The enemy mech did not notice someone quietly approaching it. Kairuot seized the opportunity to stealthily attach a small High-Energy Nuclear Bomb Timer to the back of the enemy mech and quickly left. 0

By the time the enemy mech realized there was something attached to its back, it was too late; the Nuclear Bomb detonated, crippling it on the spot. 0

The massive explosion and intense vibrations woke the soldiers guarding the base. They activated the Heavy Weapons in the base and launched a fierce attack towards the location of the destroyed mech in the sea. If Kairuot had not escaped quickly, he would have been caught by the shells and missiles fired from the base. 0

After a series of violent explosions underwater, calm returned to the seabed surrounding the base. After a while without any movement, the soldiers from Capricorn Planet opened all detection equipment to continue searching for dangerous targets near the base, but they found nothing unusual. 0

Kairuot and Xiaoli were hiding behind a reef on the other side of the base's main gate, quietly waiting for an opportunity. An hour passed, and it was still quiet inside the base; no one dared to come out to check on the damaged mech or retrieve the bodies of the soldiers who had died inside. 0

Kairuot deduced that the soldiers inside would eventually come out but were likely afraid of ambushes and did not dare to act without understanding the true situation outside. So he and Xiaoli quietly moved back into the shadows at the entrance of the base. Another hour passed, and under their officer's command, soldiers began blindly attacking in three other directions with their cannons, nearly flattening all hiding spots in the reefs. Fortunately, they had already stealthily moved next to the destroyed mech at the entrance. 0

The entire base returned to calm once more. After a long time, two soldiers were finally sent to investigate the destroyed mech. The enemy soldiers, wearing diving suits, had not even reached the wreckage when Kairuot and Xiaoli incapacitated them with pressure points. They quickly changed into the enemy soldiers' special diving suits and swam around near the mech before returning to the base. 0

Using the unique access devices on their diving suits, they smoothly passed through sealed chambers and entered the base corridors, arriving at the Control Room. When the highest-ranking leader of the base discovered that these two were not following orders and were acting suspiciously, they appeared right before him. The two soldiers inside had no time to react before being subdued by these uninvited guests. Xiaoli closed and locked the door to the Control Room while Kairuot promptly cut off communications between the Control Room and the outside world. He then approached the immobilized base officer and asked, "Which switch opens the door to the wormhole room leading to Mars?" 0

The officer turned his head away in a show of defiance and sneered, "You’ll never find out!" 0

Kairuot confidently replied, "Even if you don't tell me, I can still find it." 0

"You could open the door to activate it," said the officer coldly, "but you can't start up the wormhole device. Want to go back to Mars? You might as well keep dreaming." 0

Ignoring him, Kairuot opened up a computer in the Control Room and began searching for something. Several hours passed without finding any clues. The communication disruption in Control Room raised suspicions among outside soldiers; they were unaware of what was happening inside. Led by an officer, they arrived at the door of Control Room only to find it tightly shut. Realizing something must have gone wrong inside, they began banging on the door and shouting loudly for it to be opened. 0

Time passed second by second, and the sound of banging on the door outside grew more urgent. Seeing this, Xiaoli shouted, "What are you wasting time talking to them for? If he doesn't tell us how to open the wormhole door, then fine, we won't go back to Mars. We'll turn this base upside down, blow it up, and kill everyone—let's all perish together." 0

Xiaoli's threatening words surprisingly had an effect. The officer, fearing they would destroy the base, hurriedly said, "Don't kill anyone... Alright, alright, I'll tell you how to activate the wormhole." 0

"You can cooperate with us, and everyone will be happy," Kairuot said. "We're just borrowing a way back to Mars; we have no other intentions." With that, he released the officer from his pressure point and added, "Don't try any tricks; it won't end well for you." 0

The officer nodded in agreement. He took a small square from the necklace around his neck and waved it at an inconspicuous device near the control center, but nothing happened. Kairuot snatched the necklace away and aimed it at a special symbol on the device; another door in the Control Room opened. 0

The officer pointed to the opened door and said, "That is the entrance to the wormhole. Once inside, activate the switch and input your destination—Mars—the wormhole device will send you there." After saying this, the officer tried to make a run for it towards the Control Room's door but was quickly grabbed back by Kairuot. "Don't even think about escaping. You’ll only have a chance to get away after we’re sent back to Mars." 0

Kairuot dragged the officer into the Wormhole Chamber, with Xiaoli following closely behind. She pressed the wormhole switch button and closed the door to the wormhole. At that moment, soldiers outside had already broken through the Control Room's main door. Seeing that their two comrades were unable to move or speak and their leader had disappeared, they became very anxious and searched frantically in the Control Room but found nothing. 0

The officer inside the Wormhole Chamber was immobilized by pressure points and gleefully told them, "Haha! We will be trapped in this chamber forever; the entrance has been locked. You will never find the switch to activate the wormhole." 0

Afterward, no matter how Kairuot asked, the officer remained silent, which infuriated Xiaoli. She stepped forward intending to punch him out of frustration but was stopped by Kairuot grabbing her wrist. 0

Kairuot fiddled around in the Wormhole Chamber for a while but still couldn't find the switch to activate the wormhole. As time passed, he began to lose confidence. The officer saw this and laughed heartily: "You might as well surrender; there may still be a way out for you." 0

The officer's words truly angered Xiaoli; she slapped him hard across the face: "Who do you think you are? I could kill you anytime!" 0

The struck officer stood there immobilized by pressure points but could still move his hands. He covered his face with his hand, and Kairuot noticed that a light was flashing on the officer's wristband. He quickly approached and removed it from the officer's wrist. The wristband displayed Capricorn Script: "Activate." 0

Kairuot pressed the "Activate" switch, and a hidden switch cover on one of the walls of the Wormhole Chamber opened up. He hurried over to check it out and saw that where the switch was located was a small recessed square. He quickly placed the small square from the officer's necklace into the recess. Within seconds, the Wormhole Chamber began to activate. 0

The wall began to display: "Destination?" 0

Kairuot entered on the wall: "Mars." 0

Then it displayed: "Start button." 0

Kairuot pressed the start button on the wall. Suddenly, they felt their entire bodies shaking in the Wormhole Chamber, accompanied by a deafening roar. The Wormhole Chamber lifted off, carrying the three of them through the wormhole passage towards Mars, soaring into space. 0
