen Letian suddenly slammed on the brakes and stopped.
"Boss, the front is blocked!" Chen Letian shouted.

Shen Yuan, sitting in the passenger seat, of course saw everything. Then he heard a series of piercing shouts:
"Robbery! Everyone, get out of the car! All of you, put your hands on your heads and stand to the side! Otherwise, we'll wipe you all out! Kill the men and keep the women for fun!"
Chen Letian whispered, "Boss, there are more than ten people blocking the way. Those bastards actually set up a roadblock! Hmm, they don't have any guns, just a bunch of broken stainless steel pipes and axes. They don't even have any mutations. Do they really dare to rob us? Are they tired of living?"
Encountering a robbery?
Shen Yuan frowned slightly.
Although he had used binoculars to roughly observe the situation from the Communication Tower, he could only see moving figures from a distance and couldn't tell if they were people or zombies, so he hadn't paid much attention.
He didn't expect that there would still be quite a few survivors in Zhangjia Town, and it seemed they had formed an organization and started gang robberies!
However, upon closer inspection, they appeared to be just ordinary people without guns or mutations; they were likely just the most common Evolvers, and it was even possible that they hadn't evolved much at all, making them quite weak.
But that wasn't certain.
Some evolutions are not apparent from the outside, like Wei Luhe, Wei Jiankang, Zhang Chenggong, and Wolf Head; they all looked like ordinary people. Especially Zhang Chenggong, who had the ability to manipulate ice.
If there were any ability users among this group of people, it would be troublesome!
“Chen Letian, don't get out of the car, just observe the situation!” Shen Yuan whispered, then picked up two Activated Semi-Automatic Pistols, keeping his hands down to avoid being seen by those outside.

He waved his hand, leading two others around to the back. He kicked the trunk twice and then said helplessly, “Brother Li! The door is locked from the inside! We can't open it!”
Brother Li replied, “So there are still people inside? They wouldn't be hiding a girl, would they?”
Skinny Guy eagerly responded, “A girl? That would be great! First, Brother Li can have his fun, then my brothers and I will join in! Hehe, a girl from the city must be better than those from our town, right? That silly daughter of Old Zhang has probably been ruined already!”
Brother Li nodded. “There aren't many women left alive; after the Great Earthquake, most of them died off. The few remaining are all pretty ordinary. Old Zhang's daughter is one of the better ones, though she's a bit foolish. Hopefully, we can find a real beauty this time; let the boss have his fun first, then it’ll be our turn!”
The group was chattering away, completely disregarding Shen Yuan and the others.
In reality, they could only see Shen Yuan and Chen Letian sitting in the driver's seat; they had no idea there were more people in the trunk and assumed there were only one or two girls inside.
In fact, there were more than just one or two girls, but they weren't the kind to be toyed with!
Seeing that Shen Yuan and Chen Letian still hadn't gotten out of the car, Skinny Guy began banging on the trunk with a Stainless Steel Pipe, shouting, “Brother Li, these bastards aren't getting out. Should we smash it?”

A dozen people began to surround the truck and smash it!
Some were hitting the cargo area, while others were smashing the driver's side window!

Several stainless steel pipes struck the Activated Glass and bounced back. The ones holding the pipes were also affected; they couldn't break the glass and ended up getting hurt instead. One of them lost grip of his pipe, causing it to recoil and injure his hand, leaving him with a painful arm.
One was even worse off; the stainless steel pipe bounced back and hit him right on the forehead. It was unclear how much force he used, but he ended up breaking his own forehead and blood flowed freely.
Shen Yuan took a closer look; the Activated Glass was completely fine, with only minor scratches that quickly healed due to its self-repairing ability.
