After Kairuot and Fairleya advanced to the middle grades, they realized how heavy the academic workload was. Graduating was not easy, which explained why some people spent decades just to move up a grade. 0

As a result, Kairuot and Fairleya no longer had time to practice at Golden Tower every day; instead, they went every few days and invested several times more energy into their respective cultural studies. 0

During this time, Feilbolai was also actively pursuing further education and quickly jumped two grades, advancing to the middle grade class in the next school term. 0

Time flew by, and soon it was time for Kairuot and Fairleya to prepare for their middle grade graduation exams. 0

The importance of the graduation exams and the heavy academic load left Kairuot with no time for anything else but studying and training. 0

Every night, due to the significant mental exhaustion from the day, he needed sufficient sleep, so he went to bed on time each night and quickly fell into a deep sleep. However, every morning when he woke up, Kairuot always felt as if someone had quietly come to his bedside the previous night, placing a hand on his forehead and softly calling his name, as if trying to guide his soul in that person's direction. Fortunately, Kairuot's spirit was protected by a powerful internal Cosmic Wave Energy, which prevented that person's energy from overpowering him and guiding his soul away. 0

Feeling puzzled, Kairuot thought of Fair Connie. He immediately decided to visit her. 0

When Fair Connie saw Kairuot come to her during such a busy exam period, she guessed there must be something urgent and asked, "Is there something going on lately?" 0

"I'm not sure if it's just my imagination," Kairuot replied thoughtfully. "These past few nights, I've had this hazy awareness of someone coming to my bedside, placing their hand on my forehead and calling my name, as if they wanted to draw my soul away. The next day, I always feel drained and lightheaded when I walk; my mind feels a bit muddled..." 0

"Soul Absorption Technique," Fair Connie quickly concluded. "There aren't many practicing the Soul Absorption Technique on Mars; you could count them on one hand. To master such a skill requires profound inner strength; this person must be quite powerful. We need to think carefully about who might want to harm you." 0

Confused, Kairuot asked, "They want to harm me? Why not just kill me directly with a single strike instead of using such an indirect method?" 0

Fair Connie replied, "They want to absorb your soul without anyone noticing, making it seem like you died suddenly. This person is very malicious; they intend to eliminate your soul so that you will disappear from this universe forever. Other methods would only destroy your physical body; the Human Quantum Machine can restore that as long as your soul remains intact." 0

"Someone wants to kill me?" Kairuot questioned in disbelief. "I have no enmity with anyone; why would they want to harm me?" As he spoke, an image of Feilbolai suddenly flashed through his mind. 0

"Fair Connie" said, "Actually, there has been a hidden danger lurking around you—earlier, I discovered that someone tampered with the 'Martial Arts Manual' in the 'Golden Tower,' intending to lead you astray. Now, someone else wants to destroy your soul, preventing you from ever being reborn. Perhaps these two incidents are the work of the same person. You see, someone has tried to harm you more than once; you must be cautious." 0

"Kairuot" nodded slightly but couldn't help but worry, "How can I be cautious? I'm in the open while they are in the shadows; it's hard to guard against them." 0

"Fair Connie" thought seriously for a moment, leaned closer to "Kairuot's" ear, and suggested, "Then tonight, let's set a trap for this person and see who they really are. Tonight, you pretend to be asleep..." 0

After hearing this, "Kairuot" understood and then got up to take his leave, quietly waiting for nightfall. 0

Night soon fell, and "Kairuot" lay down at the usual time. 0

Though he lay in bed, he wasn't truly asleep; his eyes were slightly squinted as he listened attentively to the sounds around him. 0

Time passed slowly in silence. After a good part of the night had gone by, there was still no movement in the room. "Kairuot's" vigilance gradually relaxed, and he began to feel drowsy. Just as he was about to drift off to sleep, a figure silently darted to his bedside. When "Kairuot" felt a hand pressing lightly on his forehead, that person had already begun to channel their energy. 0

In his hazy state of consciousness, driven by instinctive reactions to danger, he flipped over and threw a punch! 0

The shadow quickly dodged aside. Then "Kairuot" executed a flying kick; the opponent blocked with both hands and staggered back two steps. Just as the shadow steadied itself and was about to counterattack, it suddenly felt a gust of wind coming from behind! It hurriedly tried to evade—unfortunately, it was too late, and its arm took a heavy hit! This was a strike from "Fair Connie." If it were an ordinary person, they would have been knocked down by now. It seemed this shadow indeed possessed formidable skills; after taking the hit, it managed to roll away and counter with a kick. However, this move had already been anticipated by "Fair Connie," who easily deflected it. 0

Taking advantage of the shadow's focus on "Fair Connie," "Kairuot" clenched his fists tightly and leaped into the air, using all his strength to charge at the shadow. The anger contained in his punch unleashed a burst of Cosmic Wave Energy that struck the shadow's back, causing it to stagger and nearly fall. 0

"Fair Connie" also took this opportunity to throw a punch. At this point, the shadow could only defend itself; it seemed that punch had indeed hurt it. Not daring to linger any longer, it stumbled and jumped out of the window to escape, with "Fair Connie" closely following. 0

"Kairuot" also chased after them; however, both the shadow and "Fair Connie" had already vanished without a trace. 0

"Kairuot" then leaped onto a large tree across from his window to observe and determine which direction to pursue but found several shadows standing on the edge of his dormitory window. 0

Kairuot leaped towards the shadow and shouted, "Who are you?!" 0

Seeing that Kairuot had discovered him, the shadow remained silent and began to fight with Kairuot. 0

The shadow was clearly no match for Kairuot and hurriedly unleashed his ultimate move—Ling Kong Pi Li Zhang from Fair Fist Path! As Kairuot raised his hand to counter, the shadow seized the opportunity to retreat. 0

Kairuot was very familiar with Ling Kong Pi Li Zhang; it was the final move used during the finals against Feilbolai. Even though the shadow was wearing a mask this time, Kairuot had already deduced from their fighting style that the shadow was indeed Feilbolai. 0

At that moment, Fairleya, who had heard about the plan from Fair Connie and rushed over out of concern, appeared. Upon seeing Kairuot, she quickly asked, "Who were you just fighting? Do you know who harmed you?" 0

Kairuot replied with certainty, "It was Feilbolai." 0

"What a scoundrel!" Fairleya exclaimed angrily. "What does he want?" 0

"It's still unclear what his intentions are," Kairuot said. "There were two of them in total; Fei Er Connie and Godmother went after the other one." 0

"This Feilbolai is not simple," Fairleya murmured. "He even has an accomplice." 0

Fair Connie soon returned and said upon seeing them, "This guy is indeed formidable. He is seriously injured, yet his Lightness Skill is still impressive; in the blink of an eye, he vanished without a trace. He must be someone we know well; you both need to be cautious of him from now on. It seems Mars Alliance School will not be peaceful from now on..." 0
