"Sir, I think we need to take some data." Zero.
Indeed, once it's gone, it cannot be retrieved. The data stored in the Space Station Computer is extremely valuable. Ziyu speculates that even some countries do not possess as much data.
They have almost researched all the mysterious places in the world.
"Forget it, we can't eat anymore... Once we understand the organization's matters, we will naturally know everything." Ziyu shook his head.
That Mysterious Metal is limited after all. Once it becomes a Hard Drive, the remaining part can only undergo some simple changes. If more data is added, the transformations will likely be limited.
"The Return Capsule is over here..." Since there was nothing else to do and nothing of value for Ziyu at the Space Station, it was time to leave.
Ziyu had a meal at the Space Station. The modern food is vastly different from ancient food; even the taste varies greatly.
The simple compressed and dehydrated items on the Space Station made Ziyu crave Earth’s food.
Just like when he arrived, the metal transformed into a magnet, adhering to the "Ground." Ziyu was wrapped in metal, guided by Zero.
In this fully informationized world, Zero's functions are numerous, far more powerful than in ancient society.
"Whoosh..." Ziyu sat down in the Return Capsule, taking a deep breath.
Who could guess that for others, a moment for Ziyu had passed nearly twenty years? The current Ziyu is no longer the naive youth he once was; he thinks much more cautiously now.
"Return!" Ziyu finally issued the command to go back to Earth.
Ziyu looked down at the blue planet below, filled with emotions.
"I wonder which of the Time Fragments I saw are part of Earth's future..."
While in that blue space, Ziyu saw many Time Fragments, and he speculated that some of them were indeed visions of Earth's future.
Actually, Ziyu was wrong. Ziyu could not see the future of Earth, nor could Ziyu see the future related to him... including the future of people related to him.
Because the future develops in an unpredictable direction. If Ziyu saw the future and then deliberately chose not to act that way, what Ziyu saw at that time would no longer be the future. Therefore, Ziyu could not possibly see the future.
This is a paradox.
"Alright, avoid the black hole and return," Ziyu ordered.
That black hole was something Ziyu could only keep at a distance. The first time was a lucky superluminal crossing, but next time... Ziyu was uncertain. Moreover, regardless of the situation, Ziyu no longer wanted to play near that black hole, White Hole.
Ziyu's Return Capsule turned in another direction, sending out a zero-detection Signal far away to confirm everything was fine before starting the return journey.
"The organization must think I haven't returned yet and will take their ship when I do... I wonder if taking the Return Capsule will attract their attention... Although it's the organization's Space Station's Return Capsule, I hope it will still save some trouble."
Ziyu knew that no matter what, it would attract some countries' attention. However, that wasn't much of a concern; he could just throw away the Return Capsule and hide it. But the organization... Ziyu always felt that the organization was mysteriously frightening.
"Entering the atmosphere, outer shell reaching critical temperature, beginning to burn."
"First layer detaching, second layer starting to burn."
"Uh... is this playing with fire? Why is it burning layer by layer?" Ziyu didn't understand what was going on with this Return Capsule.
Generally, Return Capsules are made from high-temperature resistant materials to avoid such intense burning situations. Yet the organization's Return Capsule burned off layer by layer.
"Sir, although the ship's system report is normal, I feel something is off," Zero said. "I thought of a possibility..."
Ziyu twitched his mouth; he had also thought of a possibility.
The organization would send people into space to carry out some missions, but if they encountered that Computer at the Space Station, they would know too much... so the organization didn't want them to come back!!
This Return Capsule was meant for a suicidal crash!
"I can't believe this..." Ziyu cursed inwardly, wondering what the organization was doing and what they had gotten themselves into.
"High temperature warning... Communication System failure," the system reported.
"Sir, we have another plan..." Zero said.
"Alright, let's go with that. There's no other way," Ziyu replied.
Ziyu stood up, stabilizing himself in the shaking Return Capsule. Mysterious Metal quickly extended over his body, covering his arms, legs, and back.
Metal Block showed cracks and then formed into a cylindrical shape.
"Sir, this makeshift Thruster has limited power. Whether it will work depends on the situation... but one thing is certain: if we wait any longer, we will definitely die," Zero warned.
Zero allowed the metal to cover Ziyu's limbs and back, storing some energy so that when activated, the Ion Thrusters on his limbs and back could provide thrust to slow down as they approached the Ground, ensuring at least some safety for his life.
The Ion Thruster works by ionizing air particles and then accelerating those ions through an electric field to achieve thrust for deceleration or acceleration.
But how much energy could the metal possibly store in such a short time?
Through calculations, Zero determined that as long as Ziyu didn't fall onto the Ground, landing in the sea would pose no life-threatening danger; he would just sustain some injuries... even water could be deadly if one fell from a height.
"Sir, we need to jump out now. If the Return Capsule becomes unstable, it will explode."
"Understood," Ziyu responded.
The metal extended again, covering Ziyu's mouth and nose to ensure he could breathe normally.
Ziyu forcibly opened the Hatch of the Return Capsule. A strong airflow rushed through the entire capsule, instantly turning the interior into chaos.
"What a strong wind..." Ziyu observed as he saw visible cold currents rushing into the Return Capsule from outside, but he also caught glimpses of flames...
The shell of the Return Capsule was completely burned, but the special position of the Hatch was free from flames.
"Jump!" Ziyu gritted his teeth. He was about to die; what was there to be afraid of for the sake of survival?
Ziyu jumped out, and the flames from the Return Capsule immediately engulfed him. However, the contact time between Ziyu and the flames was very short, so he was not injured.
Ziyu did not activate any propulsion, nor did the Return Capsule, so both were essentially falling together in relative stillness.
"This won't do; the explosion will affect me too," Ziyu thought quickly.
Metal extended, twisting into a spiral shape. The air flowed along the grooves, generating thrust that pushed Ziyu away from the spacecraft.
Then the metal transformed again into a glider. Although the metallic quality wasn't great, it still had some effect in suppressing acceleration.
"Sir, below is the Pacific Ocean, but it's closer to China," Zero said.
"Alright, let's land there; no need to change."

[PS: Phew... I'm finally back; let the excitement begin again!]
