Bai Yujing and Li Hao stood together inside the temple, offering incense to the massive Bodhisattva Golden Body statue. The enormous golden statue in the Main Hall appeared lifelike, seemingly radiating a gentle golden light. The air was filled with the scent of sandalwood and the sound of a ringing singing bowl, creating a melodious and pleasant atmosphere.
The chanting of monks intertwined within the temple, and the grandeur of the hall combined with the heavy ambiance gave a sense of pilgrimage. As Bai Yujing and Li Hao exited the temple, Bai Yujing smiled and said, "I didn't expect that two ordinary people like us would have such moments!"
Guanyin Temple was built on a mountain, with a long and majestic staircase leading down. Endless tourists climbed upwards, while below was a square bustling with numerous vendors and villagers. After a year, Bai Yujing returned to find that everything had changed; the original Shuiyuan Village had been transformed into a tourist attraction. Many ancient architectures in the nearby villages had been renovated and expanded into attractions, creating a tourism route centered around Shuiyuan Village and Nanhai Guanyin Temple.
Once they reached the bottom, they saw Li Hao's driver waiting nearby. After getting into the car, they took a quick tour around the village before heading to the Resort area. The once empty beach and mountainous region had now turned into vast developed areas and attractions.
Buildings had already been completed here, but many areas were still under construction. They could see several construction teams and vehicles busy at work: "The Hotel Cluster Area is expected to open next year, while the Folk Experience Zone and Sports Park have already been completed..."
Li Hao introduced the situation to Bai Yujing, who gained a general understanding. They sat in an already completed but not yet opened clubhouse to get an early experience.
"I just happened to be here for inspections when you arrived; if you come over in a couple of days, you won't find me!" Li Hao said as he raised a glass towards Bai Yujing.
Bai Yujing had other matters to attend to but came over because Li Hao was there. He was dragged along to see their shared business interests. After looking around, Bai Yujing asked, "This place isn't bad; what services do they offer?"
"You have the desire but lack the courage!" Li Hao laughed heartily.
Bai Yujing immediately felt challenged. After some playful banter, Bai Hao then asked, "You mentioned you wouldn't be here in a couple of days; what's going on?"
Li Hao replied promptly, "Things here are basically on track now. The company wants me to move to Magic City and set up headquarters there. It will be much more convenient for many things over there; I probably won't come here very often anymore since our business isn't just about the Resort project—there are many other projects expanding as well!"
Bai Yujing pointed at Li Hao: "Not bad; you've become quite the business elite! This is quite different from you a year ago—what progress! But it seems like you're working too hard!"
Li Hao shook his head and sighed, "There's no choice; that's how business works—if you don't advance, you fall behind. I want to take over my father's position, but it's not that easy. Not everyone can be as carefree as you, traveling around with just a backpack—it's truly enviable!"
Bai Yujing laughed heartily: "You envy me so much? Next year I have plans to travel around Tibet; are you coming?"
"Is it going to be another treasure hunt or adventure? I must tell you—I can't handle life-threatening activities anymore; my life is precious now!" Li Hao immediately questioned.
Bai Yujing waved his hand and said, "It's just a regular walk; there's not that much treasure and adventure for you to participate in!"
Li Hao shrugged, "If someone else said that, I would believe it. But you? I wouldn't believe it even if you beat me to death. Don't think I don't read the news. Antarctica in the first half of the year, the Arctic in the second half—you’re just running fast enough!"
"What Arctic? We're still far from the Arctic! Besides, the place we're going this time has nothing to do with the Arctic!"
Li Hao shook his head, "Anyway, you really are good at being a hands-off manager. You do nothing but play outside all day and still make money. By the way, you invested in 5% of Qoros Automotive Co., Ltd. last time. Guess how much it's worth now?"
"How much? I haven't been paying much attention lately. It seems like you changed the name; I heard you're launching a new concept car, but I haven't looked into it!" Bai Yujing asked curiously.
Li Hao looked at him with a disappointed expression, "Look at you! I don’t want to say this, but let me tell you, I’ve been working my ass off to take over. I've been busy for days without rest; it feels like you’ve taken all the benefits."
"You’re saying that as if I own 50% of the shares instead of just 5%. Of course, I'm going to be a hands-off manager," Bai Yujing scoffed at Li Hao's statement.
Li Hao was indeed very busy this time. After spending an afternoon with Bai Yujing, he received a bunch of phone calls urging him about other matters, so he had to part ways again: "Next time you come to Magic City to find me, I'll definitely make time to show you around properly. I'm really sorry we didn't even have time to eat together this time!"

"You don't lack anything; what can I give you?"

"Alright, let's do it this way. When that brat comes back, I'll give her the gift!"
The two of them went out together. Li Hao had another person drive Bai Yujing back to the hotel. At this time, it was still bright outside. Bai Yujing thought for a moment and decided to accomplish the goal of this trip to GX all at once today.
Bai Yujing had also brought Dudu along on this trip because she came specifically for Dudu's hometown. After spending a year running around outside, she had become somewhat estranged from Dudu. Having Dudu by her side was just right for getting familiar again and nurturing their relationship, so that one day she wouldn't really be taken away by the ocean.
"Dudu, we're going to your house this time. If all goes well, we'll take your whole house with us. How about that?"

Dudu squinted his little eyes, not understanding. Bai Hao placed him in the passenger seat and immediately drove towards Bazhajian Valley.
