The two of them unknowingly finished touring the massive Capricornian clone production base.
Several hours passed, and according to the time displayed on the Wristband, it was already the hour of the pig. After such a long time wandering around the base, they had not encountered a single person. Kairuot couldn't help but feel puzzled and said to Xiaoli, "Don't you find it strange? We've been wandering around the base for so long, yet no one has come to ask us anything."
"Who cares? Isn't it better that no one has come to ask? It saves us from having to fight," Xiaoli replied dismissively. "Ah, I feel a bit tired. It would be great if there was a room where we could rest."
"A lounge?" Kairuot's mind quickly recalled the map displayed on the computer in the Control Room. "There's a house nearby."
Soon, they arrived at that house. Inside was a meticulously arranged bedroom—soft lighting and fragrant fresh flowers placed on a flower stand made it feel warm and romantic. Fruit tea, fruits, and daily necessities were all available; it was clear that this was specially prepared for the two of them.
Kairuot felt somewhat troubled. He had used all his sixth and seventh senses but still couldn't determine whether the other party was friend or foe. If they were enemies, they hadn't harmed them; although there was surveillance, no one had obstructed them. They were well-fed and could go wherever they pleased without restrictions. If they were friends, however, they had trapped them inside, leaving them to find their own way in and out with difficult paths.
He kept asking himself: What exactly do they want?
Xiaoli was indeed tired; as soon as she lay down on the bed, she fell fast asleep. After a day of turmoil, Kairuot also felt exhausted. Seeing that Xiaoli was already asleep, he had a lot to say but couldn't express it to anyone, so he had to keep it bottled up inside. He lay down on a nearby sofa and gradually drifted off to sleep as well.
When they finally woke up, the clock on the Screen Wall showed that it was already noon. Kairuot quickly woke Xiaoli up. After a quick wash-up, they walked out of the bedroom and found that their lunch was already prepared on the table.
Without asking who brought it, Xiaoli picked up a bowl and chopsticks and started eating. Seeing that Kairuot hadn't touched his food, she said, "Hurry up and eat! Once we're full, we can continue our journey."
"Where are we going?" Kairuot asked.
"Wherever we go," Xiaoli replied while putting food into her mouth.
Kairuot couldn't help but laugh at Xiaoli's eating habits and deliberately said, "Aren't you afraid they might poison your food?"
"I'm immune to all poisons. Why would I be afraid of them poisoning me?"
"I think you'll either choke on the food or get poisoned."
Xiaoli indeed choked on her food and hurried to grab a cup of water from the coffee table on the sofa. However, her attention was drawn to an object—"Oh, there's a wristband here?" She picked up the wristband and looked at it, "Kairuot, is this your wristband?"

Kairuot took the wristband Xiaoli handed him and examined it for a moment before saying, "Someone sent us a map." As he spoke, he turned on the wristband, and a beam of light projected onto the wall, revealing a map of the corridors and exits surrounding their bedroom.
"With this wristband for navigation, we won't get lost," Kairuot said happily.
They ate while adjusting the settings on the wristband to view the map on the wall—
From this, they learned that Earth was a sphere fully utilized by the Capricornian.
The map marked many locations, such as the deepest center of Earth, known as the Core Zone, which was a plaza. From the Earth's Core, it spread outward where the Capricornian built a Control Room to manage Earth. Inside this hollowed-out Earth, there were bases for Gene Mutation Experiments, Intelligent Robot Production, and Cloning Production, as well as Capricornian shopping stores, leisure venues, hotels, restaurants, and bars. The wristband's navigation map was both flat and three-dimensional and even included physical images.
Seeing the physical images excited Xiaoli like a child; she shouted that she wanted to go shopping at the mall. When Kairuot asked her if she had any money, she fell silent. They agreed to continue exploring the high-tech Gene Mutation Experiment Base and Intelligent Robot Production Base instead.
The Gene Mutation Experiment Base was quite far from where they lived. Following the wristband's navigation, they boarded an automatic maglev car. The wristband they held was incredibly useful; it covered everything from eating and drinking to using the restroom and sleeping. It could navigate and even call for taxis—all expenses were handled with one click on the wristband without any hassle for them.
Xiaoli raised the Wristband as if she had found a treasure and said, "With this treasure, we won't have to worry about anything wherever we go. We can go shopping at the mall!"
The automatic magnetic levitation vehicle was very fast, and in half an hour, they arrived at the Capricornian Gene Mutation Experiment Base.
The Capricornian Gene Mutation Base was also a closed Experimental Base. Aside from the production line, the laboratory left them with a lot of shadows in their hearts after seeing it. A person who was perfectly fine became a different kind of monster after gene mutation. The mutated individuals had giant bodies, fierce faces, sharp fangs, and green skin, evoking fear. It was unclear why the Capricornian placed such importance on genetic research to build such a large laboratory on Earth.
Xiaoli was unwilling to continue touring the laboratory, so Kairuot had no choice but to respect her wishes and took the car directly to visit the Intelligent Robot Production Line.
The Intelligent Robot Production Line was not far from the Gene Laboratory base; it was also half an hour's drive away, and they quickly arrived there.
The robot production process opened their eyes; the robots produced were almost indistinguishable from real humans. Kairuot was confused by this base of the Capricornian, thinking: [Since there is a production base for Clones, why create a robot production base? Isn't that redundant?]
He entered the control room of the robot production base and browsed through the computer data set up inside. He finally understood that Clones served living Homo Sapiens, acting as substitutes, caretakers, servants... The robots served the deceased ancestors of the Capricornian, providing a resting place for their souls, allowing their souls to reside in robots they favored, becoming intelligent beings, enabling their wisdom to continue serving Capricorn Planet. After looking at the information on the computer, Kairuot said, "No wonder the bodies stored in the ancient tombs of the Egyptian Pyramid have not been attended to for thousands of years; it turns out their souls have already found a resting place, as they have been placed in robots. In this regard, the technological level of the Capricornian is much higher than that of the Martians."
Xiaoli asked, "If you were to live for another hundred years, would you be willing to have your soul placed in such a robot?"
Kairuot replied, "The attachment of a person's soul does not necessarily have to be human-shaped; it can attach to different forms. My soul does not want to be bound; I could be air, particles floating in space, or perhaps some solid form you cannot imagine."
Xiaoli clasped her hands together and prayed, "May our souls always accompany each other so that we never part."
