Entering the cabin, the group arrived at the control center of the Command Ship. A greater surprise appeared before Fair Connie—suddenly, a voice from the control center called out to her: "Hey, kid!"
This was a nickname that Kairuoka often used for her, but it didn't sound like Kairuoka's voice. She looked around and saw no one calling her. As she searched for the source of the voice, it came again from the speaker: "Kid, you don't recognize me anymore? I'm Kairuoka."
"Where are you?" Fair Connie asked anxiously.
Kairuoka replied, "You're all inside my body."
Fair Connie couldn't believe her ears: "You placed your soul in this Command Ship? No way!"
"Did you forget?" Kairuoka said, "I once told you that if my physical body disappeared, I would place my soul in the mech that I devoted my life to, to fight alongside our warriors and protect you and our homeland."
The kid nodded: "I thought you were joking back then..."
Kairuoka told her, "This mech is the culmination of my life's work. I spent countless days and nights with the researchers at the base, and it's finally coming to fruition."
"No wonder I haven't seen you for a while," the kid said, then shifted her tone and asked through gritted teeth, "Who exactly killed you?"
Kairuoka sighed: "Sigh, it was my own brother Kailong. He has always coveted my position as leader."
"Your skills are above his; how could he easily harm you?"
"It's my fault for being too careless and not heeding your warnings. I never expected he colluded with Maid Kairou Marie to drug me in my tea, causing me to be poisoned... I was completely weak. Just like that, I was easily defeated by Kailong. He tried to use the Soul Absorption Technique to absorb my soul; if it weren't for my strong energy shield, my soul would have been destroyed by him."

Upon hearing the latter part of the statement, Xiao Li quickly asked, "Great-Great-Grandfather what happened?"

Kairuoka told her, "I am familiar with everything in the base, so finding my way here wasn't difficult. It just took me quite a while to get into this mech. I've been considering how to use the base to deal with Kailong."
Fair Connie said, "With you in charge, I can trust you and Xiao Li with this base. Ever since Kailong established Kairo Nation, Mars has fallen into chaos. The Fair Tribe has declared independence, and the Rochester Clan is also stirring. If it weren't for the United Government holding absolute military power, it would have collapsed long ago, and many independent nations would have emerged overnight on Mars."
"Don't be so pessimistic; a few clowns are easy to handle. Since the chaos started with Kairo Tribe, we should take action against Kailong. Let's lead the charge from Mars Base and reclaim Kairo City."

Kairuoka said while thinking, "He must be trapped in Kairo Mansion, because if the location is too far or unfamiliar, Terra will become suspicious and won't go there. Only by setting the trap inside Kairo Mansion can Kailong have a chance to deceive him. We need to find a way to rescue him from Kairo Mansion."

Kairou Marie felt very guilty about Kairuoka's death, and since then she has been on guard against Kailong at all times—
She recalled the day when Kailong handed her a packet of powder and asked her to put it in the leader's teacup. She hesitated at that moment; if it weren't for Kailong mentioning how she had previously drugged Kairuot, she would rather die than harm the leader... After seizing power, Kailong appointed Kairou Marie as the steward of the Leader's Residence, which made her feel even more guilty. Initially, she wanted to quit her job, but later she heard from her subordinate, a Maid, that the leader's son was locked in a room next to the main hall. She changed her mind and decided to use her new authority as steward to find a way to rescue Terra.
Through her inquiries and observations, Kairou Marie confirmed that the room where Terra was imprisoned was a Side Room next to the main hall, which had once been used by the leader for training. It was quite spacious inside. To imprison Kairuot, Kailong specifically had people transform it into an airtight metal room. Although it looked like before from the outside, it was actually constructed entirely of special metal inside. Ordinary high-strength Nuclear Bombs would have no effect on the room, so no matter how powerful Kairuot's internal skills were, he could not open the door inside. The key to the room was not electronically controlled but specially made; it used mechanical interlocking locks. If someone tried to pry open the door from outside, they would only tighten it further until they could not open it at all.
The key was always with Kailong, who carried it with him at all times; no one could take it from him. After preparing the key, Kairou Marie secretly took it to try on the door where Kairuot was held; although the key fit, it wouldn't turn and could not open that door. She had no choice but to wait for another opportunity to steal the real key from Kailong.
