"Are you really going to sell this shop?" Autumn Wind exclaimed softly.
"Yes... Do you think I'm joking?" Yu said as she tucked back the bangs that had fallen to her ears and began to explain.
Yu provided a plethora of reasons, and after sifting through them, Autumn Wind concluded that it was simply because Yu hadn't made much money and had grown tired of this lifestyle.
Autumn Wind then suggested, "Since you don't want to run the shop and aren't willing to help me find a job, why don't we go shopping together? We can also look around to see if any stores are hiring!"
Autumn Wind's suggestion was immediately met with agreement from Yu as she pushed the calculator forward. Without hesitation, she agreed.
However, Yu naturally ignored the part after Autumn Wind that said, "By the way, help her look for a job," and was simply shopping.
In fact, rather than her accompanying Autumn Wind, it would be more accurate to say that Autumn Wind was accompanying her. "This one, that one, and I don't want this one; wrap up the rest for me!" This phrase is often used humorously to describe a spendthrift girl shopping, and it perfectly captures Yu's shopping style.
Meanwhile, Autumn Wind stood by, persistently advising her, "You shouldn't be so extravagant!"

As they passed by a lingerie store, Yu glanced at the decorations inside and then mischievously giggled at Autumn Wind.
"What are you laughing at... Why are you looking at me with such strange eyes? I don't need those things..." Autumn Wind noticed the oddity in Yu's gaze, her face slightly flushed as she turned away from the store.
"Me being strange? What do I have? You're just overthinking it. Does this kind of store only make you think of that kind of stuff? I just saw their promotional flyer; they have new sanitary pads in stock. The reviews are quite good..." Seeing Autumn Wind shyly react, Yu teased.
Then she pulled Autumn Wind toward the store.

"Ah..." Fish exclaimed dramatically.
"Shh... keep your voice down..." Autumn Wind panicked. She reached out to cover Fish's mouth, but her hand was pinned down by the merchandise covered in Fish's blood, leaving her flailing in the air like an octopus.
Fish's next actions were completely out of control. She dashed into a sex shop, grabbed a Pregnancy Test, and shoved it into Autumn Wind's hands. "Quick... try this..."
"This..." Autumn Wind's pale face flushed again as she pushed back, saying, "What are you doing? This is a public place..."
"So what if it's a public place... Just take it!"
"This..."
If Fish was Autumn Wind's "friend," then Qiu Feng was Autumn Wind's "best friend."
The biggest difference between the two was that Autumn Wind's "best friend" would never loudly remind her to buy a Pregnancy Test in public.
However, Autumn Wind's "friend" completely ignored the surrounding sales associates dressed in elegant attire and wearing indifferent expressions behind their sunglasses. Two bright red lines slowly appeared. In the cramped restroom space, Fish’s face was fully visible to Autumn Wind. Her mouth was wide open; if it weren't for Autumn Wind wanting to observe a bit longer, she might have ended up shoving the Pregnancy Test into Fish's mouth.
Fish squinted her eyes and stared intently at the red lines on the Pregnancy Test, as if examining the authenticity of a designer bag. Before long, tears began to roll down her cheeks. She wrapped her arms around Autumn Wind's shoulders and patted her back, saying, "Congratulations, Autumn Wind! You're going to be a mom... I’m so happy for you!"
Autumn Wind's heart raced rapidly, and she couldn't help but tremble at the corners of her mouth. Looking into Fish’s tear-filled eyes, she found herself at a loss for how to respond to her congratulations.
"Isn't it hard to believe this good news... Hurry up and tell Liu Jian..." Yu looked at Autumn Wind, whose face was filled with shock, and smiled slightly.
She opened the bathroom door and bent down to pick up all the shopping items. A few beautiful women were touching up their makeup in front of the mirror. When they saw Yu carrying so many things and then turned to see Autumn Wind still inside, they smiled mischievously.
Yu ignored their reactions and shouted loudly, "Come on, let's go out..."
Autumn Wind said nothing, lowered her head, and quickly followed Yu. She held the Pregnancy Test in her hand, her mind blank, as if she had been suddenly emptied.
Yu walked straight toward the mall entrance, with Autumn Wind trailing closely behind her. But when they reached the door, they discovered that it had started to rain heavily outside.
Yu stood in front of the glass window, looked at her clothes, and sighed, "Ah, my dear..."
Autumn Wind stepped forward and stood beside Yu, blankly saying, "Yeah... It's raining..."
Noticing something off in Autumn Wind's tone, Yu sighed again, "Ah, are you scared... It's hard to believe, right? This is a good thing... Isn't it?"
Is it? Is it a good thing? Autumn Wind silently thought to herself as she couldn't help but touch her belly.
The rain on the glass window grew heavier, tapping against it with a "patter" sound like drumsticks hitting Autumn Wind's heart—light but increasingly heavy.
"Ah, I’ll go back and talk to the sales associate to see if they can deliver the goods to my home... It seems like the amount isn’t enough..." Yu began to worry about the treasures she had bought, murmuring to herself, "You wait here for me; I'll go communicate for a bit... I really don’t want my carefully selected items to get wet in the rain..."
"Okay... I'll wait for you here!" Autumn Wind replied softly while gazing at the rain outside the glass window.
Then Yu turned around to find the sales associate to discuss things. Autumn Wind remained standing in front of the glass window. At that moment, heavy rain poured outside, making the whole street appear hurried and blurred; nothing could be seen clearly.
The Pregnancy Test had been held tightly in Autumn Wind's hand, causing beads of sweat to form in her palm. She switched it from her left hand to her right but lacked the courage to look at it again.
After an unknown amount of time, the rain outside stopped, and the streets of Taipei once again became clear in the research of Autumn Wind.
At this moment, Autumn Wind's legs felt sore from standing. She sighed, bent down to rub them, and decided to take a break in the rest area.
She turned around, but before she could lift her head, someone suddenly bumped into her hard. The impact caused the Pregnancy Test she was holding to fly out of her hand.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." Before Autumn Wind could react, a deep, magnetic, hoarse voice came from nearby.
The collision was so forceful that tears immediately streamed down Autumn Wind's face. She rubbed her aching shoulder and glanced sideways. Through her tears, she saw a man in a black suit bending down to pick up the Pregnancy Test that had just flown away.
"Don't..." Autumn Wind put down her hand that was rubbing her shoulder and said sharply to stop him.
At that moment, the man had already picked up the Pregnancy Test. He seemed not to recognize what it was; instead, he turned to Autumn Wind and extended his hand, offering the Pregnancy Test to her. "Is this yours? It shouldn't be broken..."
"Yes..." Autumn Wind lifted her head and reached out to take the Pregnancy Test. But when she clearly saw the face in front of her, she instinctively pulled back.
This man was none other than Qiu Mowen—the eternal pain in Autumn Wind's heart.
