The prosperity of the Cancun Kingdom has attracted the attention of neighboring city-states, and the nobles have set their sights on this prime piece of land, frequently launching invasion wars against the Cancun Kingdom.
In fact, these are internal conflicts among the nobles, who share close familial ties with the Cancun King. Their ancestors were once part of the same family, but now, in their quest for power and wealth, to seize more slaves and resources, they have become crazed and ruthless demons.
Duss—Pilas was the largest city-state at that time and also the largest kingdom, serving as the political and cultural center of the region. With the strengthening of national power, King Kante's ambitions began to swell; he was no longer satisfied with his existing territory and sought continuous expansion. He had set his sights on Cancun City-State as a strategic crossroads among various city-states, recognizing its geographical advantages. Occupying it would mean controlling a vital area for his kingdom's development, facilitating faster growth. Therefore, despite being cousins with Kanma'sh, King Kante brazenly launched an invasion against the Cancun Kingdom.
The powerful Pilas army advanced like a tidal wave, defeating the Cancun forces who fled in disarray. The Pilas troops pressed against the walls of Cancun Palace, a sea of soldiers brandishing weapons shouted in unison: "Kanma'sh! Come out!! Kanma'sh! Surrender!!"
The deafening roar seemed to shake the very foundations of Cancun Palace. If all the forces of the Cancun Kingdom charged out at that moment, it would be akin to an ant trying to stop a chariot—a lamb waiting to be slaughtered. They could only shoot arrows from atop the walls to slow down the enemy's advance while awaiting reinforcements. The reinforcements they longed for were Kairuoka.
At a critical moment when the Pilas army was about to breach the gates, Kairuoka's Command Ship arrived just in time—transforming into a massive robot. With its enormous arms, it swept away the attacking Pilas soldiers as if clearing fallen leaves, sending them back into their ranks.
The Pilas soldiers were bewildered by this suddenly appearing giant robot, unsure where this monster had come from that was aiding the Cancun Kingdom. Just as they were on the verge of breaching Cancun Palace's gates, their efforts were thwarted by this Giant Robot.
Although the Giant Robot did not harm anyone, the Pilas soldiers still felt immense fear.
At that moment, a leader among the soldiers raised his bronze sword and called out to his men: "Don't be afraid of it! All archers prepare!... Fire!"
Immediately, countless arrows rained down upon the Giant Robot. The sound of arrows striking its body resembled heavy rain hitting bamboo tubes—"thud, thud..."—but had no effect on the Giant Robot.
Seeing this situation unfold, the leader swung his bronze sword again and shouted almost hysterically: "Spear team, forward! Charge at it! Stab that monster!! Kill it!!"
The soldiers immediately spread out to create a wide path. The last row of soldiers brandished exceptionally long Spears and charged toward the Giant Robot in formation. No matter how fierce these soldiers were or how sharp their Spears might be, they proved utterly ineffective against the Giant Robot. The Giant Robot simply wrapped its arms around all nearby Spears in one swift motion, disrupting their attack formation and causing chaos among the Spear team.
The leader still wanted to wave his bronze sword to command the army to continue the attack, but he was gently pinched by the Giant Robot with two fingers and lifted into the air. No matter how much the leader struggled, he could not break free.
At that moment, the Giant Robot spoke, surprisingly able to speak the local language: "You are all brothers from the same root; why must you harm each other?"
The leader shouted desperately from the air, "This is an internal matter of our family; it's none of your business!"
The Giant Robot replied, "I have come in the name of the divine to stop this war."
Upon hearing that a deity had descended, all the soldiers present knelt down and began to pray.
Kairuoka, inside the Giant Robot, took the opportunity to amplify his voice and said to everyone, "In the name of the divine, I urge you all: immediately cease this war and stop harming the innocent! Soldiers, warriors, lay down your weapons, return to your fields, go home and take good care of your wives and children, manage your lands well, and live a good life."
When the soldiers heard about returning to their fields, they were all overjoyed. They expressed their immense gratitude to the deity and willingly set down their weapons, losing their will to fight. The once mighty army of tens of thousands suddenly scattered, leaving only the leader and a few dozen soldiers.
The Giant Robot gently set the leader down and said, "You may go; it is your duty to manage your kingdom well."
The dejected leader led his few dozen soldiers back to Dus-Pilas Kingdom. However, Kairuoka made a grave mistake. In this era of survival of the fittest on Earth, with the disbandment of Dus-Pilas Kingdom's army, how would they defend themselves? They were soon attacked by enemies from nearby Tomaridito City. Their palace was quickly breached, and the king along with his family suffered a massacre that wiped them out completely. The once most prosperous kingdom fell due to Kairuoka's thoughtless words, leaving him feeling deeply unsettled.
