At this moment, Ziyan, already furious with a slightly distorted expression, directly poured the remaining half bottle of water from her right hand over the head of the 'Monster'.
But just as she was about to do it, Gu Yuxuan nimbly sidestepped, and the water splashed onto the ground instead.

After passing through a section of the Ancient Tree Forest, the two arrived at a large and wide Deep Pool ahead, which had three waterfalls on the left, middle, and right sides at a short distance from each other.
Ziyan, out of breath, stopped behind Gu Yuxuan, gasping for air.
Once she felt a bit more comfortable and looked around, she was instantly stunned by the scene before her.
What lay before her truly resembled a fairyland from an oil painting: the lightly green surface of the pool shimmered gently. The pool was divided in half; one side was purely covered with reeds swaying gently in the breeze. Countless Flying Birds flitted about in the Reed Thicket, some chasing and playing on the surface of the water while others stretched their necks to search for small fish and shrimp. Above the reeds, several cranes circled gracefully.
It was so beautiful! Ziyan kept repeating these three words in her heart.
She then shifted her gaze to the other end of the pool, where a breathtaking scene of a lotus pond unfolded: delicate buds ready to bloom were nestled among tender green Lotus Leaves, their reflections in the water creating the illusion of another beautiful lotus pond beneath the surface.
In the distance, deep within the river pool, three long waterfalls cascaded down, serving as the source of water for this Deep Pool. The water was separated from the Mountain Stream above.
Looking further to both sides, on the left side of the Deep Pool lay a Pebble Beach, dotted with pools of varying sizes, from which wisps of mist rose gently.
To the northeast was a cliff, and to the southeast stood an Ancient Tree Forest under the vast sky. This provided Flying Birds with another habitat besides the Reed Thicket.
In such a beautiful place, Ziyan couldn't bear to leave without lingering for a while.
Tilting her head back to look at Gu Yuxuan, she blinked and said, "Brother Yuxuan, this place is so beautiful that I don't want to leave. What should I do?"
In fact, ever since arriving at this Mountain Valley, Gu Yuxuan felt the same way. Although this place was not unfamiliar to him—he often came here—it still held a special charm.
He had practiced lightness skills here above the Lotus Leaves, reeds, and cliffs.
The shallow area on the left side of the Deep Pool contained several pools shaped like small basins, which were actually Natural Hot Springs of varying sizes. After every training session, Gu Yuxuan would soak in one of them.
"Come," Gu Yuxuan said as he set down his backpack and then helped Ziyan take off her backpack as well. He naturally took her hand and led her toward the hot springs.
Upon reaching the hot springs, Ziyan was so excited that she almost jumped in immediately. However, seeing Gu Yuxuan beside her made her hesitate to act recklessly.
"The water here is not just any hot spring; it can strengthen your body and heal injuries. For martial artists, it can also enhance internal energy. Would you like to give it a try?"
"Ah, me?" Ziyan hesitated, somewhat distracted. Gu Yuxuan, standing nearby, understood her hesitation. "How about this: you enjoy the hot spring here while I go practice some new moves I've learned over at the cliff. Don't worry! There are no wild beasts here, and certainly no bad people. Plus, it's only about an hour's journey back to Mountain Valley. We can make it home by evening. You can take your time and enjoy a good soak. I'll be off now; see you later."
With that, Gu Yuxuan turned and leaped away, disappearing from sight.
Ziyan still hesitated alone for a moment, when suddenly she heard Gu Yuxuan's voice from afar: "Don't worry! Little girl, if you like it here, big brother can bring you often. Enjoy your soak; it might even help with your height!"
Hearing his voice from the distant cliff finally put her mind at ease.
She couldn't help but curse inwardly: jerk, monster, birdman—how dare he call me short!
But looking again at the hot spring bubbling with countless bubbles, she remembered that since arriving in this Otherworld, she hadn't had a proper bath. She recalled how much she loved using aromatic oils to prepare baths back in the Twenty-First Century; it was relaxing and soothing.
With the vast Reed Marsh and Lotus Pond separating her from the cliff, what was there to worry about?
Thus, having made up her mind, Ziyan quickly stripped off all her outer garments and stepped into one of the deeper Hot Spring Pools, submerging herself in the warm water.
"So comfortable!"
At that moment, Ziyan couldn't help but marvel internally: soaking in the hot spring while enjoying such beautiful scenery seemed like a reward from heaven for the unfairness she faced in her previous life.
