Hearing Yao Lizhen, Autumn Wind pretended to be innocent, blinking her eyes and pouting, "Sister, it's no problem at all!" 0

"That's disgusting! That expression! I'm serious! Are you free this weekend?" 0

"You’re not going to introduce me to a boyfriend again, are you?" Autumn Wind couldn't help but jump back a little. "I’m busy, I don’t have any time at all!!" 0

"Look at how scared you are! No, it’s not that! It’s my mom's birthday coming up, you see..." 0

As soon as she heard about the old lady, Autumn Wind immediately changed her expression: "The old lady's birthday? Then I’m free!" Autumn Wind saw Yao Lizhen looking at her with hopeful eyes in the mirror, but there was also a hint of mystery in her expression. "Don’t use the old lady as an excuse to trick me!" 0

Yao Lizhen sighed deeply. She put her hands on her hips and quickly opened each Toilet door. After checking that no one was inside, she whispered mysteriously, "You know the person who borrowed money from me ran away. The old lady has always wanted a platinum bag. I found someone to bring one for her. Sigh, with her personality, she will definitely sell the bag for cash. So, I’ll give you this bag as if it’s a gift from you to her. The old lady will definitely love it!" 0

Autumn Wind let out a low sigh from her throat: "You’re too nice! You can actually find someone to do this kind of thing! Doesn’t that mean my image in the old lady's eyes will go up rapidly!!" 0

Yao Lizhen raised an eyebrow at Autumn Wind: "Well, there’s no other way. You know how the old lady is—she cares about face but is stingy! Alright, enough of that. Hurry up and go out; if you don’t leave now, those handsome guys of yours will come looking for you!" She patted Autumn Wind on the shoulder and stepped out the door but then poked her head back in. "By the way, you really don’t have a boyfriend?" 0

Autumn Wind couldn’t help but roll her eyes at her: "You’re so annoying! No, I don’t!" 0

When Autumn Wind returned to the hall, it was empty except for two couples sitting intimately by the door and their table. Her seat was left outside while a guy with a Beijing Dialect, Liuliu, sat at the innermost position. 0

Thus, on either side of Autumn Wind, there were Qiu Mowen and jak. Leo sat across from Liuliu, winking at Autumn Wind. Before she could react, jak started serving food to her non-stop while Leo wore a mischievous smile. 0

Autumn Wind responded with "mm-hmm" and "uh-huh," but she couldn’t hear a sound from Qiu Mowen on her left. She distinctly felt her body splitting apart; the side near jak began to heat up while the side near Qiu Mowen felt icy cold. Her ears started buzzing, and occasionally glancing at Liuliu, her frozen body felt like it was struck by a hammer as blood began to flow out in large amounts without feeling any pain. 0

After dinner, Qiu Mowen got up first to pay the bill. She could hear Leo expressing his gratitude, but Autumn Wind couldn’t react at all; she kept taking deep breaths to ensure she remained calm. Yao Lizhen helped call for a car. After Qiu Mowen and Liuliu got into their car and left, the three of them squeezed into their own vehicle. 0

From the back window, Autumn Wind saw Qiu Mowen’s car slowly pass by theirs before parting ways. Sitting in Qiu Mowen’s car, Liuliu had a radiant smile on her face. As her previously numb body began to revive, thinking about how Qiu Mowen might take her back to his apartment made her heart finally feel the painful throb of bleeding. Unable to hold it in any longer, Autumn Wind finally cried out loud. 0

The Driver glanced back at Autumn Wind, and the Jak in the back screamed loudly, "areyuk?" 0

Leo, however, burst into laughter. He nodded at the driver and patted Jak, saying, "It's okay, it's okay!" 0

Autumn Wind covered her eyes with a tissue while sobbing, "Where are we going?" She slightly raised her head and noticed that the Driver was listening intently. 0

The three of them were a bit cramped in the back seat. Leo rested his arm on Autumn Wind's shoulder and said, "You go home; we're going for more fun!" 0

Autumn Wind looked out the window and realized they were heading towards Qiu Ruolan's house. "How did you know I lived here?" 0

Leo just smiled without answering. 0

The car came to a stop, and Autumn Wind waved goodbye to them before lowering her head and quickly rushing to the elevator. When she opened the door, Qiu Ruolan was practicing yoga. She glanced up at Autumn Wind but showed no reaction to her coming back so late. 0

Autumn Wind softly said, "I'm back," and went straight to her princess room. She took off her high heels that were almost crushing her feet and quickly changed into her beloved gray pajamas. 0

After a brief rest, thoughts of what might happen tonight between Qiu Mowen and Liuliu flooded Autumn Wind's mind. It felt as if her heart was being burned; all her emotions began to surge uncontrollably. She squatted by the bed, trying to suppress these feelings, but they only intensified until she cried again. 0

Qiu Ruolan's yoga music became increasingly soothing, reminiscent of playing by the river with Grandma in the countryside, gently flowing over her feet. Eventually, Autumn Wind lost interest in crying and felt increasingly ridiculous. 0

Autumn Wind thought she absolutely could not let Qiu Ruolan notice her emotions. She let her hair down and pretended to be nonchalant as she stepped out of her room. 0

