The Golden Tower is a place very familiar to Kairuoka—he once spent many beautiful and memorable times here with Fair Connie, practicing together as a couple. Now, with people gone and the tower empty, memories flood back, leaving Kairuoka feeling a wave of melancholy. This prominent figure, a great hero of Mars, still cannot escape the manipulation of fate. On the surface, he is the leader of the Kairo Family, yet he has no freedom at all, not even the ability to make decisions about his own marriage.
Having grown up amidst people's praise, it is now disheartening for Kairuoka to have to practice secretly in the Golden Tower. This stark contrast makes him feel a deep sadness.
During his time training in the Golden Tower, Kairuoka recalls his days at Mars Alliance School.
With such complex feelings weighing on him, how could Kairuoka's skills possibly improve?
After spending some time training in the Golden Tower, Kairuoka's abilities have not progressed; instead, they have only increased his sorrow and longing for Fair Connie. This sorrow is something he cannot share with his wife, which gradually leads him to take solace in alcohol.
As the saying goes: "Drinking to drown sorrows only makes them worse." How could alcohol alleviate the pain in Kairuoka's heart? He drinks more and more in the Golden Tower, returning home only when he is completely drunk. Until one day, Kairuoka gets so intoxicated that he loses consciousness. In his haze, he feels someone holding him in bed; that breathing sounds very familiar, and that unique scent seems reminiscent. Thus, he unconsciously murmurs a name: "Fair Connie..."
This woman is indeed Fair Connie. Since she was released from house arrest by the Fair Tribe, she has become a teacher at Mars Alliance School at her father's request.
Now, aside from teaching every day, she practices in the Golden Tower and thinks of nothing else... She has become disillusioned and no longer cares about love or relationships in this world. As time passes, Kairuoka has faded from her heart. Until one day, when she notices his secret visits to the Golden Tower for training. When she pushes open the door and sees Kairuoka completely drunk, she cannot let go of her hidden feelings for him.
Two people who once loved each other naturally find themselves together that night.
Upon learning that Fair Connie is pregnant, Kairuoka's first thought is how to ensure the safety of both mother and child.
After careful consideration, he proposes sending them to Earth—
"Six years ago, after we defeated the invading Capricornian forces, we discovered that Mars was resource-poor and that our kind was experiencing a decline in Cognitive Ability. Therefore, we sent some of our kin with low Cognitive Ability to Earth," Kairuoka explains his plan to Fair Connie. "In this way, I have justifiable reasons to go to Earth for investigation and can also secure a home for you and our future child."
Fair Connie now considers the child in her womb more important than her own life, and naturally cannot bear the various risks of giving birth on Mars. She knows that her family and relatives will not let this child go.
Thus, regardless of the risks of going to Earth, this woman who is about to become a mother silently nodded in agreement with Kairuoka's plan.

After much persuasion, Kairuoka finally obtained his wife's consent to go to Earth.
However, when he proposed in the Kairo Tribe council hall to investigate the development of their low-brain kin on Earth and the details of Earth's resources, he faced opposition from some Elder: "This is a proposal that wastes manpower and resources; it is inappropriate for the leader to take part personally."
Kairuoka patiently explained: "This is just an investigation; I won't mobilize many people. I can go alone, so it won't be a waste of resources. Kairuoka's reasoning left the Elders with little room for rebuttal, but there was still debate over whether to send a warship. Initially, the Elders disagreed with Kairuoka going personally; they believed it was a major matter for a leader to go into battle and a minor matter to check on Earth. They thought it would suffice to send someone else, but no one was willing to take on such a time-consuming and laborious task. After several discussions, it was decided that Kairuoka would go while the leadership duties would continue under capable hands like Kai Ruo Yu Qi.

At first, Kai Ruo Yu Qi was very eager to accompany her husband to Earth, but Kairuoka disagreed for a simple reason: the Kairo Tribe could not do without her, and their two sons were still young and needed her care. Moreover, going to the wild land of Earth would involve much hardship and many unpredictable events that her delicate body could not endure.

Kai Ruo Yu Qi replied, "Don't deceive me. What will happen to her when you return?"

Kai Ruo Yu Qi told him, "Fair Connie."
Kairuoka was startled and fell silent.
Kai Ruo Yu Qi held Kairuoka's hand and said, "There’s no need for us to hide things from each other as husband and wife. If she isn't a girl from the Fair Tribe, I would definitely arrange for her to live here with me. I would build her a large guesthouse, and we could visit each other. Who knows, we might even become good sisters."
Kairuoka said, "I truly like her. If it weren't for our families' objections, we should have been family by now. For the sake of this love, I’m afraid I have to apologize to you..." As he spoke, Kairuoka embraced Kai Ruo Yu Qi.
