After putting down their luggage, Emma wanted to see the sunset by the sea, so Bai Yujing and Emma went together to Nester Point Lighthouse to watch the sunset. The lighthouse was located in a very remote area. Although Emma knew about it, she had never been there before, so she asked two Spanish tourists passing by for directions.
This was the westernmost point of Sky Island, where the continent made its final stretch before sinking into the sea. At the end of the rocks stood a lighthouse marking their boundary. On top of the coastal cliffs stood a white lighthouse, with a winding highway leading directly to it. The surroundings were very desolate, filled with cliffs and steep walls. Climbing up the tower, they could see the fiery red sky reflected in the sea, dyeing the horizon a deep red.
Standing at the edge of this island and gazing at the boundless ocean, Bai Yujing suddenly felt as if he had arrived at the end of the world.
"Are we watching the sunset at the end of the world?" Bai Yujing said, holding Emma. Even though he wasn't particularly sentimental, he felt an overwhelming sense of romance at that moment.
Emma stood on her tiptoes, wrapping her arms around Bai Yujing's neck, feeling quite emotional. Bai Yujing even sensed her hands trying to slip under his clothes. "Thank you for coming to watch the sunset with me."
"It seems like this is our second time watching a sunset together," Bai Yujing suddenly recalled their previous experience at Carlton Hill and encountering those two unfortunate drunks. It seemed that girls couldn't resist such romantic moments.
Emma leaned in for a kiss, and Bai Yujing held her against the wall. Behind them was a sheer cliff where countless seabirds nested below. The waves under the sunset appeared particularly turbulent, crashing against the cliffs and creating a tremendous roar. In the infinite silence of their surroundings, it felt as if a mysterious force was stirring between heaven and earth, making their hearts race.
After watching the sunset, they didn't leave immediately. Outside the lighthouse, using the fading light of dusk, Emma and Bai Yujing studied the exact location mentioned in her diary. Bai Yujing concentrated on gathering information from the diary while Emma drew and wrote on a map of Sky Island. They finally pinpointed it to a street in Kailijin Town, and Emma immediately circled it.
"This should be it! When we get there, we can ask people nearby where the Hackman Family used to live; someone should know," Emma said with a sense of accomplishment after completing this task.
Bai Yujing immediately kissed Emma on the cheek: "You are my think tank!"
By the time they returned to their hotel, it was already dark. The inn Bai Yujing booked felt different from regular hotels; it resembled more of a bed-and-breakfast and had a much cozier atmosphere compared to tall buildings. However, upon entering, they were instantly amazed.
The unassuming exterior of this inn belied its luxurious interior decor. It featured a restaurant, bar, conference room, and massage room. The front desk informed Bai Yujing that there was also a golf course outside. Bai Yujing had only played golf once with his boss and wasn't very skilled but thought it might be worth trying when he had some free time.
"How about trying out a spa?"
Bai Yujing's proposal was quickly approved by Emma. Both of them were adventurous and willing to try new things. After choosing a beauty therapist, they opted for a private room to experience the treatment together. Of course, this was a relatively formal establishment, but Bai Yujing had never tried anything informal before. Usually, in China, Bai Yujing would just have meals, drinks, karaoke, or visit bars with colleagues and classmates, leading a rather monotonous leisure life. This was the first time trying activities like spa and foot massages.
After changing into their robes, Bai Yujing and Emma were almost bare except for towels wrapped around them. Looking at Emma's outfit, Bai Yujing felt a sudden stirring below and took a few deep breaths to suppress the impulse.
Emma immediately noticed this movement and provocatively beckoned Bai Yujing with her finger. If it weren't for the inappropriate setting, Bai Yujing would have wanted to take immediate action. The lighting in the room was soft, accompanied by relaxing music.
Once they were ready, two professional female therapists began to work on them. After a long day, Bai Yujing felt that his bones were quite stiff. As the therapist worked on him, his muscles began to loosen up, allowing his body to relax significantly.
Later on, Bai Yujing felt drowsy; the lighting and music seemed to have a hypnotic effect. With the therapist's techniques, he relaxed his body and allowed her to apply essential oils all over him. He could smell a natural floral fragrance.
Glancing at Emma beside him, she also appeared to be enjoying herself. With the light shining on her, Bai Yujing could clearly see Emma's body curves: her perky breasts pressed into an oval shape, her toned waist and chest, along with the roundness concealed beneath her towel and her long legs.
