A busy day has passed, and Belron has returned to a place that feels both familiar and very strange. Everything in this room seems to be arranged like the Dragonfall Lodge and Fennel Dumpling Shop, but it lacks the familiar scent that Belron knows. His wife hasn't had a good night's sleep in a long time, and as soon as she lies down on the bed, she falls asleep.
However, Belron cannot sleep at all. He simply gets up from the bed and quietly pushes open the street-facing window. A refreshing breeze blows in, making him feel invigorated. He can't help but murmur, "The air of Penglai Immortal Island is indeed different from that of Mars Dragon Mountain Villa."
With such fresh air, Belron places his teacup on the tea table by the window, sipping tea while breathing in the slightly humid air coming from the sea. The night is shrouded in thick fog, and the overlapping scenery of the lodges is no longer visible; only dim and flickering lights can be seen, indicating that there are still people awake in this night.
Belron reflects on his life, which resembles this scenery: beautiful during the day but hazy and unclear at night. He has fallen from being a once-glorious general of the Capricorn Planet Kingdom to a prisoner of war. This tumultuous journey opens the floodgates of memories...
Since the Dragonfall Lodge base was exposed, the Capricorn King sent his Marshal Belche to personally investigate the matter at Dragonfall Lodge. To shirk responsibility, Bel Six exaggerated the situation when reporting to Belche, claiming that it was due to collusion between Belzon and Kairuot. He stated that his great-granddaughter Belden had defected with Kairuot to Mars Alliance Headquarters.
Upon hearing this, Belche flew into a rage and immediately revoked all of Belzon's positions, appointing Bel Six as the head of the Dragonfall Lodge base. He also ordered the arrest of Belzon; however, he was a step too late—Belzon had already led a group from the lodge to an unknown location. What infuriated Belche even more was that Belzon had also stolen a command spaceship from the Mars Sea Base along with many machines and equipment from the base, disappearing without a trace.
The Belron couple did not leave with Belzon; they wanted to stay at Dragonfall Lodge waiting for their beloved daughter to return. As a result, their wait led to trouble.
Bel Six had always wanted to marry Li Girl as his wife, but both her parents and Li Girl herself refused—her pride would likely prevent Bel Six from even having a chance to approach her. His good fortune with Fairleya was also ruined by this golden-haired girl, which made Bel Six harbor deep resentment towards them. Thus, he dared not report his disgraceful actions to Belche and instead labeled Li Girl as a traitor who had defected with Belden.
When Belche summoned the couple for questioning, Belron naturally refused to admit that his daughter was a traitor but could not produce her either. Consequently, Belche had no choice but to take them to Capricorn Planet for royal judgment.
The Capricorn King had old ties with Belron; after all, he was the son of an old general. Thanks to their previous friendship and Belron's own defense, he not only escaped punishment from the king but was also valued during a time when the nation needed talent. By an unexpected turn of events, he was appointed by Capricorn King as Marshal of the Capricorn Planet Robot Combat Force, putting him on equal footing with Belche.
The Capricorn Planet Robot Combat Force is one of the best among the four major combat units of Capricorn Planet, indicating how much importance Capricorn King placed on him. This unit is highly modernized and well-equipped. After taking office, drawing on years of experience gained from following his grandfather in various campaigns, Belron managed the unit efficiently and effectively. In several small battles against Martians, Belron's forces achieved repeated victories, earning him recognition and favor from the king as he became the most favored among the four Marshals.
At the grand celebration banquet, with lights and wine flowing, and songs and dances filling the air, the King held a special feast in honor of Belron. In front of many ministers, the King praised him and bestowed numerous gifts upon him.
Belron drew the envy of many, who raised their glasses to congratulate him. After everyone had offered their congratulations, Belche approached him with a beaming smile, holding a cup: "Congratulations, the hope of Capricorn Kingdom."
The two clinked their glasses and took a sip of Fruit Wine. At that moment, Belron was already slightly tipsy but tried hard to stay alert.
"Marshal, please don't tease me," Belron said. "To be honest, everything here feels as insignificant as floating clouds; what I care about most is my daughter."
"Your daughter," Belche pondered. "Oh, I heard she went to Earth."
Belron's eyes lit up: "Really? Are you saying she's on Earth? Is that true?"
Belche nodded slyly: "My information is absolutely accurate."
"If what you say is true, I need to ask the King for leave to go to Earth," he said eagerly as he walked towards the King. The King granted Belron's request and urged him to return quickly. He also quietly informed him to meet in the main hall after the banquet for further discussion. Belron happily returned to his place and told Belche: "After I arrange my troops, I'll leave in a couple of days."
Belche raised his glass: "Wishing you find your daughter soon!"
After the celebration banquet concluded, Belron hurriedly arrived at the King's council hall as per Capricorn King's request.
The King was already seated on his throne, intricately carved with the patterns of the Bel Tribe, waiting for him. King Bel Ao had grown up alongside Belron; they were the best of friends. At this moment, the King’s hair had turned completely white, making him appear older and more haggard than Belron. He sat there with his eyes half-closed, seeming to doze off.
Belron approached and called out several times before the King woke up and slowly said, "You’ve arrived; please take a seat."
Belron asked, "What do you need from me?"
King Bel Ao inquired in a deep voice, "You said you wanted to take a few days off to go to Earth to find your daughter?"
"That's right, you agreed to it at that time."
"Who said your daughter is on Earth?"
"Belche."
"Oh." The king was now wide awake. "Are you sure you can find your daughter once you get to Earth?"
