Emma finished her shower, swaying in front of Bai Yujing in just her sleepwear top, her chest prominently displayed and slightly revealing. As she bent over and turned around, her peach-shaped hips became visible, causing Bai Yujing to swallow hard.
"Are you trying to tempt me?" Bai Yujing said, staring at Emma.
Emma lay on the bed, her long, fair legs crossed, resting her chin on her hands. "What do you think?"
At this point, Bai Yujing could no longer hold back and immediately lunged at her, only to be stopped by Emma's foot pressing against his chest. "You haven't showered yet!"
"Oh! No!"
Bai Yujing eagerly rinsed off the foam from his body, the sound of water splashing in the bathroom echoed. Suddenly, a flash of insight struck him: "Is it him? It’s actually him!"
Bai Yujing finally remembered who Shen Fei was. They had hardly met before, only having seen each other back in Shuiyuan Village. Now that so much time had passed, Bai Yujing couldn't recall exactly who Shen Fei was.
Thinking back, he realized it was the person he had met in Shuiyuan Village. Bai Yujing vaguely remembered that he seemed to be called Ma Dong or Maxi. The change was too drastic; back then, he had been a fair-skinned and refined businessman with an elite image. Now he looked so different—dark, dry, and thin. No wonder Bai Yujing didn't recognize him; the transformation was more significant than expected!
"Are you done yet? Stop dawdling; I'm going to sleep!"
"I'm coming! Little Fairy actually dares to tease me; today you'll see my power!"
Bai Yujing pushed open the door and rushed out. "Today, Great Sage is going to take you down!"
The ship had been sailing on the sea for a day and a half. It set off the night before yesterday and finally arrived at the target sea area in the afternoon of the third day. Through constant communication with Jamie regarding changes from the meteorological monitoring station and satellite positioning, Bai Yujing and Bivis were aware that there had not been much change in this area over the past few days.
It seemed that once the hurricane expanded to a certain range, it stopped intensifying, and the entire hurricane cyclone showed no signs of movement, as if it were fixed in place by some magical force. During phone calls, Jamie could be heard shouting; he believed this was the work of a deity.
Initially, Bai Yujing was somewhat skeptical. After all, what era was this? The age of technology—what couldn't be accomplished? However, when they actually arrived at the target location, Bai Yujing's thoughts began to change.
"We can't go any further; the wind and waves are too strong! Continuing could lead to capsizing!"
"No way, we must retreat a distance; the wind here is too fierce!"
After arriving, the crew on board immediately began to argue. Bivis and the captain were in a heated dispute, but ultimately, the captain used his authority to suppress the will and opinions of the crew.
The storm raged on, with waves crashing against the over one hundred meter long vessel like a monstrous beast. A ship equivalent to a fifty-story building lay horizontally on the water, being tossed around like a bamboo raft in such waves—truly terrifying.
What was even more shocking was the scene before them. Bai Yujing saw a massive gray-black tornado howling over the sea. The hurricane continuously drew seawater upwards into the sky; as it rose higher, the circle of the hurricane grew larger until the entire sky was obscured by this dark water vortex. The powerful winds pulled thousands of tons of seawater into the air, creating mist so dense that it darkened the sky.
The hurricane spiraled upward in heavy layers of seawater; everywhere one looked, nothing was visible except for this hurricane. Strangely enough, above the tornado were Clouds, seemingly absorbing moisture drawn up by the hurricane. The combination of Clouds, hurricanes, and seawater created a surreal scene.
This was simply divine power. Amidst nature's violent forces, anyone could feel their insignificance. In such a force akin to divine punishment, humanity could not resist even with current technology!
"My God, how did this form?" Bai Yujing never expected that reality would be like this. If he had known from the beginning that it would turn out this way, he wouldn't have been able to remain optimistic.
Bai Yujing understood that beneath Clouds, in the eye of the hurricane, lay what Lemuel Gulliver referred to as Cloud Hole. However, under such circumstances, how could they possibly penetrate through the hurricane's layers to enter into its eye?
A typical hurricane moves and gradually weakens during its journey, eventually dissipating. However, this hurricane is different; it seems almost like a man-made phenomenon. Watching the storm sweep across the sea, Bai Yujing couldn't help but feel a bit hesitant. Could he really find the entrance to Sky Island amidst such a hurricane? It seemed insurmountable.
Bai Yujing made his way to the deck, but the ship was swaying violently in the water. He could barely walk straight and had to lean against the wall to move forward. A large wave crashed over, forcing him to grab onto the railing as he was swept sideways.
"Come back! The captain said not to go on deck; it's too dangerous outside! We are about to retreat beyond the hurricane's influence!" a sailor shouted from behind. Bai Yujing stood on the deck for just a moment before being drenched by the rain, which pounded down on the deck with a deafening sound.
The howling of strong winds and tornadoes echoed throughout the sky. Facing it directly felt entirely different. After taking a deep look at it, Bai Yujing retreated from the deck.
When he returned to the lounge below deck, Bivis had also come back. "Mr. Bai, we may need to change our plans. I have already agreed with the captain's suggestion to retreat beyond the hurricane's influence to ensure everyone's safety. We need to think of other ways; under these circumstances, not even an airplane can approach, let alone a ship!"
Bai Yujing finally snapped back to reality from nature's overwhelming power. He looked at Bivis and nodded in understanding. "I understand; there's no other choice. Let's retreat to a safe area. The hurricane has only just stabilized here, and we should have at least a few days to prepare!"
"However!" Bai Yujing paused, looking at the massive Sea Tornado connecting heaven and earth outside. He suddenly found it hard to speak confidently.
At that moment, another tsunami hit, causing both Bai Yujing and Bivis to lean sideways and crash heavily against the wall. After a while, they regained their composure and steadied themselves.
Bivis nodded. "Alright, let's return to our rooms for now. Once we retreat to a safe zone, all of us planning to land on Sky Island should gather in the restaurant for a small meeting to discuss our next actions!"