With the application of essential oils, her skin radiated a smooth and fair glow. Bai Yujing felt he couldn't look any longer; if he did, he might embarrass himself in front of the two therapists. This was a formal place after all; he needed to maintain decorum.
When they emerged from the treatment room, both felt rejuvenated as all their fatigue had vanished. It felt as if their bones and muscles were filled with strength. Given this newfound energy, Bai Yujing thought it was time to seize the moment and pursue Emma.
He immediately grabbed Emma and jogged back to their room. However, what Bai Yujing didn't consider was that he wasn't the only one feeling energized.

Early in the morning after breakfast, Bai Yujing and Emma drove towards Cairnryan. Emma sat in the passenger seat with a rosy complexion; her skin seemed to radiate a glow. Meanwhile, Bai Yujing lazily drove along the highway, lacking energy.
Last night had exhausted him; he felt like an overworked ox. Bai Yujing decided that if he earned points from this experience, he would first strengthen his physique. His appearance was sufficient for now; improving his figure could be achieved through exercise. Strengthening his physical condition was essential—after all, as the saying goes, health is the foundation of revolution. The revolutionary predecessors were indeed Old Drivers; their words were full of wisdom.
Since their accommodation was quite far from Cairnryan, they drove for some time before finally reaching their destination. Walking along the street, various houses lined both sides—some were standalone while others directly faced the street.
Walking and stopping, Bai Yujing and Emma finally came to a halt. They were on an old street in Cairnryan, where the buildings looked quite aged.
Emma took out a map and looked around. "According to the diary, it should be here. There might be some discrepancies, but the direction should be correct; it should be in this area."
As they drove forward, they happened to see a passerby who looked light and casual, very much like a local. He was a middle-aged man with thinning hair and a bit of a belly. "Hi, can I ask you a question?"
The seemingly relaxed passerby nodded. "Sure!"
Bai Yujing immediately said, "We're here looking for a Mr. Will Hackman. Do you know if someone by that name or the surname Huckman lives around here?"
The passerby thought for a moment and shook his head. "I don't live in Cairnryan, but if you need help, there's a newsstand up ahead. The owner is named Duncan; he should know something."
After thanking the passerby, Bai Yujing returned to the car and shared his findings with Emma. They continued driving and soon spotted a newsstand, where a tall, thin elderly man was standing guard. Bai Yujing sought his assistance.
"You mean Old Hackman! Of course I know him. Just take the road ahead and turn left; he lives in the white house up there. There's a black car parked in the yard, but I don't know if he's home."
Bai Yujing did not expect that coming here would not only lead them to an address but also allow them to meet the owner of the diary. He immediately shared this news with Emma, who was also thrilled.
Bai Yujing said, "I didn't expect the owner of the diary to still be alive; he should be in his sixties or seventies."
Emma nodded. "According to the diary, he should be sixty-two years old; he must still be around. I just didn't expect him to still live here."
Eagerly following the directions, they found the place. Bai Yujing got out of the car and looked into the yard. Sure enough, there was an old black Jeep parked inside, along with a white BMW. The cars were not driven out, indicating that the owner was likely still home.
"Emma, bring the diary," Bai Yujing instructed her before calling out towards the yard as he pushed open the gate.
"Hello, is anyone there?"
"Is anyone there?"
The two of them walked inside together, looking around until they reached the door, which suddenly swung open. A little boy holding a toy car appeared. "Hello, who are you looking for?"
"I'm looking for Mr. Hackman." The little boy was very cute, and Bai Yujing squatted down to talk to him.
The little boy nodded. "We have many Mr. Hackmans in our house; I'm also Mr. Hackman."
"Okay, we're looking for Mr. Will Hackman." Bai Yujing shrugged.
The little boy immediately shouted into the house, "Grandpa, someone is looking for you."
Three people walked out of the room right away: an elderly man and a couple. After saying goodbye to the elderly man, the couple took the little boy and left in their car, nodding at Bai Yujing and Emma as they passed.
The elderly man was tall and somewhat plump, but he looked very kind, sporting a full beard that made him resemble Santa Claus.
"Hello, I am Will Hackman. What can I do for you?"
It was Emma who spoke. She stepped forward and handed over the diary. "We came here based on this diary!"
