Bai Yujing sat at the door for half a day, watching Li Hao rush over from behind. Li Hao came out holding Bai Yujing's camera and his own notebook. Bai Yujing looked at him and said with irritation, "Is this the innocent, poor little girl you mentioned? With those skills, she has run around ten laps already, as fast as a monkey, and not even out of breath. She opened my car faster than I could without a key."

This was a good opportunity for her to try it out.
As Lin Ruoqiao charged forward, Bai Yujing made a quick gesture with her hand, extended her leg backward, and pushed with her elbow. Lin Ruoqiao immediately fell to the ground. Bai Yujing didn't expect the girl to react so quickly; Lin Ruoqiao pushed herself up with one hand and kicked at Bai Yujing's knee with the other leg. Bai Yujing quickly lifted her foot to trap Lin Ruoqiao's right leg.
The girl stood up and charged several more times but was gradually forced into a corner by Bai Yujing. Finally, Bai Yujing grabbed one of Lin Ruoqiao's hands and locked it behind her back against the wall. Lin Ruoqiao shouted, "I was wrong! What do you want from me?"
Bai Yujing replied immediately, "It's simple: either you return my car to me, or I take you to the police station and have them help me find it."
Lin Ruoqiao shouted back, "I sold the car! But I can give you all the money! You two big men are bullying a little girl—how shameless!"
"Dealing with someone like you requires strong measures," Bai Yujing said.
"I'll tell you everything! It's in that Repair Shop over there; I just sold it! Take me there, and I'll have them return the car to you." With her hand firmly pinned against the wall, Lin Ruoqiao had no choice but to point in that direction with her other hand.
Bai Yujing loosened her grip on Lin Ruoqiao's hand and took a photo of her with her phone. "If you dare run away, I'll send this photo to the police. You'll get a taste of being wanted, and I'll post your picture on various websites so you can gain some notoriety."
Lin Ruoqiao's face changed dramatically. She had originally planned to slip away as soon as Bai Yujing loosened her grip but now found herself unable to escape. Reluctantly, she walked ahead with Bai Yujing toward the Auto Repair Shop where she had sold the car.
As Bai Yujing dragged Lin Ruoqiao inside, Lin Ruoqiao became anxious out of fear. "Big brother, I really don't want to go in there! I've already violated their rules by telling you about them; they won't let me off easily! If I go in there, I'm finished!"
"You should have been prepared for this when you stole the car. Back then..." Just as Bai Yujing was about to say more, an alarm went off in her mind from the Exotic Creature Hunter System. She paused and looked around before finally noticing something about Lin Ruoqiao.
However, the alarm sounded for a while and then gradually subsided. Bai Yujing looked at Lin Ruoqiao with confusion. Seeing the strange look in Bai Yujing's eyes, Lin Ruoqiao tensed up; could it be that this guy suddenly had other thoughts? Her mood instantly became tense.
Bai Yujing immediately heard the alarm sound again and noticed that a blue mark was slowly appearing on Lin Ruoqiao's right ankle. Suddenly, Bai Yujing's expression changed as he fixed his gaze on Lin Ruoqiao.
Lin Ruoqiao's face turned pale. "This guy looked at my thigh and then stared at me like this; he must have taken a liking to me. I'm doomed; I've fallen into someone else's hands. Am I not just a plaything now? No way, even if I end up in jail, I won't let this guy succeed. Wait, there's another one over there; could this be..."
Bai Yujing, of course, did not understand the internal struggle happening in Lin Ruoqiao's mind at that moment. His attention was solely focused on the blue mark, realizing that he had found another person with such a mark. What did this mark represent?

Bai Yujing and Li Hao waited outside the Auto Repair Shop. Before long, several police cars arrived. Bai Yujing wasn't foolish; he wouldn't negotiate with those who stole cars and modified them for sale—he called the police directly.
"Hello, did you report the incident?" A young police officer in his thirties got out of the car and glanced at Bai Yujing and Li Hao.
Bai Yujing nodded and took out his business card, which was made with help from Rihsi Publishing House. He hadn't expected to use it: "I am a Traveler and a writer. Our car was stolen yesterday, but today we found it here."
Li Hao followed behind Bai Yujing and presented his own business card: "I am the General Manager of Vortex Group; here is my card."
The officer looked at Bai Yujing's card and felt a headache coming on. Public figures were always the most troublesome; if things weren't handled well, it could become very complicated. Moreover, these two looked like rich second-generation individuals out having fun—definitely not someone to offend. The leading officer waved his hand: "You two, come with me to take a look."
After entering with the officer, Bai Yujing soon retrieved his car. The manager of the Auto Repair Shop apologized profusely to Bai Yujing, explaining that it was a car entrusted for repair by someone else. His staff had failed to verify the paperwork before accepting the car back and repeatedly offered cigarettes to Bai Yujing and Li Hao while expressing apologies.
This encounter was completely different from what Bai Yujing had imagined; however, he was still quite happy to get his car back easily. After completing some procedures at the police station, Bai Yujing and Li Hao drove out in their car.
Driving along, Bai Yujing and Li Hao headed straight for a restaurant where they found Lin Ruoqiao in a private room feasting on a table full of dishes.
"Sure, are you treating us to dinner because you struck it rich?" Bai Yujing sat down and looked at Lin Ruoqiao, feeling much happier now that the car had been found. She also found Lin Ruoqiao a bit more pleasing to the eye.
Lin Ruoqiao shot a fierce glare at Bai Yujing. "What do you mean I'm treating? You all are treating me! I’ve lost a fortune this time; all the money for the car was taken back, and I even had to compensate for someone else's losses."
Bai Yujing was taken aback, thinking that Lin Ruoqiao had gotten the money for the car for free. She didn't expect it to be like this. "You really gave it back just like that?"
Lin Ruoqiao snorted coldly. "Of course! Otherwise, those people would have made my life miserable. I can't afford to offend them."
Li Hao, sitting nearby, tried to ease the tension. "Alright, alright, Old Bai, I'll treat this meal. Now that the matter is resolved, we can consider ourselves friends after this little misunderstanding."
"I'm Lin Ruoqiao," she said, stretching her legs onto the chair without any regard for her image.
"I'm Bai Yujing!"
"I'm Li Hao!"
At that moment, a waiter came in with several dishes. "These are our local specialties and the signature dish of this restaurant, Azure Step Duck. Everyone can give it a try. If you need anything, just call us."
Having worked hard all morning, Bai Yujing felt her stomach growling and began to eat heartily. The atmosphere at the table became more relaxed as Bai Yujing shared her stories while Li Hao told some jokes, making it seem as if nothing unpleasant had happened before.
Suddenly, Bai Yujing glanced at Lin Ruoqiao's ankle and noticed that the mark she had seen earlier was gone. What on earth was going on?
