Kairuot, Fairleya, and the boy who loved to stand up for others were called to the academic office. 0

In the academic office, Kairuot learned that the boy who had come to the rescue was named Feilbolai, the son of the Leader of the Fair Tribe. He ranked first in this examination. Additionally, Fairleya's scores were far ahead of Kairuot's. 0

In front of the academic office director, Fair Connie, Kairuot refused to admit his mistake. He acknowledged that he had touched Fairleya's chest, but insisted it was unintentional and not lewd. If Fairleya felt wronged, he suggested she could open her chest for him to touch in return... His reasoning was quite absurd. 0

Director Fair Connie was at a loss with Kairuot; she couldn't be angry or amused. She had been a longtime friend of Kairuot's father, Kairuoka, the leader of the Kairo Tribe. To ensure her friend's son could attend Mars Alliance School, she had gone through many efforts and negotiations to enroll Kairuot, who had mediocre scores. 0

Speaking of Kairuot's shortcomings—having grown up on Earth until he was 20 before returning to Mars—his scores were slightly higher than those of his two older brothers. However, his Cognitive Ability (equivalent to IQ on Earth) was quite average. Mars Alliance School, being the top institution on Mars, had never admitted a student with a Cognitive Ability of only 20. A 35-year-old typically wouldn't even reach a Cognitive Ability of 30, clearly placing him at an ordinary level. The school had evidently made an exception for Fair Connie and weighed various factors before reluctantly deciding to accept him as a student. 0

Director Fair Connie was the one who strongly advocated for Kairuot's admission into the school, yet little did she know that this young man would cause her significant trouble on his very first day. 0

Was this a manifestation of someone strong in body but weak in mind? Did those born on Earth inherently differ from those born on Mars? Fair Connie questioned herself repeatedly in her mind. She lamented her efforts only to receive such disappointing results from him. Since he seemed so focused on romantic pursuits, perhaps he wasn't fit to return to Mars and should have remained on Earth to marry and have children instead. Had they brought Kairuot back from Earth with such great effort only to cultivate him for Mars Alliance School? Was that truly wise? 0

Indeed, at 35 years old, Kairuot would have likely been a father on Earth and might even have grandchildren by now. However, things were different on Mars; Martians' age categories were determined by their Cognitive Ability development. 0

Generally speaking, Martians are categorized as follows: Childhood (1-29 years old) with a Cognitive Ability of 1-29; Adolescence (30-59 years old) with a Cognitive Ability of 30-59; Youth (60-199 years old) with a Cognitive Ability of 60-100—the youth being the most capable and seen as the hope for Mars' future; Middle Age (200-249 years old); and Elderly (250 years and above). Middle-aged Martians typically reach a Cognitive Ability of around 60, while elderly individuals experience some decline but maintain at least a Cognitive Ability of 40. 0

Therefore, Mars Alliance law stipulates that the legal marriage age for Martians is 90 years old. Although Martians' physical development is complete by age 20 and changes little with age thereafter, their Cognitive Ability remains low. They must undergo systematic learning and training before reaching 60 to fully develop their brain potential. Premature marriage and childbirth would hinder their Cognitive Ability development, life continuation, offspring propagation, and societal advancement on Mars. This is the greatest difference between Martians and Earthlings. 0

If we compare the requirements of the Martians, the highest cognitive ability of modern Earthlings can only reach about the cognitive ability of Martian toddlers. Earthlings are still in the early stages of realizing the potential development of human cognitive ability. When comparing Kairuot's cognitive ability with that of Earthlings, it is undoubtedly vastly superior. 0

The poor cognitive ability of people on Earth is a result of the long-term control exerted by the Martians over Earthlings. During testing, Kairuot's genetic condition showed no signs of mutation, which means his cognitive ability should not be this poor. Feir Connie was confident that through later scientific training, Kairuot's cognitive ability could be improved. 0

However, while Kairuot's poor cognitive ability could be accepted, his premature emergence of inappropriate thoughts and early romantic feelings was absolutely unacceptable to Feir Connie. 0

No matter how Kairuot tried to justify himself, it was futile. In addition to apologizing directly to Fairleya, this Dean of Academic Affairs also required him to write a deeply reflective written self-criticism. The school would take further action based on his performance according to school regulations. Having just entered the school, Kairuot quickly became the subject of ridicule due to his unsavory reputation at Mars Alliance School. 0
