"On the surface, this seems like a failed probe, but the camera's sudden malfunction at the end is rather suspicious," Ziyu thought. "So the value of this video lies in that final moment!"
"Zero, edit this video!" Ziyu commanded. The video on the screen immediately changed. A settings bar appeared below, featuring standard video editing functions such as layers, audio, and frames.
"Frame by frame, check that last moment when the white light fades—what exactly happened?" Ziyu wanted to clarify.
The image moved slowly, the sound was removed, leaving only a blank white screen that played frame by frame.
Generally, videos have over ten frames per second, with some even having more than twenty frames per second. This meticulous frame-by-frame playback was indeed extremely detailed.
"Could it be that I sensed it wrong?" After a while, the white light continued to diminish without any anomalies.
"This!" Ziyu suddenly froze the image, staring at it motionless.
"What is this thing? A special underwater creature? An alien lurking beneath the sea?" On the screen, a green light formed an arc, about to touch the camera's lens.
Ziyu advanced one frame and discovered that the arc of green light was quite strange; it seemed to be well-controlled. Behind the green light, in the white area, there was vaguely a shadow that could not be clearly identified but was certainly some kind of creature. The white light had not completely faded yet and remained hazy.
"It could be an unknown deep-sea creature or perhaps an alien base infiltrated long ago... But one thing is certain: this creature possesses intelligence! In other words, on Earth, intelligent life is not limited to humans!" Ziyu fell silent; this implied that humanity might face threats on some level...
"It seems that the organization here isn't trying to save the Earth after all..." Ziyu sneered and decided not to dwell on it further.
Ziyu closed this video and continued to the next file, which was a report document.
"A report on underwater biological activities?"
Records of activities in the Bermuda Sea date back to the sixteenth century when Columbus passed through Bermuda. He survived a storm there, and because of that, he made no significant discoveries.
Since then, there have been multiple reports of missing aircraft; however, these reports are sparse because everyone already knows about them.
On December 27, 1948, at 10:30 PM, a DC-3 large commercial aircraft took off from San Francisco Airport, flying over the Bermuda Sea. The ground control tower heard the captain's astonished voice: "What's going on? Everyone is singing Christmas carols!" No one expected the implications of that statement.
At 4:30 AM on the 28th, the aircraft lost contact after reporting its descent.
In the Bermuda Triangle area, several ships have gone missing and later reappeared, fully equipped with their belongings but devoid of any crew—no one at all! The ships contained fresh fruits, cargo, and even half-finished glasses of wine; only the people had vanished without a trace.
Reports speculated that some underwater creatures might be involved, capturing those individuals.
"Forget it... I won't look anymore..." Ziyu felt a chill behind him. This Outer Space was deserted and eerily quiet, combined with these bizarre ghost story-like events, creating just the right atmosphere...
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Zero, let's go back!" After some investigation, Ziyu was ready to leave.
Ziyu floated into the Docking Bay with a metal plate containing Zero. Since the metal had transformed into a Hard Drive to hold Zero, Ziyu could only float now. In fact, Ziyu was quite intrigued by this mode of movement.
"Hiss..." As Ziyu entered the spaceship and prepared everything, the Hatch opened, and the previously air-filled space instantly became a vacuum.
"Alright, returning home!" Ziyu looked at the blue planet below with excitement.
The spaceship immediately powered up, first orbiting around Earth while gradually lowering its trajectory to enter the atmosphere; otherwise, excessive speed would generate too much heat and could damage or even explode the ship!
"Sir?"
"What is it?" Ziyu asked.
"Up ahead, we can't detect anything..."
"Of course not; this is a vacuum! It would be troublesome if we detected something!" Ziyu laughed.
"Not ahead, the detection signal seems to have disappeared there, as if it was sucked in."
"Are you saying it's something like a black hole?" Ziyu asked. "If there were a black hole, Earth and the Space Station would have been destroyed long ago."
A black hole is an astronomical object with extremely high density, formed when a supermassive star collapses inward after an explosion. Although research on black holes is limited on Earth, theoretically, a black hole would radiate its gravitational pull in all directions, not just towards one.
"But the reality is indeed like this; sir, please be cautious."
Ziyu nodded. Caution is key for safe navigation, and Ziyu was currently piloting the spaceship.
