The Farewell Banquet lasted for a day and a night in a luxurious castle, attended by many leaders from various Fairy Tribes and officials from Fairy City. Bai Yujing and others enjoyed numerous specialty dishes and drinks from the Fairy Clan, as well as unique theatrical performances and acrobatics. One of the plays was called "Oath of the Fairy," which told the story of Lake Fairy Lily.
Many Fairy Clan members present were deeply moved, shedding tears as fireworks and lights illuminated the night. A large number of Brats from Fairy City rode flying brooms, chasing each other, creating a beautiful scene that remained etched in Bai Yujing's heart.
However, it was time to leave. The next morning, Bai Yujing and the others packed their belongings and prepared to set off. As dawn broke, Bai Yujing got up early to wake up Emma, who had partied late into the night, and the heavily intoxicated Will Hackman.
"Why are we leaving so early? Can't we wait a bit?" Emma yawned.
Will Hackman also appeared drowsy, still groggy from the alcohol.
After packing everything up, Bai Yujing slung her bag over her shoulder and pulled Emma out of the inn. "We need to set off first to avoid Bivis and his group. I feel like they are planning something. We should open the passage to the human world first and move ahead of them. This way, even if they have any schemes, they won't be able to execute them!"
Bai Yujing led Emma and Hackman to the square, where they saw an airship waiting for them. Standing at the front was Ella, a fairy with pink hair. Although she was mischievous and a bit quirky, she got along well with Bai Yujing and the others, so she was there to see them off.
"Loran Supervisor wanted to come personally to send you off, but due to the revival of the Fountain of Life, he had to prepare for the repairs on the Island of Life, so he couldn't make it!" Ella said to Bai Yujing.
Bai Yujing nodded, "I'm already embarrassed that you came to see me off!"
Emma followed behind Bai Yujing onto the ship and smiled at Ella, saying, "Thank you for the gift; I really like it!"
Last night, each of them received a gift. Emma received a Ruby Necklace, which looked incredibly valuable. Bai Yujing teased her that if she wore it out, she would need several bodyguards by her side; otherwise, it would surely be stolen.
The white pipe that Will Hackman was currently holding in his mouth was also a gift from the Fairy Clan. Inside the semi-transparent pipe flowed wisps of something resembling mist. Helena told Bai Yujing that this was called Cloudstone, a rare material that could only be found in the special stones of the Cloud Sea.
Not only was the stone precious, but its craftsmanship was also intricate, using micro-carving techniques. The entire pipe resembled a ship shape, which was quite interesting.
Of course, there was also a gift for Bai Yujing. They presented her with a cup that looked rustic and unassuming. Although it had a natural feel to it, it wasn't as exquisite or interesting as Hackman's item or as valuable as Emma's gemstone.
This cup was personally given to Bai Yujing by Loran. Initially, she didn't pay much attention to it; however, later on, when Loran mentioned that it was made from a Dragon Skull, she suddenly felt its weight in her hand.
Once all three boarded the ship, they arrived at the edge of Fairy Island by afternoon. Here, Bai Yujing took out a Magic Bean from her backpack and buried it in the soil. The black bean looked completely ordinary; honestly, even Bai Yujing wasn't sure if it would be useful.
After covering it with soil, she sighed and said, "I don't know if this will succeed; we'll just have to leave it to fate!"
Bai Yujing pointed the Holy Oak Staff at the ground and waited for a long time, but there was no movement. Emma anxiously said, "Shouldn't we pour some water?"
Bai Yujing thought for a moment, "The notes didn't say anything about watering, but we can give it a try!"
As soon as Bai Yujing finished speaking, he suddenly saw the ground beneath his feet bulging slightly. Immediately, a green sprout emerged from the soil. However, in an instant, Bai Yujing saw the Giant Vine expand quickly, growing to an astonishing size. Dozens or even hundreds of vines that required several people to encircle were intertwined and spread downward. Bai Yujing looked down toward the abyss and saw that the Giant Vine hung down into the depths, with no bottom in sight.
"Is this really the Magic Bean from Jack and the Beanstalk?" Upon witnessing this breathtaking scene, Bai Yujing had to admit that this thing was indeed just like the vine in legend that led directly to the castle of giants in the clouds.
Could it be that in ancient times, there was a human who obtained such a magical bean and climbed it all the way to the Sky Kingdom's Lilliput and Brobdingnag? Is that why this legend and fairy tale have been left for the world?
The massive vines formed circle after circle, resembling a Primeval Jungle. As Bai Yujing ventured inside, he saw that he was surrounded by dense vines that completely covered him.
After observing for a while, Bai Yujing said, "There shouldn't be any problems; it's thick enough and dense enough. However, we still need to be careful of slipping and falling. Let's tie ourselves together with ropes; everyone must pay attention to safety."
Once they were ready, Bai Yujing looked at Ella and said, "Hmm! I don't know what to say; I hope that after this, the Fairy Clan can become more prosperous. To be honest, I really like this race!"
"Is it because of me?" Ella said with a grin.
Bai Yujing felt awkward because Emma was behind him, her small hand exploring his waist. He could only change the subject: "Well then, goodbye!"
"Goodbye! I wish you a smooth journey back home!"
"Thank you for your blessing, but you can't leave yet!" Ella pouted and said to Bai Yujing.
Bai Yujing was taken aback: "Why not?"
"Because you haven't returned the Holy Oak Staff to us yet. Lily's mission has ended; we no longer need to maintain a passage to the human world!" Ella nodded at Bai Yujing.
