When Bai Yujing emerged from the dungeon of Deng Weigen Castle, he felt a chill throughout his body. It must be said that dungeons are inherently filled with a gloomy atmosphere; entering one makes a person feel a coldness surge within. This ancient place, steeped in centuries of history, was even more so. No one knew how many Undead and unwilling dead were trapped inside, and walking through it, one could almost hear their resentful and mournful cries.
Bai Yujing could hardly wait to leave the castle. Outside, there was indeed a different scene: a lush private garden that instantly broadened his horizons. However, he did gain something from the dungeon. On one of the stone walls in the dungeon, there were densely packed tiny characters etched into it. The dungeon was extremely dim, so Bai Yujing had to break the rules and turn on his flashlight to take a sneaky photo.
“How did it turn out? Did you get a clear shot?” Bai Yujing's discovery was related to Emma; she was the one who first noticed the writing on the narrow inner side of the stone wall, which led Bai Yujing to pinpoint the location.
After walking away, Bai Yujing and Emma huddled together to look at the phone. They found that the characters on the wall had become somewhat blurred and difficult to recognize after so many years. “It seems to be Lilliputian Language, and there are some strange symbols below it. The wear is too severe; we’ll probably need to go back and use a computer to enhance these characters for better clarity before we can identify them.”
“Yay, this is really great! I didn’t expect we’d actually find something. Let’s explore around a bit! Since the McLeod Family is connected to Legendary Land and Sky Island, Lemuel Gulliver likely buried his belongings nearby. Let’s follow up and search for them,” Emma said with renewed enthusiasm.
Deng Weigen Castle was built on a high hill, surrounded by vast marshlands. A gentle stream flowed from afar, converging into a lake. The lawns within the castle were neatly trimmed, with tranquil paths, tall trees, and various blooming flowers creating a beautiful garden.
Along the way, they could see well-trimmed flowerbeds arranged in various shapes. Occasionally, they spotted travelers resting on wooden benches by the path. In the garden, Bai Yujing also saw a stone sundial, an ancient timekeeping tool that differed from those used in ancient China.
All around were lush primeval forests; while the trees weren't particularly thick, they towered into the clouds, completely blocking out the sky above and leaving only scattered sunlight filtering down to the ground, casting colorful shadows. As Bai Yujing and Emma passed through, they came across a wooden bridge. The scenery wasn’t particularly exquisite or rare but was rather pleasant and comforting.
After taking a long detour around Deng Weigen Castle and observing its surroundings—marshes, lakes, and Mountain Valley—Bai Yujing even climbed to a higher vantage point to survey the area but still couldn’t find what he was looking for. With more comparisons made, Bai Yujing and Emma had nearly imprinted the scenes from their notes deeply in their minds; if they saw it again, they would surely recognize it at first glance. It could only be said that the location was truly not here.
In a restaurant next to Deng Weigen Castle, Emma vigorously cut into her black pepper steak with her fork and knife, gritting her teeth. “Why can’t this Lemuel Gulliver just tell us where it is? He leaves behind this tiny Mountain Valley drawing—how is that supposed to be easy to find? This Lemuel Gulliver must be an exceptionally nasty pervert.”
Bai Yujing could only soothe her by saying, “Only success after enduring hardships brings greater satisfaction. Without challenges leading to victory, wouldn’t an easy outcome diminish our great triumph?”
Emma stabbed her fork into her plate with a clatter and then lifted up the overcooked steak. “I hate trouble! If I ever meet this Lemuel Gulliver, I’ll definitely give him a good beating.”
Bai Yujing replied irritably, “Then you’ll only meet his Undead! Alright, don’t be angry; relax a bit. Later we’ll go see Seal.”
Deng Weigen Castle There is a dock here, and the Seal speedboat program departs from here to Deng Weigen Lake to observe the Seal. After ensuring safety precautions, the Guide drove the speedboat out.