Qiu Ruolan's eyes were slightly closed, illuminated by the moonlight as it cast down softly. Her movements were slow and graceful like a swan. 0

However, Autumn Wind's noisy phone rang at that moment, breaking the tranquility. Qiu Ruolan opened her eyes expressionlessly. Autumn Wind felt a bit flustered; she stumbled back into her room, but the call had stopped ringing. Besides the missed call, two messages from Leo appeared on the screen. The first one read: Ervin asked me to take you home. 0

The second item is an address: Beijing, Haidian, a string of numbers. These words quickly made Autumn Wind associate it with Qiu Mowen's address in the mainland. 0

Autumn Wind flipped her phone, her palm rubbing against the screen as she contemplated whether she should call back to ask for clarification, but the remaining bit of restraint forced her to put down the phone. 0

She returned to the living room, where Qiu Ruolan was leisurely pressing her feet. After thinking for a while without finding a topic to discuss, Autumn Wind shrugged helplessly. Just then, the doorbell rang, startling Autumn Wind as she looked at Qiu Ruolan. 0

Qiu Ruolan slightly raised her eyes to glance at Autumn Wind, showing no intention of getting up to answer the door. She lifted her chin slightly, indicating for Autumn Wind to go open it. Autumn Wind had never encountered a situation where someone rang the doorbell while Qiu Ruolan was home. 0

Feeling anxious, she slowly approached the visual screen... 0

To her surprise, the screen showed Qiu Mowen with a suitcase. Wasn't he supposed to be wrapped up in Liu Liu's tenderness? 0

Autumn Wind turned to look at Qiu Ruolan. "Is it Ervin? Did you invite him?" 0

Qiu Ruolan did not respond to Autumn Wind, her face expressionless as she continued with her yoga. After pressing the door open button, Qiu Mowen entered with the chill of the night. Autumn Wind stood dumbfounded at the door, watching him gently place his suitcase on the floor. He glanced at Qiu Ruolan, who was engrossed in her yoga, before turning his gaze to Autumn Wind. "Why didn't you join in?" His tone was light, almost inaudible. 0

Autumn Wind dared not meet Qiu Mowen's eyes; she lowered her gaze and focused on the first button on his shirt. As her eyes swept over him, she finally noticed something that excited her: there was a faint pink mark on Qiu Mowen's white shirt. In that instant, her mood began to lift because it was from when she had dripped ice cream from Haagen-Dazs onto his shirt. 0

Thus, Autumn Wind quickly concluded in her mind: he must not have changed clothes since being in the apartment (whether he had taken them off or not, she didn't know). 0

Autumn Wind realized this conclusion was superficial, but at that moment, she quickly convinced herself and couldn't help but smile slightly. She happily answered Qiu Mowen's question about why she wasn't practicing yoga: "I'm too stiff; I can't do it!" 0

Qiu Ruolan occupied a large space in the living room, so Qiu Mowen had no choice but to move around. "Have you eaten?" 0

His tone was strange, making Autumn Wind doubt whether he had really just sat with her at the hot pot restaurant. Didn't he know that she had just returned home too? Autumn Wind took a slight breath: "Leo came over; I went out to eat with him!" 0

“Leo! Is he back?” Qiu Mowen shrugged lightly, “He’s still at K, I guess!” 0

Autumn Wind suddenly fell silent, truly unable to understand where Qiu Mowen’s nonchalant tone was coming from. She couldn’t help but start to doubt whether she had just been dreaming. Was it not him that she saw at the hot pot restaurant? Then what did the things on his clothes represent? 0

Autumn Wind lowered her head and turned her back to Qiu Mowen. At that moment, the gentle music began to turn into something tear-inducing. Before the tears could fall, Autumn Wind found an excuse for her departure: “I should be fine! You sit first, I’m going to take a shower!” 0

Once in the bathroom, Autumn Wind quickly turned on the faucet. After filling the bathtub with water, she found herself lacking any patience for a bath. So, she picked up the showerhead and hurriedly rinsed off before changing her clothes. Outside, Qiu Ruolan turned off the music and started chatting with Qiu Mowen. Autumn Wind pressed against the door, trying to hear their conversation, but there was no sound at all. 0

Squatting behind the door, Autumn Wind rehearsed how to face Qiu Mowen again—silent, shy, expressionless. However, when Autumn Wind stepped out of the bathroom, there was no sign of Qiu Mowen in the living room; only Qiu Ruolan sat on the sofa waiting for Autumn Wind to finish her bath. 0

Autumn Wind tried to act as natural as possible: “Where’s Ervin Uncle?” 0

Qiu Ruolan stood up and swayed her body: “He’s asleep. He took a long flight and is tired!” 0

“Oh,” Autumn Wind replied. “I’ve prepared the water for you; you can just soak!” As soon as Autumn Wind finished speaking, she noticed a glimmer in Qiu Ruolan’s eyes. That look suddenly left Autumn Wind feeling powerless: “I didn’t give you any Aroma... um! I’ll go sleep now!” 0

But Qiu Ruolan quickly hid the brightness in her eyes and adopted a stern expression: “As a girl, don’t come back so late…” She paused for a moment, “By the way, send me Leo’s Number later…” 0

“Oh, I’ll send it to you via app!” After saying that, Autumn Wind swiftly returned to her room. 0
