It seems that the collapse of the Giant Buddha triggered some mechanism, causing the Sea Eye, which had been blocked and suppressed at the bottom, to suddenly lose pressure. The massive foundation of the Temple began to gradually collapse as monstrous humanoid creatures continuously emerged from various holes in the ground. Below, it turned out to be their lair.

At this moment, a large number of monsters had already squeezed into the main hall. The cracks on the floor multiplied rapidly, and it even began to collapse directly as a massive amount of seawater surged in, turning the bottom into a vast ocean.

Before he could finish speaking, one of the monsters seemed disgusted by his voice and immediately acted, smashing Yuki Keisuke's head off. The head flew through the air in a long arc like a ball and landed in front of Bai Yujing, giving off a feeling of dying with eyes wide open.
Bai Yujing casually took the pendant from Yuki Keisuke's neck; now it had returned to its rightful owner. Seeing that Bai Yujing and his group were seemingly unaffected by the monsters' attacks, the few remaining survivors gathered around and rushed out behind Bai Yujing.
Bai Yujing coldly glanced at these people but ultimately allowed them to follow without driving them away.
Outside, a large number of monsters watched as the group emerged. Bai Yujing looked around; there must be hundreds of them. The group slowly crossed the suspension bridge and finally left the monster lair located at the Temple.
At this moment, it seemed that the Sea Eye below could no longer be contained. Huge water waves shot up directly to the cave's ceiling, flipping over the entire structure. Massive tides surged in all directions as if heavy rain were falling from the sky.
Once they reached this point, no one said anything; everyone dispersed without a word. Most who escaped were Zhou You's group—Zhou You, Tong Wei, a young boy and a woman survived along with three Neon People. Tong Wei and the three Neon People were lucky, while Bai Yujing noticed clearly that the seventeen or eighteen-year-old boy had remarkable skills, having taken down three monsters with his dagger.
As Tong Wei passed by Bai Yujing, he nodded and said, "Thank you!"
As soon as the group emerged, they immediately split up. The three individuals ran quickly, disappearing in the blink of an eye. Bai Yujing held onto Li Hao and Amiya Miri, preventing them from running too fast. Most of their equipment had been left behind, and now they had no flashlights or torches. They were only using their phones to light the way, and the battery was already low, likely not lasting much longer.
Seeing that the three had already vanished, Li Hao said, "The water is about to rush in from behind! We need to hurry! Why are you holding us back?"
Bai Yujing pointed at the rising water beneath their feet, which was getting higher and higher, continuously surging upward. It had been less than a minute, and it was getting faster. In front of them at Sea Eye, large waves were already forming: "There's no time! Going back the way we came is definitely a dead end, and there are plenty of monsters over there. The swift current made it feel like they were riding on a high-speed train as they quickly passed through the narrow passage. Just when Bai Yujing felt he could no longer hold his breath, they finally burst out into a wide-open space.
The three hurriedly swam up to the surface. Before long, they floated on the ocean's surface. Bai Yujing coughed up some water while Amiya Miri appeared to be unconscious.
It was deep night outside; countless stars reflected on the sea, and the moon hung high in the sky. The whole world was breathtakingly beautiful. Bai Yujing looked around and felt as if he were in another world.
He touched the crystal ball and pendant in his pocket; this trip had not been in vain!
