Just now, when Bai Yujing and Hank were fighting, Shen Fei aimed his gun at Bai Yujing and fired several shots, only to find that it had no effect at all. Shen Fei immediately removed the magazine and checked the bullets, discovering that all the gunpowder inside had been emptied.

Bivis forced a couple of laughs, then jumped down from the vine, grabbing another Giant Vine, slowly climbing down. After meeting up with Hank, he immediately said angrily: "We need to hurry and chase him! Shen Fei has betrayed us and taken the Fountain of Life. We must get it back!"
Bai Yujing quickly put away his gun and said to Huckman: "Get Emara up here!"
Bai Yujing started pulling the rope little by little. Emma had been pushed out towards the outside of the Giant Vine by Shen Fei, which led directly to an abyss with nothing but howling winds and no place to grab onto. Emma was completely suspended over the cliff.
So when Bai Yujing fired those few shots earlier, they were indeed real. He hadn't expected that the layers of vines would completely obstruct his view and allow Shen Fei to escape.
