In the police car, several women felt a lingering fear.
Ling Jie was relatively calm; she was the first to open the car door and step out. She saw Shen Yuan sitting in the driver's seat, focused on something, hesitated for a moment, then walked up to Zhang Huanxue and expressed her gratitude.
"Ling Jie, there's no need to be so polite. Are you all planning to come with us? As you can see, it's very dangerous on this road, and we may not be able to protect you every time," Zhang Huanxue said with a smile.
Ling Jie nodded and replied, "Following you may be dangerous, but it's better than going back to Zhangjia Town. We don't want to live that kind of life anymore."

Wuwan Town relied on Wuwan Reservoir and could be considered a large town with around sixty to seventy thousand people. There were likely thousands of people on several streets in the town.
According to logic, Wuwan Town is larger than Zhangjia Town and farther from Pengcheng, so it should have been attacked by the Mutant Mouse later, and there should be more Survivors.
However, Shen Yuan did not see a single Survivor, nor even a single Zombie.
All the Zombies had been completely wiped out, not a single one left!
As night fell, Shen Yuan heard the sounds of wild beasts and did not dare to go out to scout. Instead, he found an intact courtyard to rest temporarily.
Chen Letian quickly started a fire to cook, claiming he was going to make Dongguan Roast Goose. This is a famous dish that is said to be delicious and expensive; Shen Yuan had never tried it.
Chi Qinghua made a metal box to keep three little geese inside. A cardboard box wouldn't work because the three little ones had fierce personalities, and a cardboard box couldn't hold them.

Thus, the names of the three little ones were decided!
Interestingly, the three little ones did not like eating vegetables; they preferred meat! Moreover, they looked down on dried meat and meatballs but loved Mutated Beast Meat!
No wonder they were born from Mutated White Geese; they were indeed different.
"Dang dang dang! Dongguan Roast Goose is ready!"
At eight-thirty in the evening, the three Dongguan Roast Geese were done, and everyone gathered to eat. With Shen Yuan's permission, Zhang Huanxue sent a large piece of roast goose, about ten pounds, to Ling Jie and Zhou Wen along with several other women.
The women were pleasantly surprised by this unexpected gift and expressed their gratitude, feeling thankful towards Shen Yuan and his group.
"The Apocalypse Food Ranking continues to update; Dongguan Roast Goose ranks second!" Chen Letian jumped onto the truck bed and announced loudly.
He originally wanted to be ranked first, but thinking that he should give face to Old Wei, he still let Wei Jiankang's medicinal cuisine take the top spot.
Although Wei Jiankang didn't care about this at all.
No one cared about it.
They took turns keeping watch until dawn.

Chen Letian operated the excavator, Wei Jiankang drove the bulldozer, and Shen Yuan personally took charge of driving the Box Truck. Fortunately, yesterday the second Cow Horn Knife had been completed; both knives were perfect, with smooth curves and a gleaming jade-like luster, appearing naturally flawless.
With dual knives in hand, Shen Yuan felt a sense of confidence that he could go anywhere in the world.
Chen Letian was bored and shouted while driving, claiming he was assessing everyone's combat power. He believed Shen Yuan had a combat power of 20 geese without firearms. Chen Letian himself had a combat power of 5 geese, Xu Lixing also had 5 geese, Wei Luhe had 2 geese, and A Hu had 5 geese.
As for Zhang Huanxue and Wei Jiankang, well, they have a combat power of 0.5 geese.
This guy actually treats goose combat power as a unit of measurement!
Two hours later, they arrived at Pengcheng Airport Interchange.
From a distance, with still two kilometers to go, Shen Yuan ordered everyone to stop the vehicles.