"Boom!!" The spaceship shook violently, and then all the instruments suddenly malfunctioned! Moreover, the Power System also failed instantly!
"What happened? This... this is..." Ziyu was completely stunned.
Before him, Ziyu was heading towards a dark vortex, completely out of control. It wasn't just Ziyu's spaceship; there were dense streams of particles visible!
"A black hole here? How can it be seen? How could it not interfere with Earth and other celestial bodies?" Ziyu was confused and nearly terrified.
Looking back, Ziyu saw another vortex behind him, spewing particles outward.
"A black hole facing a White Hole?" Ziyu exclaimed in surprise. Is such a situation even possible? A black hole has infinite gravitational pull; even light cannot escape it. Our eyes see things based on reflected light, so theoretically, one cannot see a black hole, and objects at its edge appear distorted. Conversely, a White Hole has infinite repulsive force and possesses "dark energy," which is an energy opposite to all known forms of energy.
According to Gravitational Law, the closer one is to an object, the greater the gravitational pull. However, with a White Hole, the closer one gets, the greater the repulsive force! This is completely contrary to what we know! A White Hole has always been theoretical; no examples have been found until now when Ziyu encountered one.
The balance between the black hole and the White Hole resulted in no interference with the outside world; however, it was unfortunate that Ziyu had inadvertently drifted into their midst...
"The Power System is damaged... Defense system malfunctioning..." Alarms blared as high-speed particle streams penetrated the spaceship!
"I'm done... dead here..." Ziyu despaired while gazing at the beautiful nearby particle streams, calming down.
"At least I have accomplished many things that others have not, experiencing what others have never done..."
Ziyu's spaceship slowly deteriorated, not exploding, but rather collapsing quietly like a plastic bag being pierced by a pen tip.
Ziyu gazed at the gaping black hole before him, appreciating its presence.
"This is..." Ziyu immediately perked up, his eyes once again filled with disbelief!
There stood a figure, resembling a human, dressed in a Linen Robe, akin to ancient attire, and behind him was a sword!
The sword emitted waves that disturbed the nearby space. The figure stood at the edge of the black hole, watching the Particle Stream pass by without any interference.
Ziyu's spaceship finally collapsed, exposing Ziyu's body to the Particle Stream.
Just then, Ziyu reached the side of the figure in the Linen Robe and clearly saw his appearance. Ziyu's heart twitched, and his eyes widened in shock.
"You... you are..." Ziyu's consciousness faded as his body was disintegrated by the impact of the Particle Stream...
The figure extended a hand and grasped the Metal Plate containing Zero.
"Zero, I have returned... I have finally come back... You go with him!" the figure spoke to the Metal Plate.
He tapped his finger on the Metal Plate, and a flash of lightning appeared instantly. Zero's data merged with the current and surged toward Ziyu, who was on the verge of disintegration.
"Human thought is realized through brain waves; therefore, in a sense, the human soul is electromagnetic waves and truly exists... The brain is merely a decoder... The power of the black hole will propel your soul and Zero at superluminal speeds... From here on out, it's up to you!" the figure muttered to himself.
Ziyu's consciousness faded as Zero's lightning arrived, merging with Ziyu's "soul," accelerating faster and faster...
The figure remained completely unaffected by the black hole's White Hole interference and did not require oxygen; he would not explode due to blood pressure in a vacuum... He was simply divine!
The figure moved and floated towards the Space Station, skillfully tapping on the external keyboard on the surface of the Space Station. This was the keyboard used by personnel in Outer Space to input the Hatch password to return to the space station.
"What a familiar feeling... Zero..." the person smiled.
"Beep!" The Hatch opened and then closed as the person entered.
The figure in the Linen Robe walked back and forth, familiar in its movements, and arrived at the Computer.
He connected the Metal Plate to the computer and attached two wires to his own head.
"Begin separating my soul from Zero... copying..."
Soon, the Metal Plate was filled with data.
The Metal Plate vibrated slightly and then emitted a sound.
"Sir... are we back?"
[End of Chapter]
[PS: This chapter is about time and space~~~ It's regarding that figure in the Linen Robe... I wonder if everyone has guessed who he is... Haha.]
