The day after Belden and Xiaoli finished their Buddhist class, they hurriedly left to help Great-Great-Grandfather organize the Penglai Martial Arts Grand Assembly, leaving Kairuot alone at White Horse Temple. Fortunately, Kairuot did not remain idle; after becoming the martial arts coach for the monks at White Horse Temple, he devoted himself to training them, effectively becoming a part of the temple. 0

Time flew by, and six months passed with Kairuot coaching at Luoyang White Horse Temple. The monks had become quite skilled in their boxing techniques and could practice independently. However, due to the lack of a training venue like Golden Tower, their internal skills did not achieve the desired results. Kairuot thought of many solutions, such as converting the roof of the Zen Room into a Tower Spitze structure or building a house similar to Golden Tower in an open area, but the energy-gathering effects were not very good. 0

Kairuot did not give up. He discovered a location on Longmen Mountain in Luoyang with excellent feng shui. Therefore, he suggested to Officiate Yan Shou that they build a pyramid on Longmen Mountain as a place for the monks of White Horse Temple to practice advanced internal skills. Naturally, Officiate readily agreed to Great Immortal's suggestion. 0

To construct the pyramid, Kairuot personally went to Longmen Mountain for inspection and drew up plans for its construction. Just as he was preparing for the preliminary work on building the pyramid, Xiaoli returned early from Penglai Immortal Island, urgently telling him, "You need to hurry back to Mars; something has happened at the Mars Alliance Headquarters. Sister Laya is missing!" Hearing that his wife, Fairleya, was in trouble made Kairuot anxious, and he immediately decided to rush back to Penglai Immortal Island. 0

After briefly explaining to Officiate at White Horse Temple, Kairuot, ignoring whether Xiaoli was exhausted from her long journey, hurriedly set off with her towards Penglai Immortal Island. 0

In the evening, they once again arrived at their familiar front island of Penglai Immortal Island, known as Solitary Sail Island. 0

Strangely enough, before nightfall, the entire island was enveloped in thick fog. The rare fog curtain made it impossible to see one's hand in front of them, as if they had fallen into a sea of clouds. 0

Looking at the dense fog, Kairuot began to worry and said, "This fog seems to be targeting us. Even in winter, we wouldn't encounter such thick fog; it's truly unusual. If this fog doesn't clear in three days, we'll have to find another way out." 0

Xiaoli shook her head in disagreement: "Don't think too much; being paranoid won't help. It's possible to have such thick fog in winter; I've seen it before. We haven't contacted Great-Great-Grandfather yet; if we can reach him, he will surely have a way to deal with this fog." 0

Kairuot replied, "To contact Great-Great-Grandfather, we need to reach Penglai Immortal Island. It looks like this fog won't clear for two or three days; we're still halfway away from it. Even without the fog, we would still have a day's journey ahead. Do you know if there are any wormholes on Earth that lead directly to Mars?" 0

Xiaoli shook her head again and responded, "We can return to Mars from the Arctic Base using the Time Tunnel. However, now we're trapped on this solitary island; we can't determine our direction in such thick fog." 0

"Don't you have a positioning device?" asked Kairuot. "We can use it for navigation and slowly make our way through the fog. Once we get past this haze, things will be easier." 0

"Unfortunately, I already returned it to Belle," Xiaoli's response left Kairuot thoroughly disappointed. 0

"Sigh! It seems we have no choice but to be trapped on this solitary island," sighed Kairuot. 0

"We'll rest here for the night and see what happens tomorrow. Hopefully, the fog will clear up. For now, we can only leave it to fate," Xiaoli said, clearly exhausted. She yawned, her eyelids heavy, "I've been traveling for two days straight and I'm really tired. I won't keep you company; I'm going to sleep first." Without bothering to take off her coat, she collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep immediately. 0

After a night passed, the two woke up and looked out the window. The thick fog outside had not diminished at all; in fact, it seemed even denser. 0

Kairuot furrowed his brows and said, "It feels like the heavens are working against us. How about we find a boat with navigation and slowly make our way through the fog? Once we get out of this foggy area, things will be easier." 0

Xiaoli replied, "Are you crazy? With this much fog, a boat can't move forward at all. What if we hit a reef halfway?" 0

"This is the only option we've got," Kairuot said helplessly. "It looks like this thick fog won't clear up for at least ten days or so. I can't wait here any longer." 0

Xiaoli understood Kairuot's feelings. She approached the butler of the island, Belrin, and asked, "We're looking for a small boat with navigation. Do you have one on this island?" 0

The butler replied affirmatively, "Yes." 0

"That's good," Xiaoli said. "We just need a small boat with navigation." 0

The butler widened his eyes in surprise and exclaimed, "Are you crazy? With this much fog, even if you have navigation, you can't sail. Are you trying to get yourselves killed?" 0

Xiaoli told the butler, "Just prepare the small boat for us. Make sure there's fresh water and food on board; we're planning to set off in the afternoon." 0

The butler had no choice but to comply. 0

Kairuot and Xiaoli boarded the small boat but headed in the opposite direction of Penglai Immortal Island—because this thick fog made Kairuot feel that Penglai Immortal Island could not help him return to Mars; they could only rely on themselves. His plan was simple: he wanted to return to Mars through the Time Tunnel at the Martians' base in the Arctic. 0

The small boat slowly navigated through the dense fog. The visibility was so poor that they couldn't assess their surroundings and could only rely on the Navigation Device. Although they couldn't see ahead clearly and there were no other boats around, they managed to sail smoothly in the sea for an entire day, but the navigation showed they had only covered a few hundred nautical miles. 0

Seeing the distance displayed on the navigation device, Kairuot thought to himself: [At this speed, who knows when we'll be able to get out of this foggy area? It might be better to increase power and push forward based on instinct; maybe there's still hope.] 0

Thinking of this, Kairuot increased the speed of the small boat. When Xiaoli woke up, she rushed to the cockpit and exclaimed, "Are you crazy? At this speed, aren't you afraid of hitting a reef? Slow down, slow down!" 0

As soon as Xiaoli's voice fell, there was a loud crash, and the boat indeed hit a reef... Water began to flood into the cabin, and they had no choice but to abandon the ship. Looking around, they realized that the small boat had crashed into a rock near a small island. They hurriedly moved the water and food from the boat to the island. 0

Xiaoli scolded, "You only think about going fast. Now look what you've done; in a moment of impulse, you've left us stranded on this deserted island... We're in a dilemma now." 0

Kairuot knew he had made a foolish mistake and fell silent like a sulking child... 0

The island they encountered midway was strange. On the surface, it seemed desolate and overgrown with weeds, but the observant Kairuot noticed something unusual. Although the thick fog obscured their view of the surroundings, there were signs that the trees on the island had been artificially cultivated. 0

Kairuot said to Xiaoli, "I have a feeling that there should be people living here." 0

"This deserted island looks abandoned at first glance. You think someone lives here? Your instincts are getting worse. I feel this is a place where no one dares to stay. There’s no fresh water, and the island is barren with nothing to sustain life." 0

They arrived at a rock and saw hieroglyphs carved on it. Kairuot pointed at the inscriptions and asked, "Do you recognize these characters?" 0

Xiaoli stepped forward to examine them closely and said, "This is the oldest hieroglyph of Capricornian." 0
