The death of Falkon Xiong ignited strong dissatisfaction among the people of Fair Tribe, who unanimously demanded punishment for the Killer and sought revenge for the deceased. Fair City erupted in large-scale protests, and the situation was evidently more severe than Belche had anticipated.
Fair Connie learned that his brother had been killed by Belche, and old grievances surged alongside new ones. He immediately summoned Kairuot, demanding that he take advantage of the current turmoil in Fair Tribe to send a Special Forces unit to infiltrate Fair Capital and assassinate Belche.
Kairuot complied with his mother's wishes, selecting elite operatives from various Combined Arms Groups. After several days of training and coordination, this twenty-member team prepared to infiltrate Fair City under the cover of night following a fierce artillery barrage from the main forces.
A barrage of shells rained down on the alien base in Fair City from four directions, turning the entire area into a sea of flames. The troops stationed in Fair City responded only with sporadic fire as a symbolic gesture, forcing Belche to call for retaliation from the Capricorn Mother Ship.
Fair City is located in Antarctica on Mars Planet, bordered to the east by a small town belonging to the Rochester Clan and to the west by the Western Rong Tribe, which has also joined the Mars United Government. The forces of Mars United Government quickly launched a pincer attack from both the east and west, swiftly cutting off access to Fair City. Except for one side facing Fair Mountain and Fair River at the southernmost point of Mars, they surrounded Fair City on three sides and blocked access to Feir River, leaving the entire Fair City encircled.
Faced with numerous fortifications constructed around Fair City, the Mars United Government Forces did not launch a direct assault but instead conducted long-range attacks on the troops of Fair Tribe.
Both sides exchanged fire for over an hour, illuminating the sky above Fair City as if it were daytime. The Mars United Government simultaneously activated multiple large Command Ships to implement strong Electronic Interference over the entire airspace of Fair Tribe, rendering all communications and Radar detection equipment in Fair City inoperative. The Capricorn Mother Ship stationed in outer space around Mars could no longer establish contact with the military in Fair City and sensed that the forces of Mars United Government were about to launch a full-scale attack on Fair Tribe. They could only blindly fire missiles at the positions of the Martian attacking forces.
Kairuot's Special Forces were preparing for action aboard a Command Ship when Xiaoli rushed in. She was also dressed in Mars United Government Special Forces attire, wearing a helmet, with a belt full of missiles, slung with laser rifles, and carrying a Laser Cannon while shouting for the commander of the Command Ship to open the hatch.
The commander hesitated to open the door for an unidentified individual and had no choice but to consult Captain Kairuot through communication.
Kairuot reluctantly agreed to Xiaoli's request after seeing her via video communication. Thus, the Special Forces team grew to twenty-one members.
Under cover of night, the Command Ship flew over Fair Mountain on the outskirts of Fair City, where the Special Forces members descended.
Fair Mountain is located south of Fair City and is the largest and highest mountain within Fair Tribe's territory. The Special Forces chose this location for landing due to its high elevation and dense forest, which would facilitate their offensive and defensive operations. This mountain is separated from Fair City by a wide Feir River; due to its width and swift currents combined with steep terrain and numerous wild beasts, very few Fair People dare venture to its summit. The mountain resembles a primeval forest with virtually no paths.
Kairuot led his Special Forces members through dense woods without paths on Fair Mountain. Relying on his Sixth Sense perception, he discovered a cave on the mountain that would serve as an excellent resting and hiding place for them. He guided everyone along a rather difficult trail until they reached the cave entrance.
The entrance was concealed by thick underbrush and branches, making it nearly impossible for an ordinary person to find.
Clearing away the weeds and branches at the entrance is a narrow passage that only one person can enter at a time.
Although the inside of the cave is pitch black, with hands unable to see five fingers in front, the Special Forces members all have night vision and do not need to turn on the searchlights above their heads. They navigated through the winding passage for a long distance and finally arrived at a larger cave. Kairuot immediately signaled everyone to spread out. Xiaoli also noticed something unusual about this cave, as if someone had been there before. The cave showed signs of being artificially carved, and it was very clean inside.
Suddenly, a figure rushed towards Kairuot with incredible speed. If Kairuot had not been alert and quickly dodged, the opponent might have succeeded in a surprise attack.
Xiaoli aimed her Laser Gun at the attacker, ready to fire, but Kairuot shouted, "Everyone, don’t shoot!"
As he spoke, he used his arm to block a series of rapid punches from the attacker. Although Kairuot managed to fend off the opponent's assault, several punches still struck his chest. If he hadn't retreated in time, those punches would have knocked him down. The two sides exchanged blows for over ten rounds.
Watching from the side, Xiaoli noticed that the attacker had white hair and a familiar face that resembled her father's. She suddenly shouted, "You are my uncle, Belhu."
Hearing Xiaoli call him, the attacker quickly stopped his assault and turned to examine Xiaoli from head to toe. He said, "You are my brother's daughter, named... Belri... Yes, you are my brother's precious daughter Belri."
Xiaoli ran forward in excitement and hugged her uncle. "Uncle, it's me, Xiaoli!"
After the embrace, her uncle looked at Xiaoli closely. "I didn't expect you to grow up so much; you've become a beautiful young lady."
"I’m already married," Xiaoli said as she pointed to Kairuot. "This is my husband, Kairuot."
Xiaoli said to Kairuot, "Brother Kairuot, come meet my uncle."
Kairuot politely stepped forward to greet him.
Belhu looked at the tall and handsome Kairuot and praised him: "Not bad; my niece has good taste in finding such a handsome guy with impressive martial arts skills. No wonder you can use Bel Fist."
"Please excuse me," Kairuot humbly replied. "It’s still your quick punches that are extraordinary; I almost couldn’t handle them."
"Uncle..." Xiaoli asked curiously, "What are you doing alone in this strange cave?"
The uncle told her, "It was Bel Grandfather who asked me to prepare the construction base here. Our machines have dug many tunnels in this cave, but when we were about to install the equipment, the transport mecha carrying the machines was shot down by Fair Tribe's air defense forces. The plan fell through; this mountain is too close to Fair City, making it difficult to build a base. Great-Great-Grandfather had no choice but to seal off the tunnel leading to Fair City and asked me to stay here alone, waiting for the right opportunity."
Xiao Li nodded silently and said, "So that's how it is."
Kairuot asked the uncle, "Can this lead to Fair City?"
The uncle replied, "Yes."
Kairuot continued asking, "Can it lead to Fair Clan Leader's Mansion?"
"Well... since the tunnel has been sealed, I have never walked through it, but it should be able to reach Leader's Residence."
Xiao Li happily said, "That's great! With this tunnel, it won't be difficult for us to enter Fair Tribe's Leader's Residence."
"Uncle, now that it's quiet at night, it's the perfect time to launch a surprise attack on Fair Clan Leader's Mansion. Let's set off immediately; please open the tunnel door leading to Leader's Residence for us."
The uncle then activated the long-sealed tunnel switch, and one by one, the sealed tunnel doors were opened. The uncle instructed Xiao Li and all of Kairuot's Special Forces Member to register their fingerprints. After Xiao Li used her finger to unlock the first tunnel door leading to Fair Clan Leader's Mansion, he excitedly said:
"After guarding this place for decades, today this base finally comes in handy. Good luck to you all!"
Kairuot led his Special Forces Member, following the uncle's instructions, into the long tunnel.
