The princess leaned lightly against Ziyu, who held her tightly and flew towards the outside.
"Go to the Control Room; there’s a wormhole construction system there. Just take me directly to Earth’s Outer Space," the princess extended her hand, pointing in a direction. "Your battle armor must hold out for enough time."
"Well, killing them might be a bit of a problem, but delaying them is no issue. They won't be able to break through my Battle Armor's defenses," Ziyu said confidently.
Ziyu flew in the direction indicated by the princess and arrived at the Control Room, which was filled with complex control equipment. The numerous buttons made Ziyu's head ache just looking at them.
"I'll construct the wormhole; you just wait. By the way, if there’s any problem with your battle armor, make sure to tell me right away," the princess quickly ran to the spaceship's Control Panel and began pressing buttons one after another.
"What’s your name?" Ziyu suddenly asked.
Since Ziyu couldn’t help much at the moment, they decided to make small talk.
"Xia Yun," the princess replied. "It’s my Chinese name for Earth... Hehe, not bad, right?"
Ziyu's body trembled slightly at the name Xia Yun...
"That sounds great; let’s go with that," Ziyu smiled.
"By the way, I feel a sense of familiarity when I see you; I don’t know why," Xia Yun said.
"I feel it too..." Ziyu paused for a moment. "So what do they call you on your planet?"
"!@¥&" Xia Yun emitted a series of syllables that left Ziyu puzzled. "You don’t understand, right? At first, I didn’t know your language either; I learned it later."
"My system can quickly analyze Earth's languages and help me understand," Xia Yun continued. "Of course, for convenience in communication, there’s a Universal Language that everyone on different planets learns to facilitate interplanetary communication."
"Teach me later," Ziyu said with interest. Universal Language? With that, communication wouldn’t be a problem anywhere.
After pressing a series of buttons, Xia Yun finally completed the task. Outside the spaceship, a massive spatial vortex appeared at the front, and within the circular vortex was a blue planet.
The original design of the spaceship's wormhole system was meant for spatial movement, so the wormhole would appear outside.
"Alright, recall your battle armor; we’re going outside to enter the wormhole," Xia Yun relaxed. "When we’re close, remind me; after I give the command, the wormhole will close in five seconds."
Ziyu pulled Xia Yun outside the spaceship, standing on the side wing and gazing at the beautiful, swirling wormhole.
“Here we go, countdown five seconds,” Ziyu said.
Xia Yun pressed the button to close the wormhole and deleted the wormhole construction records from the spaceship.
“Let’s go.” Seeing the wormhole becoming unstable, Ziyu immediately grabbed Xia Yun and ran back, then jumped down.
A mech appeared just as Ziyu jumped down, catching the falling Ziyu and Xia Yun, then quickly surged toward the wormhole.
“Hurry, don’t let them escape!” A group of Guardians chased after them from behind.
With a whoosh, Ziyu and Xia Yun dove into the mech, which passed through the wormhole, and then the wormhole disappeared.
“Ah? What do we do? The hostages got away. Report to headquarters immediately!” The aliens chattered anxiously.
These aliens were not part of a regular army; their planet had already exhausted its resources.
~~~~~~~~~~~
On the other side of the starry sky, at the end of the wormhole, Earth’s Outer Space.
With a hiss, space trembled as a massive vortex appeared. Through the vortex, Ziyu and Xia Yun could be seen standing on the side wing of a spaceship.
The moment they jumped into the mech and entered the wormhole, they instantly appeared on this side of it.
“Wow, that was fast…” Ziyu looked down at Earth and swallowed hard.
“Hehe, what’s most powerful is that this wormhole construction technology can reach anywhere within a hundred thousand light-years in just a few seconds,” Xia Yun said with a smile to Ziyu.
Both of them were now sealed inside the mech.
“Let’s go check out our Earth,” Ziyu piloted the mech around Earth, searching for the area above Bermuda.
Space can be likened to a sheet of paper; if it takes ten seconds to walk from one end of the paper to the other, then folding the paper in half aligns the starting point with the endpoint, eliminating the need for time to reach it. This is the principle of a wormhole, folding space.
Ziyu adjusted the internal environment of the mech to be similar to that on Earth, while Xia Yun was still adapting, indicating that Xia Yun could also live on Earth. However, to be honest, this alien princess looked too much like a human.
"Our women all have this form, while the men differ greatly from Earthlings," Xia Yun explained to Ziyu about their planet.
Xia Yun was also very interested in Earth, but the reason she came here was to investigate what force was invading Earth. Moreover, she had already established communication with her planet, and reinforcements were on their way.
"My planet is not far from here; Signal will arrive in a few hours," Xia Yun told Ziyu while checking the latest news in space.
As a princess of a planet, Xia Yun had her own intelligence system similar to Zero's, but hers was more focused on entertaining her.
"A few hours?" Ziyu raised an eyebrow while piloting the mech.
Signal, even for Earth's electromagnetic communication, travels at the speed of light. If Xia Yun's communication also travels at light speed, then a few hours... seems quite far away...
However, Ziyu quickly realized that with wormhole technology capable of crossing light-years directly, this distance could indeed be disregarded.
"What a cool wormhole..." Xia Yun's eyes lit up as she looked at the surface of Earth. Ziyu's expression immediately turned very grim.
The Bermuda Region appeared quite large even from space; it encompassed a vast area of ocean surrounding Bermuda at its center, forming an enormous wormhole whose other end opened into endless starry skies.
The wormhole did not swallow up the seawater; instead, it expelled void-like substances outward, resembling a starry sky hidden beneath the ocean's surface—beautiful yet concealing infinite danger beneath that beauty.
"Let me check the origin point of this wormhole," Xia Yun began analyzing data regarding it.
Not long after.
"Alright, our planet is called Qutian Star (which can be understood as a transliteration), and this planet is called Ouyuxing. We are neighboring planets," Xia Yun said.
"Are you friendly?" Ziyu asked with some concern.
"Friendly? The closer we are, the more intense the competition for nearby cosmic space becomes... There have been countless open and covert struggles... However, generally speaking, we do communicate when necessary, which is not bad... Offending them isn't usually a big deal..."
Xia Yun smiled, "Do you know why they are attacking you? I still remember what they said about you."
"Ah? Did their planet talk about this with you?" Ziyu was surprised.
"Yes, during a diplomatic event, a few years ago," Xia Yun said with a smile. "You used to send out Signals into deep space, right?"
Ziyu nodded, acknowledging that they had done that before.
"There’s a country called this, right?" Xia Yun wrote down a string of English: ues of america.
"Yes, yes, what about it?" Ziyu looked at the English, which referred to America. "How do you know this?"
"Hehe..." Xia Yun chuckled mischievously. "The Signals sent by this country were converted into Universal Language..."
Ziyu also knew that the audio sent by America included a segment that was independent, and then based on what Xia Yun translated into her Universal Language database on the way back... he couldn't help but feel both amused and exasperated.
It was completely provocative language, filled with disdain and contempt...
"You guys from this not fully unified low-level planet provoked an entire planet..." Xia Yun's eyes sparkled with laughter.
