In order to blend in with the local Indigenous People, Kairuoka removed his Martian attire, smeared his skin with a layer of colorful oil, and wore only a pair of shorts. He adorned his head with a crown made of vine and inserted several wild chicken feathers. Although he wore shorts, he still wrapped a coarse cloth around his groin like the locals. From a distance, aside from their delicate and three-dimensional facial features, his appearance was quite similar to that of the local people.
However, when Kairuoka equipped himself with weapons, his appearance would distinguish him from any race on Earth. He strapped the dagger and Laser Pistol he brought from Mars to his waist and carried a specially designed bow-like machine gun—an Arrow Gun—on his back. These weapons were made from special materials on Mars. This outfit naturally caused the local Indigenous People to worship him as if he were a deity whenever they saw him.
Aside from making efforts to blend in physically, Kairuoka's primary task was to find a suitable place for Fair Connie to live and give birth. He quickly cleared the surrounding area but found that the open space was too small for the residence he envisioned. Kairuoka then decided to venture deeper into the dense forest to explore the surroundings and find a piece of land that met all evaluation criteria for building his Palace.
It is best to have a guide for such an expedition, so Kairuoka attempted to inquire among the Indigenous People. However, upon hearing that he wanted to enter the depths of the forest, none of the Earthlings dared to go. Judging by their expressions, it was clear that it was an extremely terrifying place… A group of people waved their hands at him in warning.
Kairuoka paid no heed to the Earthlings' advice; despite not finding a guide, he decided to set off immediately to take a look.
Entering the dense forest felt like stepping into a green maze. The forest was filled with muddy swamps, rushing streams, and cascading waterfalls. Towering trees intertwined with vines, while lush broad leaves and vibrant flowers competed for attention. The tropical rainforest landscape was far more complex than the Small Grove behind Mars Alliance School, with its diverse features.
Due to the low-lying wet swamps, ponds, rivers, and streams crisscrossing through this dense forest, the Indigenous People had to use their unique Canoe to navigate. This Canoe was made by hollowing out the trunk of a large tree and could hold no more than two people. Kairuoka declined the Indigenous People's kind offer to lend him their Canoe; after all, he possessed Lightness Skill.
Using Lightness Skill, Kairuoka walked along the riverbank in the dense forest, moving lightly as if skimming over water. As he continued on his way, a heavy rain suddenly fell. The raindrops fell like curtains, making it impossible for him to open his eyes. He had no choice but to take shelter under a broadleaf tree temporarily. Unbeknownst to him, right beneath him lay a gigantic crocodile waiting for him; fortunately, he reacted quickly and executed a Lightness Skill maneuver to escape swiftly.
He then jumped onto a massive tree surrounded by several people. The thick trunk was entwined with countless vines, and its dense leaves provided excellent cover from the rain. Just as he settled on a branch, he noticed a giant python slithering out of a tree hole. The python raised its head high and eyed Kairuoka menacingly as if it intended to swallow him whole. He feigned an attack before quickly fleeing.
Everywhere in this dense forest posed dangers. The weather here changed rapidly; just moments ago it had been pouring rain, and in an instant, it turned clear with bright blue skies.
Kairuoka chose to walk along the river without seeking shelter from the rain and finally discovered a large, flat open space, guided by the chirping of birds.
This was the most suitable place Kairuoka had seen so far, but as soon as he set foot there, a large group of new Indigenous People appeared before him. Their attire and tattoos were different from those he had encountered earlier, indicating that this was a new tribe. They were numerous, armed with primitive bows and arrows and Spears, shouting in a language he could not understand.
Kairuoka attempted to communicate with them in their language, just as he had before, but they naturally could not understand him.
Moreover, due to Kairuoka's appearance resembling that of the Indigenous People, they quickly became wary and stepped back a few paces before launching a volley of arrows at him.
Kairuoka immediately activated his internal energy, and after a wave of energy passed, the arrows shot at him fell harmlessly to the ground before him, surprising the group of Indigenous People.
Still trying to communicate, Kairuoka noticed that the leader of the Indigenous People was gesturing for him to come over.
Unaware of their intentions, Kairuoka calmly walked over and suddenly fell into a trap that the Indigenous People had prepared. Fortunately, he had a Protective Shield that prevented him from being harmed by the bamboo arrows below.
As soon as Kairuoka fell into the trap, many Indigenous People rushed to the edge of the pit with their Spears, poking at him in a frenzy, believing they would surely kill him. They then parted to allow their leader to come check it out. Unexpectedly, Kairuoka suddenly burst out, capturing the leader and sealing his pressure points.
With their leader captured, the surrounding Indigenous People, armed with Spears, surrounded Kairuoka, unsure of what to do.
Kairuoka shouted loudly: "Quickly disperse! I am a Martian!"
Still, no one understood his words. Feeling helpless and angry, Kairuoka released the leader's pressure points and leaped out of the encirclement.
