The triannual Mars Alliance School Martial Arts Competition is a captivating event on Mars, drawing the attention of the alien Belche.
He disguised himself and infiltrated Mars Alliance School, watching the duel between Kairuot and Feilbolai from the stands.
From Belche's perspective, he believed that the sons of the Kairo Tribe and the Fair Tribe competing in the finals represented the future of the two major families on Mars. The martial arts competition between these two individuals was indicative of the future direction of Martian martial arts.
Observing the performance of these young fighters, Belche felt deeply that they were formidable… If they continued to develop their skills at this rate, their potential was limitless. The final shocking strike gave him a sense of déjà vu, and he couldn't help but murmur, "Isn't this just like the Cosmic Wave Energy unleashed by Kairuoka decades ago? Truly terrifying."
All of this plunged Belche into worries about the future… However, when he saw Feilbolai fall on the arena floor, he couldn't help but secretly rejoice. He felt that the opportunity he had been waiting for had finally arrived. Thus, he followed the rescue personnel who took Feilbolai to the Emergency Room and then lay in ambush within the hospital, waiting for Feilbolai's surgery to end and for him to be placed in the Recovery Pod.
Belche waited until deep into the night before initiating his plan.
First, he used a remote electronic tracker to knock out the attending physician and obtained access to the restricted area of Mars Alliance School Affiliated Hospital with a Golden Finger. Then, disguised as a doctor, he smoothly navigated through the hospital and entered Feilbolai's Recovery Pod.
Inside the Recovery Pod, Feilbolai lay quietly with his eyes closed in Quantum Cell Fluid. Belche smirked as he removed Feilbolai from the Recovery Pod and pushed him toward the Human Quantum Chamber. Along the way, he encountered a nurse conducting rounds who asked, "What are you doing pushing a patient at this hour?"
Wearing a protective mask, Belche lowered his voice and replied, "The patient's condition has worsened; he needs quantum repair or there could be danger," while pointing toward the Human Quantum Chamber.
Upon hearing this, the nurse quickly assisted in pushing Feilbolai into the quantum machine of the Human Quantum Chamber.
With help from that nurse, Belche opened the Human Quantum Machine and quietly implanted an electronic chip he had crafted into Feilbolai's brain. Once everything was completed, the nurse returned Feilbolai to the Recovery Pod… After everything was done, Belche quietly returned the Golden Finger to its original place, secretly rejoicing that everything had gone too smoothly.
Feilbolai has been lying in the Recovery Pod for three days after the surgery, but he still hasn't woken up... The doctor couldn't help but feel puzzled. Various diagnostic instruments showed that everything was normal.
Feeling strange, the doctor asked the nurse present, "Has anything unusual happened with Feilbolai in the Recovery Pod these past few days?"
One nurse replied, "No... except for the night before the patient was admitted to the hospital, you pushed him back into the Human Quantum Machine for repairs, and no one has touched him since."
The doctor found it odd. "At night? I haven't been to the Human Quantum Chamber these past few nights; you must be mistaken."
The nurse said, "I'm not mistaken. I even helped you activate the Human Quantum Machine. After your surgery, I was the one who pushed Feilbolai back to the Recovery Pod."
The doctor was quite surprised. "This is truly bizarre."
As the doctor and nurses were talking, Feilbolai woke up. He tried to get up from the fluid but the doctor quickly stopped him: "You're still in recovery; you can't move around. You need to lie down for a while longer." He hurriedly called over a nurse and instructed, "He's awake; you all hurry and give him an injection."
Feilbolai felt dizzy and asked in confusion, "Why am I lying in bed?"
The doctor replied, "You were injured during the Martial Arts Competition, and you're being treated in the hospital. However, your injuries are not serious; you just need to rest in the Recovery Pod for a while."
Feilbolai strained to recall, "I was injured? ... How did I get injured?" He truly couldn't remember—because the brain tissue related to that painful memory had already been replaced by the doctor. It might be better never to recall such painful memories at all.
At that moment, a nurse approached the doctor and said, "There is a person named Becheer who claims to be a good friend of Feilbolai and requests to see him."
The doctor replied, "Tell him that the patient cannot see anyone during treatment."
Feilbolai seemed to sense this and urgently said to the doctor, "No, I want to see this person! I must see him!"
Seeing his determination, the doctor had no choice but to say, "Let him in."
Belche entered the Recovery Pod holding a bouquet of flowers. As soon as Feilbolai saw him, he greeted him like an old friend, saying, "Come in! It's been a long time since I've seen you."
Although it was clearly their first meeting, why did it feel like they were old friends? This was because Belche had implanted a chip in Feilbolai's brain, recording images and fabricated memories about himself. Now, he had transformed into Feilbolai's master, and all of Feilbolai's actions would absolutely obey Belche's commands.
Today, Belche came to the hospital to test whether the chip implanted in Feilbolai's brain was successful...
