Hearing the voice, Xiang Xueer leaped over the blood-colored river and saw that lying on the ground was actually Gu Liu Ma's corpse. The bloodstains on his chest had begun to dry up; his heart had been ripped out, and several crows were pecking at the decaying body nearby.
"It seems Serpent Empress has succeeded!" Xiang Xueer squatted down to examine the corpse; it appeared he had been dead for several days. This cunning Demoness made her stand up slowly, feeling increasingly anxious inside. Another member was lost from Saint Ten; originally ten people, now only half remained. This tough battle would indeed be difficult to fight.
Looking helplessly at the collapsed Demon Prison Tower as night approached, she realized dawn was almost upon them. Tomorrow night would be when Hexagram would be completed into a line, but what should they do now?
Ling Zhu was searching for traces left by the Demon Lord and Wolf King, having tracked them to a cave next to Sky Beyond Mountain. She furrowed her brow and wondered, "What's going on? How could these two scoundrels come here? Is there some kind of mechanism here?"
Saying this, she quickly hid nearby. After confirming that the Demon Lord had left the cave, she stealthily entered. This place used to be Gu Liu Ma's secret base.
