"Everyone be careful!" Ziyu shouted, turning around and rushing to the front. With a swift motion, he drew his sword from behind and blocked the attack of the unknown beast, forcing it back.
"Let's give it a try!" Emperor and Zero rushed ahead of Ziyu, with Emperor's Kallok Metal Sword ready in hand, prepared to strike.
"Awoo!" The beast was completely enraged by Ziyu and the others, charging at them once more in a frenzy.
Emperor's Kallok Metal Sword was heavy, striking hard against the beast's waist. He controlled the force and direction, flinging the beast towards Zero.
Zero pulled the beast closer, taking advantage of its momentary daze to raise his arm and spin his body!
"Swish..." A faint sound echoed as Zero's blade sliced through the beast from its neck to its waist.
"What is this thing?" The beast lay still. Ziyu stepped forward and kicked it, confirming it had no breath before feeling relieved.
"Probably a local specialty," Zero-Sum Emperor remarked. His Database had no information on such a creature. It resembled a wolf but also looked like a tiger... quite bizarre in appearance, with soft gray fur.
"If this thing is edible, how about we roast it?" Ziyu's eyes lit up. "I've heard that this kind of game meat is delicious when roasted."
"Forget it; let's just keep moving. This might be poisonous," Ziyu shook his head, suppressing his urge to eat.
"But speaking of which, Zero, you handle that blade quite well," Ziyu said with a smile.
Zero could perform agile assassinations with the blade, which adjusted itself according to his system, making it a perfect match for him.
Emperor was similar; his powerful processing capabilities allowed him to seize the right moment for effective attacks on targets.
As for Ziyu and Ye Ling, they relied on their own experience.

With a swift movement, he dashed toward the place where the Sword Tiger Beast was approaching, stirring up a cloud of dust.
As he ran, he brought his hands together, forming strange hand seals.
“Fireball Seal!” The old man rushed to the Sword Tiger Beast, leaped into the air, and shouted loudly. His hands formed a fireball, which split into two as he separated his hands.
In mid-air, the old man hurled one large fireball in each hand towards the Sword Tiger Beast.
“Ugh…” The Sword Tiger Beast reflected the image of the old man and the fireballs in its eyes, gradually showing a hint of fear, but it did not retreat.
“Roar!” The Sword Tiger Beast let out a roar towards the sky and immediately ran away, dodging the two fireballs.
As the roar faded, two more Sword Tiger Beasts emerged from behind a nearby boulder.
“Three…” Sweat began to bead on the old man's forehead.
No matter what, the old man was still an old man; he could not maintain a prolonged battle. Otherwise, he would have already killed these Sword Tiger Beasts that constantly harassed the villagers.
But now, three Sword Tiger Beasts had appeared.
The old man could no longer control the situation.
“Everyone hide!” he shouted, then turned to check that all the villagers were hidden before turning to leave.
The old man knew that continuing to engage with the Sword Tiger Beasts would ultimately lead to his defeat and death.
“Roar… Roar…” The first Sword Tiger Beast viciously stared at the old man's back, signaling for the other two Sword Tiger Beasts to follow him.
It seemed that this time, the Sword Tiger Beast was not there to harm others but specifically to take revenge on the old man for past injuries.
The three Sword Tiger Beasts crazily chased after the old man, moving slightly faster than him.
“Everyone stay hidden and don’t come out; I’ll draw these Sword Tiger Beasts away!” the old man shouted.
“Grandpa!” A child stepped out, looking in shock at the Sword Tiger Beast behind the old man.
"Are you really trying to chase my grandfather? Are you looking for death?" The child suddenly positioned himself between the old man and the Sword Tiger Beast.
"Run, kid!" The old man panicked immediately. If he died, it was just an old bone gone, but the child must not come to harm.
"Ugh..." The Sword Tiger Beast hesitated for a moment, then charged forward, aiming to pounce on the child.
"Bang..." A white beam of light struck the Sword Tiger Beast, sending it flying sideways.
The other two Sword Tiger Beasts also received powerful ranged attacks and retreated far back.
"Wait, you need to tell us where we are," a young man and a woman stepped forward, followed by two robots.
It was Ziyu and his group.
"Zero, Emperor, you each take one, and we'll take one together, okay?" Ziyu asked.
"Absolutely no problem."
"Alright, let's go!"
Ziyu quickly launched an attack, reaching in front of one Sword Tiger Beast. He swung the Kallok Metal Sword, causing the blade to tremble as it struck the Sword Tiger Beast, forcibly interrupting its planned attack.
Ye Ling also arrived beside Ziyu, wielding a spear that lifted the Sword Tiger Beast into the air.
Ziyu leaped into the air, slicing horizontally with his sword to deliver a heavy blow to the Sword Tiger Beast's body and sent it flying towards Ye Ling.
Ye Ling swept his spear, slamming the Sword Tiger Beast against a nearby tree. Then the spear detached from Ye Ling's grip, soaring through the air and piercing through the Sword Tiger Beast's head, pinning it to the tree.
Ziyu and Ye Ling turned to look at Zero and Ziyu, realizing they had already dealt with their opponents.
"Done! That was quick," Ziyu smiled as he approached the old man and child. "Are you alright?"
Ziyu thought it was a bit strange that an old man could run as fast as the Sword Tiger Beast, but he didn't ask any more questions.
"Don't worry, thank you, young brother," the old man said with a smile. "I am Liao Yangshu, the village chief of this small village, and I am a prospective Transcendent."
"Transcendent?" Ziyu felt a stir in his heart, but to gather more information, he refrained from asking further.
"From your appearance, you must have just come out to Experience not long ago. The two Puppets behind you suggest that you must have a very powerful Refiner at home," Liao Yangshu said. "You saved our lives by killing the Sword Tiger Beast that was causing trouble here. We are truly grateful. Why don't you stay here for a few more days? We would like to treat you well."
