Shen Yuan had already gotten used to sleeping here because there was no place safer than this.
Of course, the Box Truck was not in the yard but had driven into the Factory, adding an extra layer of protection.
As per the usual routine, the night watch was divided into shifts: Shen Yuan took the first half of the night, while Chen Letian and Xu Lixing took the second half.
During the first half of the night, Shen Yuan continued as usual, absorbing as much Source of Life as possible. Over the past few days, he had completely absorbed the Snake Scales from the Mutated Black-Browed Python, and now he began to absorb its fangs as well as the tusks of the Steel-Maned Black Pig.
A Hu's second tail had fully grown back, matching the length of the first tail. However, there were still no signs of a third tail growing; it was unclear whether it couldn't grow or if it just wasn't time yet.

At two o'clock in the early morning, Shen Yuan finished his shift and went to sleep while Chen Letian and Xu Lixing took over the night watch.
At that moment, a shadow had silently infiltrated the Suicheng Stone Carving Factory.
This was a very fast and agile person, their face covered with black cloth torn from somewhere, holding a Semi-Automatic Pistol in each hand.
He carefully observed the yard's stone statues without paying them any mind and quickly directed his gaze toward the only part of the Factory that hadn’t completely collapsed, revealing a mocking cold smile on his face.
"Heh heh, the boss is really bored. Why not just send a few people to take care of those guys? Why does he have to send me to scout first? A few outsiders—what kind of waves can they make? Just a few guns; under cover of darkness, we can take them out without anyone noticing and steal everything! The boss is just too cautious!"
After gathering information, the shadow prepared to leave.
However, at that moment, his gaze swept over to the statue of Xiang Yu on horseback with a gun and was immediately captivated.
"Eh? This statue looks really good; it looks just like real! What material is this? It seems like... marble?" The shadow inexplicably walked over and reached out to touch it.

Chen Letian got into the car to grab a bottle of Moutai and walked out of the Factory, seeing Xu Lixing standing motionless not far from the Xiang Yu Statue.
“Xu Lixing, are you dumb? What’s so interesting about that statue? Although it does look very lifelike, it's just a broken statue; it’s not some alluring beauty... What the hell?” Chen Letian was about to tease when his eyes suddenly narrowed.
What did he see?
A corpse lay beneath the Xiang Yu Statue, blood gushing from its body!
“Damn it, it can’t really be haunted, right? This Xiang Yu Statue seems... alive?” Chen Letian hurriedly stepped back several paces because he saw blood dripping from the marble spear. Did that person get killed by the Xiang Yu Statue?
