Fairleya bid farewell to Grandmaster and followed the path indicated by the navigation. She adhered to the old man's advice, sticking to dry land and avoiding waterways. Despite being constantly disturbed by various insect monsters along the way, she was protected by her spacesuit and suffered no harm. The route was filled with trees and Thorny Bushes, making it quite difficult to navigate. She had to rely on her Lightness Skill to leap through the Terrifying Forest.
Just as Fairleya skillfully jumped from one branch to another, a gigantic ape suddenly blocked her path—
The girl naturally wanted to bypass the Giant Ape by leaping over to another branch, but the Giant Ape seemed intent on preventing her from passing, moving its massive body side to side to block her way. She had no choice but to slow down and confront the Giant Ape.
At that moment, the Giant Ape stopped on a thick branch, observing her for a long time before baring its teeth and letting out a series of threatening sounds.
Suddenly, the Giant Ape let out a furious roar, leaping forward with powerful legs and outstretched arms!
Seeing the danger, Fairleya quickly dodged and leaped onto another tree, narrowly avoiding the Giant Ape's powerful strike. In her evasion, she triggered her Palm Laser, swinging her fingers to unleash a beam of light that struck the Giant Ape's arm. The impact made the Giant Ape howl in pain as it broke several thick branches and nearly fell from its height.
After this blow, the Giant Ape dared not provoke Fairleya again and retreated to the trees, howling in a mix of distress and anger, attracting more Giant Apes that gathered around it. Within moments, dozens of eyes were fixed on Fairleya, ready to launch an attack at any moment.
Fairleya was not foolish; although she wore a spacesuit and had activated the Cosmic Wave Energy in her body for protection, she was still afraid of being overwhelmed by so many Giant Apes. It would be increasingly difficult to shake them off. Therefore, rather than fight, Fairleya quickly sought an escape route and took off at the first opportunity.

Thus, Fairleya was chased by a group of Giant Apes, leaping and hiding through the forest as she focused solely on escaping. The Giant Apes pursued her deep into the dense woods but eventually halted their chase due to the presence of even more powerful monsters in the area.
Though puzzled as to why these annoying monkeys suddenly stopped pursuing her, Fairleya finally had a moment to catch her breath while perched on a branch. She opened her palm-sized Navigation Device, only to discover that she had strayed far from her original path... Returning was impossible now, especially with that group of Giant Apes waiting for her on the way back.
As she fiddled with the navigation prompts, it inadvertently directed her towards an alternative route leading to Dragonfall Lodge. This new path indicated by the navigation required her to walk over a hundred miles straight through the forest until reaching the end of the Terrifying Forest. There, the map clearly marked a red dot labeled as a door. It illustrated that entering this door would lead to a secret passage across the riverbank, allowing her to avoid crossing the wide and dangerous Olympus River.
The navigation map clearly indicated that across the Olympus River, there was a huge Gorge connected to the Qilong Pool. However, this section of the map did not mark any paths. Yet, the navigation map highlighted a hidden route that led deep into Olympus Mons, reaching a red dot where there were no further paths. It was unclear whether this red dot was the endpoint of the route or some place that could not be marked. This left Fairleya suspicious, and she decided to follow the navigation path to see what that red dot really was.
As night fell, Fairleya began to feel a bit tired. She rested on the treetop of a giant tree, preparing to eat something. Just then, a massive shadow lunged at her—she instinctively dodged as a giant eagle extended its claws toward the spot where she had just been sitting, causing several branches on the treetop to snap under the immense impact! That was close; if she had reacted even a moment slower, she would have been snatched away by the Giant Eagle.
Fairleya quickly dove into the forest. The Giant Eagle could not spread its wings in the dense woods and had no choice but to circle and hover above the trees, allowing her to narrowly escape disaster.
It seemed quite dangerous to walk on treetops; she could only navigate through the forest and sleep within it. The Giant Eagle, seeing no opportunity to strike, flew away. Finally feeling somewhat at ease, she found a fork in the tree where she could rest. After finishing her food, she decided not to move forward any longer. She opened her backpack, took out her sleeping bag, hung it on the tree trunk, and without changing her clothes, crawled into the sleeping bag to sleep.
After an unknown amount of time, Fairleya felt difficulty breathing; her whole body felt like it was being continuously wriggled by something. She opened her eyes and unzipped her sleeping bag, only to find herself surrounded by thick acidic slime. She suddenly realized: "Oh no! It seems I have been swallowed into an Animal's Stomach!"
She quickly checked for her dagger at her waist, concentrated all her strength, and thrust it hard into the soft stomach lining before making a swift cut. Instantly, a large gash opened up. The thick slime in front of her helmet's visor turned red with blood.
At that moment when the gash opened, Fairleya quickly crawled out. She discovered a giant python writhing in pain on the ground nearby. Not giving the python a chance, as it turned its head to attack her, she unleashed dual palm lasers that severed half of its head, instantly killing it.
She let out a long sigh of relief; she couldn't stay in this Terrifying Forest for another moment.
Covered in stomach slime and blood, she looked disheveled and didn't bother retrieving anything from her sleeping bag inside the python's belly. Taking advantage of the thick darkness of night, she hurriedly moved in the direction indicated by the navigation.
After a night of rapid travel, by midday, Fairleya arrived at the edge of the Olympus River. In a rush, she jumped into the river to wash off all the filthy blood and slime from her body while hoping not to encounter any monsters like dragons or crocodiles in this river...
Fairleya's spacesuit transformed back into a clean state, and then she used the navigation map to return to the interior of Terrifying Forest. It was not easy to locate the red dot on the navigation map. After searching repeatedly, she finally confirmed that the red dot was a large mound covered in Thorns at the edge of Terrifying Forest. She observed the mound, which was taller than two people, but could not find where the entrance switch was located.
While she was troubled, Fairleya heard rustling sounds behind her. She noticed someone approaching the mound and quickly hid behind a giant tree to spy on what they were doing. She saw that the person waved their palm at the Thorny Bushes, which immediately parted to form a door. Then, after entering a series of symbols and numbers on the door's display screen, it opened, and the person quickly walked inside.
As Fairleya, who had exceptionally strong Cognitive Ability, memorized the symbols and numbers that the person had just entered. She hadn't expected it to be so simple to enter that door. Imitating the person, she waved her left hand with the Navigation Device in front of the Thorny Bushes. Indeed, a door appeared before her eyes. She quickly inputted the symbols and numbers she had remembered, and the door leading to the dark passage opened.
