This is a giant beast with blue skin, its massive body lying across the surface of the river. A long neck rises above the water, and a row of sharp spines runs along its back. Its long tail sways, creating ripples on the water's surface. Bai Yujing has to look up to see its lower jaw; its neck alone is six or seven meters high. Inside its mouth are jagged fangs, and a bright red tongue flicks in and out, dripping thick saliva onto Bai Yujing.
At this moment, Bai Yujing is drenched in cold sweat. The appearance of such a massive ancient beast before him, staring hungrily, sends chills down his spine. As a top predator in the food chain, it floats motionless on the water's surface, exuding an aura that is enough to instill fear.

The giant beast appears somewhat angry; however, Bai Yujing holds his palm out defensively, and the beast does not dare harm him. Bai Yujing notices that this creature seems intelligent as it twists around while fixating on his staff. Could there be something unusual about his staff? He knew Lemuel Gulliver wouldn't leave behind useless scrap wood.
So it circles around Bai Yujing as he activates the video function on his phone and records horizontally while facing the giant beast. The enormous creature moves through the water, creating small whirlpools around it as it inspects Bai Yujing closely from both sides. Uncertain of its intentions, when Bai Yujing tries to leave, its long neck swiftly stretches across the dock to block his path.
Bai Yujing can only circle around with his phone raised while suddenly sounds emerge from behind him.

A terrified scream rings out from behind, immediately drawing attention from many people nearby. Lights flicker on in surrounding houses as numerous individuals look out their windows and witness this scene: a massive monster towering in the river creates an illusion of blocking its flow. As soon as the lights come on, the giant beast reacts instantly by sinking rapidly beneath the surface towards the bottom, slowly disappearing into the depths of the water without a trace. Most people are still processing their shock when the creature vanishes from sight.
Bai Yujing holds his phone and feels as though what just happened was surreal. What was that thing? The Loch Ness Monster? It seemed dinosaur-like but wasn't a Plesiosaur since much of its body remained hidden below; he couldn't tell if what was submerged were claws or fins. However, its shape was quite different from that of a Plesiosaur; the spines on its back and massive tail showed significant differences.
It seemed to be heading straight for the staff. Bai Yujing was still in shock, yet filled with joy. He never expected that taking a walk at night to ease his insomnia would lead him to such a scene. Looking at the photos he had just taken and the videos he recorded, Bai Yujing repeatedly reviewed them on his way back.
Upon returning to the hotel, Emma was fast asleep. Although Bai Yujing was very excited, he didn't want to disturb her. Lying on the sofa made it even harder for him to sleep. At that moment, Bai Yujing's haters could only stare in disbelief at his Weibo post: "We agreed to eat dirt together; how did you find treasure and discover a monster in the blink of an eye and become famous?"
Wumiao is a gaming streamer whose name is Lukongkong. Usually, she stays at home, watching anime, playing games, and occasionally making videos or live streaming. Lukongkong immediately replied, "It's reliable, absolutely reliable! Don't you trust me? Just take a look at the pictures; who knows, maybe next time we'll catch it."
The other person fell silent for a moment, and it was clear she was feeling exasperated. After a long pause, she finally responded, "Alright then, send it to my email. If I don't understand it, I can consult professionals."
