Actually, the suggestion that Fairleya made to Kairuot was not solely her own research, but rather guidance and arrangements from a wise person, who is Fair Connie.
Yesterday, Fairleya returned from the Golden Tower and, without even going back to her student dormitory, hurried directly to Fair Connie's residence. She recited the superior internal cultivation techniques from the Martial Arts Manual on the wall of the Training Room to Fair Connie, ensuring that no one had tampered with it and that it was indeed genuine internal cultivation methods. After confirming this, she said, "You can safely practice this internal cultivation technique."
Fairleya asked in confusion, "Is there really a fake Martial Arts Manual on the wall of the Training Room?"
Fair Connie sighed and replied, "Don't be fooled by Kairuot's impressive Lightness Skill and seemingly good martial arts; in reality, he is all show and no substance, presenting a facade while suffering internally. His condition is not something that an ordinary person can detect."
Fairleya was puzzled and said, "Kairuot seems fine to me; I don't see any illness."
Fair Connie continued, "His condition stems from practicing internal cultivation incorrectly in the Golden Tower. This is not his fault; someone deliberately tampered with the Martial Arts Manual on the wall, setting a trap for him to fall into."
Fairleya expressed her indignation, saying, "That person is too insidious to have such intentions!"
Fair Connie shook her head and said, "This person is very cautious. They secretly manipulated the Martial Arts Manual on the screen. After Kairuot fell for it, they quietly corrected it back without anyone noticing. Only someone as careless as Kairuot would be deceived."
"Who could have such great ability?" Fairleya asked.
"I have my suspicions about who it is, but I haven't confirmed it completely," Fair Connie replied. She continued, "Fortunately, we discovered Kairuot's incorrect practice in time. It’s not too late to take measures to remedy the situation. If he continues practicing like this, he will end up ruined. Whether his condition can be treated depends on your help."
Thus, Fair Connie taught her a method that would serve two purposes.
After the two finished their training that day, they arrived at Fair Connie's home. Upon entering, they discovered that Fair Connie had already prepared dinner.
Kairuot looked at the table full of delicious dishes and was extremely delighted. His favorite fried chicken was right in front of him. He forgot to wash his hands and instinctively reached out to grab the fried sparrow on the table, only to be stopped by Fair Connie: "You're doing it again. Go wash your hands."
Kairuot happily agreed and ran to the sink to wash his hands.
Fairleya looked at the dishes on the table; many of them were not available on Mars. She had gotten used to Fair Connie's cooking and enjoyed the Earth dishes she made. She also noticed the fried chicken and excitedly said, "Godmother's fried chicken is the best; I really like it."
Fair Connie smiled and said, "If you like it, then eat more."
"Save me some fried chicken," Kairuot said, fearing it would be gone. "I like it too."
Fair Connie replied, "Look how anxious you are; we're all waiting for you."
Everyone sat down to start eating, but Kairuot was not used to using a spoon; he was accustomed to chopsticks. He had to run back to the kitchen to get some chopsticks. Fair Connie called out to him, saying, "Is it really necessary for you to run around just to get a pair of chopsticks?"
With a gentle wave of her hand, Fair Connie summoned the chopsticks from the kitchen as if retrieving them from afar. The two little ones couldn't believe their eyes. Fairleya exclaimed in amazement, "Godmother, your skills are incredible!"
Kairuot asked in surprise, "What kind of skill is that?"
"This is called retrieving items from afar," Fair Connie explained. "Do you want to learn?"
The two answered almost simultaneously, "We want to learn."
"If you have time, I will teach you in the Golden Tower," Fair Connie said. "You must persist in your internal cultivation every day; super strong internal skills cannot be achieved overnight. You both need to maintain your practice over the long term."
The two nodded in agreement. The three of them eating together felt like a family, and soon the dishes on the table were cleared completely.
