On this day, Fair City was particularly lively because the son of Minister Fair Tribe, Fair Henry, who is also the cousin of Feilbolai, was holding a grand wedding in the city. 0

The entire city felt like it was celebrating a festival. The streets through which the wedding procession passed were adorned with colorful flags, and flowers and trees were decorated with strings of various colored lights and ribbons. Four flying vehicles hovered above the street, displaying large festive greetings. 0

At ten o'clock in the morning, the wedding began. Leading the way were dozens of ancient mechas from an unknown era, slowly moving forward with a band seated on them. Under the conductor's gestures, they played cheerful wedding marches. Among them was a particularly ornate wedding ship, where the handsome groom wore an exquisite suit and the beautiful bride donned a pure white wedding dress. They sat atop the ship, and as the grand procession passed by, crowds lining the streets cheered joyfully. 0

The wedding ship arrived at the square in front of Fair City's iconic building, Fair Dasha. Guided by their best man and maid of honor, the newlyweds slowly descended from the ship and stepped onto the red carpet that had been laid out in advance, entering the magnificent Fair Building. The banquet hall where the wedding ceremony was held was brilliantly lit and filled with a festive atmosphere. The nobles had already gathered there, all smiling and greeting each other warmly. As mayor, Feir Yous was naturally responsible for officiating the wedding for this couple; he stood straight at the center with a beaming smile. 0

Fairleya did not initially want to attend this wedding but reluctantly followed her mother, Alice, to the venue after her parents insisted repeatedly and she couldn't find a reason to refuse. Today, Fairleya had no intention of dressing up; she casually wore a long-neglected bright red dress that had been sitting in her closet for a long time. Her long hair was not styled into an elaborate updo as usual but simply braided into a bow, allowing her hair to cascade down to her waist. A large red flower ornament complemented the golden hair bow, making her look youthful and vibrant. In the banquet hall, her appearance was striking. Many people couldn't help but glance at her: "Who is she? This girl is really beautiful!" 0

"That's the mayor's daughter." 0

"No wonder she has such good grace; this girl's looks are truly captivating!" 0

"I heard that the chief's son has taken a liking to her..." 0

"Isn't that a bit too early?" 0

... 0

After entering the hall, Fairleya wanted to find an inconspicuous place to sit but unexpectedly discovered that every seat at each table had been pre-arranged. The chairs were illuminated by phantom light displaying each person's name, so one could not sit randomly. 0

At this moment, Feilbolai was the happiest, as he was seated at the same banquet table as Fairleya, with their chairs placed closely together. Upon noticing Fairleya, he hurriedly called her over to sit next to him. Fairleya was extremely reluctant, but her mother forcefully pulled her over and made her sit down in the designated seat, leaving Fairleya feeling very embarrassed. 0

Seeing this, Feilbolai quickly said, "Hello, Aunt! I'm so glad to see you again!" He turned to Fairleya and noticed her displeased expression, thinking of ways to please her. "Fairleya, what would you like to drink? Red wine? Or Fruit Wine?" 0

Fairleya still maintained a stern face and suddenly remarked, "I'm not some kind of goddess. Feilbolai, why haven't you advanced yet? It would be better for you to spend more time on your studies." 0

This statement left Feilbolai feeling utterly humiliated, his face turning red and then pale. 0

Fairleya's mother hurriedly tried to smooth things over, saying, "You girl, you really don't know how to speak appropriately. Feilbolai is kindly inviting you; how can you treat him like that? From now on, we will be family..." 0

"Aunt, it's fine," Feilbolai quickly interjected to ease the tension. 0

"I'm just speaking the truth," Fairleya said, feeling somewhat angered by her mother's attitude, especially that line about being family. She continued in a huff, "If you have the ability, don't just talk; don't rely on your parents or use those useless tricks. Study hard and show me that you can advance a few levels!" With that, she stood up and declared, "I won't stay!" She decided not to attend the wedding and walked away alone. 0

Fairleya's mother was so furious that she wanted to rush over and teach her a lesson. Fortunately, Fairleya slipped away quickly and avoided being caught. 0

Everyone began discussing this unreasonable girl, shaking their heads and sighing. 0
