Without the Mars Alliance Headquarters, the boundaries between the various families on Mars lost their mediators, leading to fierce conflicts over land.
The Fair Tribe took advantage of its powerful family influence to encroach upon neighboring smaller tribes, resulting in widespread chaos on Mars. Before long, the territory of the Fair Tribe had nearly divided Mars equally with the Kairo Tribe.
During the era of the Mars Alliance, the Fair Tribe had boundary disputes with the Kairo Tribe, which were mediated multiple times by the Mars Alliance Headquarters, bringing a semblance of peace. However, after the headquarters became virtually nonexistent, disputes reignited. Both tribes resorted to military action over boundary issues, with each side experiencing victories and defeats. Yet, due to external threats, a brief calm was restored. However, when Kairo Tribe forces occupied the Mars Alliance Headquarters, it ignited years of resentment within the Fair Tribe, leading to an outbreak of conflict. They prepared not only to protest but also to launch a surprise attack on the Stellar Mountain Golden Tower Base.
That night, under cover of darkness, the first three Mecha Battalions of the Fair Tribe stealthily flew low over the sea. The massive fleet aimed to evade detection by the Kairo Tribe's radar and launch a long-range surprise attack on the Stellar Mountain Golden Tower Base.
However, their actions were still detected by Kairo Tribe's early warning radar. To annihilate these three Mecha Battalions, Kairuoka ordered all units to hold their positions and wait for an opportunity to strike once they were all within a pocketed area.
The three Mecha Battalions of the Fair Tribe approached the Stellar Mountain Golden Tower Base like locusts rising from the sea, darkening the sky with their numbers and seemingly ready to flatten Ghost Star Mountain. They were determined to achieve victory.
Yet, as they entered the coastal area near Ghost Star Mountain, they realized they had already stepped into an ambush set by the Kairo Tribe.
Thousands of anti-air missiles whistled through the air, catching the advancing Fair Tribe mechs off guard. Before they even knew where the missiles were coming from, they had already lost more than half of their mechs.
The Kairo Tribe's most advanced anti-air missiles struck down what was claimed to be the hardest mechs in existence from the Fair Tribe. Those mechs that weren't hit began retaliating based on their instruments' readings towards the direction of incoming missiles.
Then came a second wave of missile attacks, this time launched from the sea—an unexpected move that decimated another large portion of Fair Tribe mechs. The remaining few dozen mechs flailed about in confusion like headless flies in the air.
At this moment, the Mecha Battalion from the Stellar Mountain Golden Tower Base appeared, not giving the opposing side any chance to breathe. They were all equipped with the latest Missiles, specifically designed to counter the newest mechs of the Fair Tribe—the Kairo Tribe—using Wolf Pack Tactics effectively. The Fair Tribe's mechs were left in a state of disarray, with virtually no opportunity to fight back. In the end, only a few mechs managed to escape by luck, fleeing from the ambush circle.
The Kairo Tribe achieved a flawless victory, nearly annihilating three of the Fair Tribe's latest Mecha Battalions without any casualties.
When the returning Mecha Battalion commander reported to Marshal Feilbolai, he said, "We fell for the Kairo Tribe's trap; their air defense units had already set up an ambush there, along with submarines waiting underwater for us to enter the ambush zone. As soon as our mechs entered the coastal area, we were hit by thousands of Missiles, with no way to evade them. Their Missiles are the latest model, specifically tailored for our mechs. We hadn't even engaged in combat yet and had already lost over half of our forces. They have thoroughly studied our tactics and maximized their strengths without deploying their mechs for a direct confrontation..."
"Alright, alright." Feilbolai was already impatient after hearing this; he waved his hand and said, "You can leave now. I'll report this matter to the chief."
This was the most severe loss the Fair Tribe had ever experienced. Almost all of those sent by Feilbolai were elites from the Fair Tribe. He had intended to use three advanced Mecha Battalions to launch a surprise attack on a squad at Stellar Mountain Golden Tower Base, believing he had more than enough manpower, yet it turned out so disastrous—he ended up losing more than he gained.
It is worth noting that regarding this surprise attack, Feilbolai's father, Felix, had been firmly opposed. He believed that confronting the powerful Kairo Tribe was not timely.
Feilbolai did not care about his father's approval and acted unilaterally. In this universe, encountering Kairuot was his misfortune; this person seemed to be a destined nemesis, haunting him relentlessly. Without Kairuot, Fairleya would not reject him. During this time, Belche had been staying on Capricorn Planet, and the control over Feilbolai had lessened, allowing him to intermittently recall some memories of his past. He felt that he had once loved Fairleya deeply; how could he suddenly lose interest in her? An inexplicable feeling kept surfacing in his mind. If it weren't for the civil unrest on Mars and being preoccupied with war, perhaps he could remember more clearly. The appearance of Small Grove seemed to trigger something in Feilbolai.