The surface of the lake was rippling, and the speedboat's rapid advance created a white wake behind it, leaving a long trail. The Seal is a resident of Sky Island, and they can be seen in many places. A large number of them live here, feeding and socializing.
Sure enough, not long after, they spotted them on a rocky outcrop. These were gray-furred creatures with black spots on their bodies. The Guide told Bai Yujing that this was their camouflage color. Looking over, Bai Yujing noticed that as they lay on the rocks, they really did resemble pieces of stone, making it hard to distinguish them from a distance. Bai Yujing knew that many animals had protective coloration but did not expect that these Seal did as well.
These creatures had round eyes and long whiskers, bouncing around as they moved, which was quite amusing. The Seal seemed accustomed to the nearby boats; when they saw Bai Yujing and the others approaching in the speedboat, they remained still, except for one curious young Seal that hopped around a bit, observing Bai Yujing and the others with its curious eyes.
The speedboat took Bai Yujing on a large circle around Deng Weigen Lake. Whenever they reached an area with Seal, they would slow down to allow everyone to take photos and watch. These creatures displayed an extraordinary calmness, showing no signs of disturbance or even smiling.
"Do these Seal have names?" Bai Yujing asked Emma, noting that they were quite different from the Seal seen in aquariums. The ones previously seen were either completely white or completely black. In terms of appearance, those were far more appealing than the ones here—cute and obedient, always coming up to people—unlike these aloof creatures that didn't look impressive at all.
Emma was very familiar with Seal, immediately telling Bai Yujing that this type of Seal is called "common seals."
Translated, it means common Seal. A line of frustration crossed Bai Yujing's face: "Don't they have any other name?"
Thinking Emma might not know the species name due to its commonality, she was surprised when Emma explained that this was indeed its species name. Well, what can I say? Foreigners are quite lazy with names; they just call it common Seal. However, later on, Bai Yujing learned that this type of Seal is also referred to as a Harbor Seal in her country.
After enjoying the sea breeze and taking a stylish spin around the lake, it must be said that riding this kind of speedboat was indeed thrilling. If only Bai Yujing could take the wheel herself!
Suddenly remembering that Emma had mentioned teaching her how to sail earlier, after just running around the lake once, she felt motivated and asked Emma about it.
Emma pondered for a moment while tapping her chin: "Alright, but we need to find what Lemuel Gulliver left behind first! I must locate them!"
Emma seemed determined to confront Lemuel Gulliver, but Bai Yujing would not give up on searching either. After all, among what Lemuel Gulliver left behind was a map indicating the location of the Lilliput Kingdom, along with instructions on how to get there—worth eighty points!
After finishing Seal, the two drove around for a while but found nothing of interest. They decided to head back to the hotel, as they had yet to digest the findings from the dungeon in Deng Weigen Castle. Bai Yujing and Emma planned to analyze the contents as soon as possible to see if there were any records about Sky Island. This way, even if they couldn't find anything left by Lemuel Gulliver, they could still go there.
Emma was very invested in this matter. In their hotel room, Bai Yujing opened his computer and uploaded the images. He turned to Emma and asked, "If we really find the legendary Sky Island, would you really want to go up there?"
Emma immediately replied, "Of course! This is so cool, isn't it? That's the legendary Celestial Kingdom, an island floating in the sky. I suspect it might be another world. Plus, I promised Alice that I would help them. I think sending them back to Lilliput would be the greatest help. You'll come with me, right?"
Bai Yujing nodded, "Of course, I also want to see what a fantastical world floating in the sky is like."
Emma suddenly became emotional, leaping into Bai Yujing's arms, sitting on him and kissing him. "You are just too wonderful."

"Got it! But what's that down there? It's poking me!" Emma had just seriously agreed when she teasingly licked her lips and grabbed the object pressing against her.
Bai Yujing could no longer hold back; he embraced Emma and tossed her onto the bed. "You little fairy, today I'm going to show you what’s what!"
