Bai Yujing climbed out of bed, feeling sore all over. After returning from Guilin, Bai Yujing had used forty points to undergo a body shape adjustment. "This creature really doesn't behave like an ordinary animal!" Bai Yujing thought as he watched Dudu swagger out.
For breakfast, he fried an egg for himself along with bacon and porridge, then set it on the table. Totoro sat beside him at a small dining table specially made for her, sitting on a wooden stump.
"This is yours: an apple and a banana!" Bai Yujing placed both items on Dudu's table, and they began to eat together.
"Ding dong!" The doorbell rang. Bai Yujing glanced outside and saw Li Xinyan standing outside the community gate. Suddenly remembering that he had promised to give her something but had forgotten due to being lazy at home these past few days.
Oh no! She must have come here to cause trouble now. Bai Yujing hesitated but couldn’t refuse her entry; he pressed the button and saw the security guard let her in without hesitation. He quickly returned to his room to grab the box he had prepared earlier and ran back outside to open the door.
Sure enough, he saw Li Xinyan's car slowly approaching from afar before she angrily got out of the vehicle. Bai Yujing stepped forward immediately, "Xinyan! What brings you here? I was just about to deliver your things today."

Li Xinyan walked in wearing high heels, swaying her hips as she entered. Upon seeing Totoro munching on an apple at the table, she stopped in her tracks: "What kind of animal is this?"
Turning her head towards Bai Yujing, he knew that unlike Lin Ruoqiao's overflowing affection for cute animals, this was purely professional curiosity—after all, she was studying biology.
"There's nothing, just a cat!" Bai Yujing immediately regretted it. If she had known, she would have hidden Dudu; this woman was quite ruthless.

"You've already told your aunt?" Bai Yujing knew Li Xinyan's aunt, Li Jie, and knew that Li Xinyan admired her greatly. Many of her choices, including her decision to pursue life sciences, were influenced by her aunt.
Li Xinyan nodded naturally, "Of course. I’ll be heading to London soon, and after that, we might not see each other very often!"

Bai Yujing placed it in the corner of the living room. Dudu seemed to like it very much; Bai Yujing put a cushion inside, and Dudu immediately lay down inside it. There was also a pull switch that could turn the light inside the tree hole on and off.
