"Belche's words made Feilbolai break out in a cold sweat. Feilbolai quickly said, 'Don't do that. If you destroy Mars, where will we Fair Tribe live?'
'The universe is vast; you won't have trouble finding a place to live,' Belche replied. 'You Fair Tribe are nomads anyway, so just continue being nomads. You will eventually find a planet suitable for you. At worst, I can take you to Earth; it's a place where you can live comfortably.'
Feilbolai asked, 'Earth? That's a place for imprisoning interstellar criminals and exiling inferior races...'
Belche reassured him, 'Yes! Earth! If you go there, you'll be among the highest IQ races! We Capricornian have already established a base there and rule over Earthlings. How carefree is that? Trust me, you Fair Tribe will not suffer by following us.'
'The urgent matter is how to deal with the Mars United Government Forces' attack,' Feilbolai said anxiously. 'They have already begun a full-scale assault on us, and our troops may not hold out much longer.'
Belche told him, 'Don't worry; I have already ordered our troops to reinforce you. They should be arriving soon.'
Just as Belche said, large numbers of Capricornian troops began to occupy important bases of the Fair Tribe.
The arrival of the Capricornian troops instilled fear and dissatisfaction among the Fair People. Although Belche controlled Feilbolai and his ministers, he could not control most of the officers and soldiers of the Fair Tribe. Upon seeing the Capricornian troops occupying their bases, these officers and soldiers protested, demanding that the Capricornian withdraw from the bases—they would rather be incorporated into the Mars United Government than have Capricornian interference in their Martian affairs.
Belche dismissed several officers over this matter, thinking the storm would pass, but it only escalated further, leading to protests from all Fair People. Demonstrations against the alien invasion erupted in major cities of the Fair Tribe.
Seeing this situation, the Mars United Government Forces also halted their attack, constructing fortifications on the spot and launching a propaganda campaign against the Fair People, making them feel that the military aggression by the Mars United Government was caused by Capricornian intervention.
Under multiple pressures, Feilbolai sought Belche's counsel. He said, 'We need to listen to the people's voices. Can we send someone to negotiate with the Mars United Government to temporarily relieve some pressure? Otherwise, if this continues, we are really finished.'
'Hahaha...' Belche laughed heartily. 'What do the people's voices matter? They are all low IQ; there's no need to fear them. Just give them some sweeteners when the time comes, and everything will be resolved.'"
Feilbolai asked, "What do we do now?"
Belche suggested, saying, "You should continue to explain to the media why you need our support. It is because the Fair Tribe is at a critical juncture, facing two paths: one is to unite with the powerful Capricornian to resist the Mars United Government, and the other is to choose the Fair People and face mutual destruction with Mars. If the Mars United Government dares to continue invading the territory of the Fair Tribe, making it impossible for us to survive, the Fair Tribe will activate nuclear devices to destroy Mars, leading to mutual destruction. With nuclear weapons in hand, the Mars United Government will not dare to act against you."
Following Belche's advice, Feilbolai issued a statement to the Martians through the media. However, it backfired and incited public outrage among the Fair Tribe citizens. They accused their leader Feilbolai of betraying their nation for personal gain, jeopardizing the interests of the Martians, and threatening their survival. They strongly demanded to join the Mars United Government to achieve unity on Mars and solidarity among all ethnic groups, sending representatives to negotiate with their leader.
Under pressure from the public, Feilbolai agreed to meet face-to-face with the People's Representative.
-
Leading the People's Representative was Falkon Xiong, the brother of Fair Connie.
As soon as he entered the assembly hall, he scolded Feilbolai: "What’s wrong with the Mars United Government? Why do you have to oppose them? The chairman of the United Government is my sister; do you think she would harm our Fair Tribe? You must be blind if you can't tell good from bad! Our ancestors fought against the Capricornian for a lifetime; my father was killed by them. They came to Mars not to help us but to destroy Mars's unity and development. How can you not see this?"
The other People's Representatives chimed in with their opinions, all strongly demanding that the Capricornian leave Mars. They insisted that internal matters of the Martians should not be interfered with by outsiders. The arguments left Feilbolai unable to refute them; he could only nod repeatedly, which made Belche, who was secretly observing from behind the scenes, anxious and inwardly curse Feilbolai for being an idiot who couldn't handle a few troublesome citizens.
Thus, Belche stepped out from behind and sat down next to Feilbolai, wearing a friendly smile as he addressed the People's Representatives: "Everyone, please don't misunderstand. The arrival of the Capricornian troops here is indeed meant to help you. Have you considered that thousands of years ago we were one family? Back then, the Bel Tribe and the Fair Tribe were close neighbors who supported each other well; it was only later that external influences caused us to part ways. We, the Capricornian, have no ill intentions in coming to Mars; we genuinely want to help you."
"You want to help us?..." Falkon shook his head and said, "Who are you?"
Feilbolai quickly introduced him: "This is Capricorn Star King Belche."
Upon hearing that this smiling man was indeed Belche, Falkon Xiong could not suppress his inner hatred. In a fit of rage, he picked up a teacup from the table and hurled it at Belche, shouting angrily, "You scoundrel! How dare you come to Mars! You must pay for my father's life!"
Belche quickly dodged and shouted, "Guards! Arrest these troublemaking commoners who have intruded into the Leader's Residence!"
Dozens of guards from the Leader's Residence rushed in, surrounding the representatives. Falkon Xiong laughed loudly, "Leader! Is this how you treat your subjects? Our Fair Tribe is doomed; this is heaven's punishment for us!"
Feilbolai looked helpless and waved his hand, instructing the guards to take the People's Representative away. The other representatives were indignant, cursing the leader for not being fair and allowing the aliens to succeed, leading to a scuffle with the Guards, causing chaos in the hall.
Belche drew his pistol from his waist and fired a few shots into the air, loudly declaring, "Anyone who dares to resist will be Kill Without Mercy!"
The hall fell silent for a moment.
Falkon Xiong was taken aback but could not suppress his inner rage, continuing to shout, "If you want to kill, then kill! Who are you trying to intimidate?! An outsider dares to run rampant in our tribe; aren't you afraid our people will tear you apart?"
Belche was never soft-hearted when it came to killing. He aimed his gun at Falkon Xiong's chest and fired, instantly knocking him to the ground. He grinned maliciously at the other representatives and said, "Is there anyone else who is tired of living? Speak up; I guarantee I will fulfill their request!"
None of the People's Representatives dared to speak; they were silently taken away by the guards, and Falkon Xiong was also carried out of the conference hall.
