After dinner, Belzun the Elder instructed the butler to arrange a place for him to stay. This place was a quaint little courtyard, an inner courtyard within the Dragon Clan estate, which could be closed off by a door. The courtyard featured a hall, east and west wing rooms, a Training Room, a study, and a dressing room specifically for grooming. This courtyard was the only one in Dragonfall Lodge that did not have dragon decorations; instead, it was adorned with totems of dragons. Each room was decorated with exquisite floral and bird patterns as well as images of beautiful women. The rooms were kept very clean and tidy, and a faint scent of perfume lingered in the air, indicating that the owner of this courtyard must be a woman.
The most striking feature of this little courtyard was an ancient tree in the center, its branches twisting and strong, with roots intertwining. The entire tree had an imposing presence, resembling a giant umbrella that sheltered the entire courtyard beneath its protection. This tree was the tallest and largest in Dragonfall Lodge, visible from afar.
Although it was said that someone was specially arranged to accompany Kairuot for training, he had already been waiting in the west wing room for nearly an hour, with not a single person in sight throughout the courtyard. Bored, Kairuot contemplated going to the Training Room to practice alone. Just then, Long Er, a little sprite, peeked in through the window with a mischievous smile and exclaimed to Kairuot inside, “Congratulations, big brother!”
Kairuot turned around upon seeing Long Er and quickly waved him to come inside. Long Er promptly climbed through the window without hesitation.
Before Kairuot could ask Long Er what he meant by his earlier comment, they heard a loud voice from outside: “Who is so bold as to act recklessly in my courtyard!”
Upon hearing the voice, Long Er made a gesture of sticking out his tongue and said, “Uh-oh, Belle is here.”
As soon as Long Er finished speaking, a figure flew in through the window with a swoosh. A series of attack moves followed that left Kairuot scrambling to defend himself. First came a palm strike aimed at his chest, which he blocked with his arms; then came a flying kick that he dodged. Following that were rapid punches from his opponent that were so powerful that anyone without internal strength would have been knocked out or fallen to the ground. Kairuot had no choice but to channel his Cosmic Wave Energy to defend himself. In an instant of urgency during her attack, Kairuot seized her wrist but she countered with a twist that broke free from his grip. Kairuot then employed the 36 Grappling Techniques taught by Grandmaster and achieved remarkable results; he managed to capture her instead. She found herself pinned down by Kairuot and unable to move. Long Er quickly interjected, “Big brother, let go! Let go! She is Belle!”
“Belle?” Kairuot took a closer look at the person he had pinned down and realized she was a girl; startled, he quickly released her.
Belle rolled over and kicked Kairuot down while he was still off guard.
Looking at Kairuot on the ground, Belle reached out her hand to help him up. It was then that Kairuot got a clear look at her. She was a strikingly beautiful girl with thick eyebrows and big eyes, an oval face framed by long black hair tied into a ponytail cascading down to her shoulders. She wore training attire embroidered with white and red borders featuring the Golden Dragon on her chest and had a golden belt around her waist that accentuated her graceful figure. Belle felt surprised by Kairuot's unblinking gaze on her; thinking there might be something wrong with her outfit's buttons, she looked down but found nothing amiss.
Kairuot stood up from the ground and walked over to Belle, extending his hand for an introduction: “My name is Kairuot.”
“I’m Belden,” Belle replied as she shook Kairuot’s hand. “Everyone calls me Dan Sister.” As she spoke, her cheeks flushed.
“Dan Sister, nice to meet you!” Kairuot said politely.
“You're staying here now; there's no need for formalities,” Belle's face turned even redder.
Kairuot couldn't understand what Belden meant and explained, "I was sent here to live by Great-Great-Grandfather."
"I know..." Belden was about to say something.
Long Er watched Belle with affectionate eyes, jumped up happily, and exclaimed, "Oh, big brother and Belle are going to have a wedding feast!!"
Belden and Kairuot quickly separated their hands. Kairuot felt confused and wanted to ask Long Er what was going on: "Long Er, Long Er..."
He saw Long Er happily bouncing out of the room, leaving behind a statement that made Kairuot even more puzzled: "I need to hurry and tell Great-Great-Grandfather!"

Once Long Er left, only the two of them remained in the west wing. Belden broke the silence first and asked, "Who taught you your Grappling Technique?"
"My father taught me," Kairuot replied.
"Your father?" Belden asked in surprise.
"My father taught me," Kairuot affirmed. "What's wrong with that?"
"How does your father know my Great-Great-Grandfather?" Belden asked again.
"Oh, I see. Your Great-Great-Grandfather is good friends with my Grandmaster, so your Great-Great-Grandfather would also know the Kai Ruo Grappling Technique," Kairuot explained to Belden.
"What boxing style did you use afterward?" Belden inquired.
"The latter half of the 36 moves of the Kai Ruo Grappling Technique," Kairuot answered.
"I didn't know that the Kai Ruo Grappling Technique had a second half of 36 moves," Belden asked curiously.
"The Kai Ruo Grappling Technique consists of a total of 108 moves, and this second half of 36 moves is something my Grandmaster recently taught me," Kairuot honestly replied.
"Let's go to the Training Room, and you can teach me the second half of the 36 moves of the Grappling Technique," Belden said, pulling Kairuot's hand and heading towards the Training Room before he could even nod in agreement.
How could Kairuot refuse a beautiful girl's request? He had no choice but to teach Belden the second half of the 36 moves of the Kai Ruo Grappling Technique in the Training Room. After all, Belden's Cognitive Ability was much lower than his, and he had to repeat each move several times before she could remember it. Unknowingly or not, whenever they were in close grappling positions, Belden would always press against him without hesitation, leaving Kairuot feeling flustered.
After finishing the last move, Belden unexpectedly hugged Kairuot tightly, resting her head on his chest and happily listening to his heartbeat. This made Kairuot quite embarrassed; he had never been this intimate with Fairleya, even after long hours of training together. He wanted to push her away gently but found her grip too tight. He could only softly say to her, "I've finished teaching you the second half of the 36 moves of the Grappling Technique."
"I know," Belden replied in a teasing tone.
Finally, Belden lifted her head and gazed at Kairuot with affection, saying, "Tonight, let's sleep together in the East Wing Room."
Having already been caught off guard by Belden's embrace, her suggestion to share a bed was too much for him. Wasn't this girl a bit too forward? No matter what, Kairuot couldn't accept it. He stammered, "I... I think I'll just sleep in the West Chamber..."
"What are you afraid of? I won't eat you," Belden teased playfully.
"I..." Before Kairuot could finish his sentence, he broke free from her embrace and awkwardly ran away.
Watching Kairuot flee in such a flustered manner, Belden couldn't help but laugh and said, "What a hopeless guy."
