“Catherine, you don't need to do anything this time; just the two of us will be enough!” Short Man put down the small hot air gun in his hand and stopped fiddling with a certain device.
Catherine twirled the gun in her hand, still wearing a smile: “Are you sure? The opponent might be harder to deal with than you think!”
Short Man scoffed: “How could an untrained person possibly be a match for me and Kate? Besides, we have the upper hand; just wait for our victorious return!”
Catherine nodded and pointed the gun at Short Man: “What are you doing? Hurry up and put the gun down!”
Short Man immediately raised his hands: “Catherine, what are you doing? Put the gun down!”
Catherine chuckled: “There are no bullets, so what are you afraid of?”
“Never point a gun at your own people, understand? Catherine!” Short Man looked very angry.
Catherine shrugged it off and jumped out of the window. “I think the orders from above are problematic. We could wait for the target to yield results before making a move; it would save us a lot of trouble. Isn’t it too hasty right now?”
Short Man replied, “This is what I suggested to them. This is the best opportunity; if we let those people from the Special Affairs Bureau get it back, it would be very troublesome for us to act again. Keeping the item in our hands is the safest thing to do!”
Catherine didn’t respond but curled her lip slightly, as if she looked down on this Short Man.

Bai Yujing sat in Li Hao's home in Nanning, next to a loud singing voice that nearly deafened her.
“I don’t care about your feelings!”
“Oh oh oh oh oh oh!”
“I don’t care about your feelings!”
“I don’t want to be influenced by anyone!”
This was Lin Ruoqiao, who had dragged her friend back from somewhere, heavily made up like a typical little gangster. Lin Ruoqiao had kept her originally short hair long; now she had short hair like a boy, singing loudly in Li Hao's living room, with the home theater volume turned up to maximum, holding a McLeod style microphone and lost in her own world.
“I don’t care about you…” Before Lin Ruoqiao could finish her line, she suddenly lost her voice. Turning around, she found that Bai Yujing had unplugged the power cord.
Lin Ruoqiao’s friend immediately became dissatisfied: “Who are you?”
Bai Yujing glanced at her without saying a word and directly looked at Lin Ruoqiao.
Lin Ruoqiao immediately pouted, "Why are you here again? Do you think this is your home? Coming over to disturb other people's private lives every few days, is that interesting?"

Li Hao immediately said, "This is Qin Lawyer. I invited him to discuss some matters regarding your equity issues. Besides your share, there's also one from Meili."
Bai Yujing nodded, "Hello, Qin Lawyer!"
Qin Lawyer nodded back, "No problem. I'll explain a few things to you..."
After listening quietly, Bai Yujing picked up the contract to check it over. Confirming there were no issues, she signed it and said to Li Hao, "So this is why you called me over so mysteriously? I thought it was something else!"
Li Hao quickly replied, "This is very important! If you don't take it seriously, I'll remember it forever!"
Then Li Hao took out a Resort planning map from his briefcase and showed it to Bai Yujing. To be honest, it looked quite impressive.
The planning map included facilities like a parent-child amusement park, children's playground, tennis courts, hot spring spa area, and a central square. Additionally, there were lakeside clubs, a Five-Star Hotel, a Villa Area, wellness centers, as well as seaside beaches and various restaurants of all sizes. There were also several attractions already under construction like the South Sea Guanyin Temple.
"Wow, such a large plan!" Bai Yujing never expected it would cover such a vast area; it was equivalent to a high-end community filled with various recreational facilities. Coupled with the unique attractions in the Shuiyuan Village area and government-supported projects, this was indeed quite significant.
Bai Yujing said, "I haven't done anything and I'm getting this many shares?"
Li Hao quickly responded, "Don't feel embarrassed about it; I haven't invested much money into this project either. Most of it came from funds extracted from Golden Buddha. Without that support, I wouldn't have been able to pull off such a large project!"
"You really mortgaged that Golden Buddha? Can the bank even agree to that?" Bai Yujing recalled what Li Hao had mentioned before and was surprised he actually went through with it.
Li Hao nodded, "Of course! With such a large project, the local government is eager to help me out. This will solve many employment issues and boost the local economy. The Resort is part of the green industry; how could they disagree?"
After thinking about it for a moment, Bai Yujing realized he was right. Meanwhile, Lin Ruoqiao's friend was stunned by their discussion of hundreds of millions and didn't dare to interject. However, Lin Ruoqiao, unfazed by their conversation, remarked disdainfully at the two men: "Two capitalists; sooner or later you'll be taken down by land reform!"
Bai Yujing immediately said, "You know about this too?"
Lin Ruoqiao replied proudly, "Don't underestimate me; I'm a top student, you know? I ranked first in the whole school. Besides, I have a project in this year's provincial science and technology exhibition student competition, and I won first prize! The school has recognized me as an outstanding student, and I bring home piles of certificates every year!"
Bai Yujing felt despair at the thought that someone like Lin Ruoqiao, who seemed carefree and often got into trouble instead of studying, could be recognized as an outstanding student. It was so unfair. However, Lin Ruoqiao paid no attention to Bai Yujing's grievances. "Bro, can I borrow your car for a bit? No problem, right?"
"No way! Once you turn eighteen and get your driver's license, I'll buy you a car. You can choose whatever you want! But not now!" Li Hao stood firm on his principles.
Bai Yujing laughed heartily, "I suggest you buy her a bulletproof car; that would be safer!"
"Whatever!"
After returning from Li Hao's house, Bai Yujing immediately received a call from Qian Jia: "You said you found the location?"
Bai Yujing quickly clarified, "It's not that I've found the location; it's that I've figured out how to find it. But I still need your help. Have you found the expert I asked you to look for?"
Qian Jia responded promptly, "I'm already preparing to fly over. I've brought the expert with me too, Astronomy Professor. Bai Yujing, remember to be very careful before I arrive. You're extremely crucial and important. I'm sure you're not the only one being watched now. Not a word about Center can leak out. Just stay in the hotel and wait for me to get there!"
Bai Yujing felt a surge of seriousness: "I understand. I've been very cautious; I'm always alert. My belongings are never out of my sight, and all the clues are in my mind—nothing has been written down or shared with anyone."
"That's good to hear. I'll arrive in two hours!"
