Death Grip
"Is this Star City?" At the Teleportation Array, a blinding light suddenly erupted, and soon two figures, a man and a woman, appeared. The young man was naturally Xing Chen, and beside him was a bright and charming Pink-Clad Girl, a maid chosen for him by Yun Qing, named Yuer.
"Young Master Chen, this is Star City, but Star City is not completely under the control of my Azure Cloud Gang. After the death of the former Helmsman of Starry Branch, the other two major forces in the city took the opportunity to seize a lot of Starry Branch's territory." The girl's voice was soft, and her appearance was obedient and cute, making her quite likable.

Inside Starry Branch, at this moment, the two Vice Leaders were filled with resentment. After the death of the Helmsman, a new one was elected within the gang. It would have been one thing if the new Helmsman had not taken over, but constantly moving them around like this would make anyone feel frustrated.
Now that they learned that the new Helmsman was finally coming, everyone naturally did not have good expressions. Even if he was the gang leader's disciple, he shouldn't treat people like this!
"Hmph, although this new Helmsman is the gang leader's disciple, he shouldn't toy with us like this! Isn't he treating us like monkeys?"

Back when he was at the Half-Step Soul Refinement Realm, he was able to slay someone at the Peak of Human Soul Realm. Now, he probably possesses strength that can rival the Earth Soul Realm," Chen Li said lightly, tapping his fingers on the armrest of his chair.
"Hmph, so what? Becoming the leader's disciple only shows that he is lucky to be favored by the leader. The fact that he could kill Zhou Ming at the Peak of Human Soul Realm was merely due to his high Martial Arts level. I don't believe he could defeat someone at that level without the Earth-Level Martial Arts taught by the leader," Ling scoffed, seemingly disdainful of Xing Chen.
"Regardless, he is still the leader's Closed-Door Disciple. On the surface, we cannot confront him directly, even if he does something wrong. We must maintain appearances," Chen Li said with his eyes slightly closed.
"Hmph!" Ling snorted, remaining silent. After all, this new Helmsman was indeed the leader's Closed-Door Disciple, making it inappropriate for them to openly challenge him. The ordinary disciples of the branch instinctively avoided meeting his cold eyes. The new Helmsman's gaze was too chilling and ruthless; it felt as if their very souls would freeze upon making eye contact. The only ones who did not avert their gaze were the two Vice Leaders.
"Hmph, impressive aura, but unfortunately his cultivation is a bit lacking," Ling thought with a sneer.
"Earth Soul Realm?" However, Chen Li did not linger on Xing Chen; instead, he paid more attention to the Pink-Clad Girl behind him. Although she appeared delicate, she was actually a powerful individual who had reached the Earth Soul Realm.
Upon realizing her strength, Chen Li couldn't help but feel secretly astonished. It seemed that the leader placed great importance on this new disciple; otherwise, he would not have sent a strong individual at the Earth Soul Realm to assist him in managing the branch.

The two Vice Leaders held differing opinions, while Xing Chen listened to their arguments in silence.
"Since both matters are so urgent, then you two Vice Leaders can each handle one of them," Xing Chen said coldly but with an undeniable authority. "As for that recent breakthrough individual from the Zhang Family at the Earth Soul Realm, I will deal with him personally."
"Helmsman, our Starry Branch simply does not have the capability to take action against both families simultaneously!" The two of them were taken aback at first and then responded.
"That's your business. I don't care what methods you use; these matters must be resolved within half a month." Xing Chen slightly closed his eyes and leaned back, saying, "Remember, I impose no restrictions on the methods you use, as long as the final result meets my expectations."
Xing Chen then stood up and left the hall, heading towards his residence at the branch, leaving behind two Vice Leaders who looked at each other with gloomy expressions.

"Yuer, have you found out about that so-called Zhang Family?" Xing Chen turned his gaze to Yuer and asked.
"It has been clarified." Yuer gently nodded and said, "Zhang Family's Zhang Yifan started cultivating at ten years old, reached Refining Body Ninth Level at fifteen, and attained Peak of Human Soul Realm at eighteen. He has just broken through to Earth Soul Realm recently, and he is only twenty years old now."
