"Ah!" Sun Xiaoxiao screamed, jumping up and swinging the Silver Spear in her hand towards Ling Mo Xie, "Pervert! Pervert!"
Ling Mo Xie rolled his eyes, grabbing Sun Xiaoxiao's Silver Spear and leaning in to gently bite her ear, "Is this what you call a pervert? Do you know?"
After saying that, he released her Silver Spear and walked towards the ruins, "Ah, about that challenge or whatever, let's talk about it when I have time!" He then waved at Hong Chi, "Hong Chi! This ruin is too big; come help me look for any clues left by those black-clad people!"
Sun Xiaoxiao stood there in a daze, staring blankly at Ling Mo Xie as he rummaged through the ruins, a faint blush on her face. Really, how annoying!
"Oh! Got it!" Hong Chi, confused by how the previously fierce older sister suddenly quieted down, hurried over when he heard Ling Mo Xie calling him and began to help search as well.
Sun Xiaoxiao stood still for a while before regaining her composure and pretending to be indifferent as she asked, "What are you looking for?"
"Well, do you see these ruins? It used to be a residence of the Ling Family's branch that was destroyed. I'm looking for clues to see who did it," Ling Mo Xie replied absently while bending down to search.
"It's just a branch family; you don't need to get involved in this, do you?" Sun Xiaoxiao said, crossing her arms and walking through the ruins while kicking at the small stones on the ground.
Suddenly, she noticed something; when one of the small stones was kicked away, it flashed briefly.
Sun Xiaoxiao's eyes lit up as she crouched down and picked up the object. It turned out to be an earring made of some unknown material that seemed to be sealing something inside. When the stone was kicked away earlier, it reflected sunlight and caught her attention.
"Hey! Ling Mo Xie!" Sun Xiaoxiao called excitedly.
Ling Mo Xie had been searching for a long time without finding any clues and was feeling quite frustrated. Hearing Sun Xiaoxiao calling him again, he impatiently replied, "What do you want? I already said to talk about challenges later when I have time!"
Sun Xiaoxiao pouted in grievance. How ungrateful! Clutching the earring in her hand, she threw it at Ling Mo Xie with all her might, "Here! I just wanted to say I found a clue! Hmph!"
After saying that, she turned and ran off; within a few leaps, she had disappeared from sight.
Ling Mo Xie caught the earring that fell into his hand in a daze and recognized it as something Zhou Xinyi had worn since childhood. It seemed he had misunderstood that girl!
Ling Mo Xie was momentarily stunned, then hurriedly ran in the direction where Sun Xiaoxiao had left, cursing inwardly that this world of cultivation was terrible! A little girl could bounce away in just a few jumps; if it were on Earth, he would have caught up in just a few steps!

As Sun Xiaoxiao continued to curse, she stopped and looked back over her shoulder. Then she turned around and shook her head, wondering what was wrong with her.
Her mind was filled with thoughts of that person; it was just a harsh word spoken, yet she felt incredibly wronged. This wasn't like her usual self at all! Moreover, that earring looked like something a woman would wear; he must have come to deal with this because of that woman, right?
After all, matters concerning the side branch could easily be handled by sending a Zhou Butler from the Big Family; he was the legitimate Young Master!
"Ah!" Ling Mo Xie sighed in relief as he watched Sun Xiaoxiao walking ahead on the street. No matter how one looked at it, this matter was indeed his fault.
Suddenly feeling someone grab her hand, Sun Xiaoxiao screamed without even looking at the situation and immediately swung her fist at Ling Mo Xie.
Ling Mo Xie's mouth twitched; indeed, he shouldn't have thought about apologizing to such a crazy woman.

She shook off his hand gripping her arm and sarcastically said, "Oh, what do you want? Aren't you still unhappy with my cursing? Go ahead and curse me! Go ahead!"
Ling Mo Xie watched Sun Xiaoxiao swaying in front of him, challenging him to scold her. He couldn't help but chuckle and shook his head: "Alright, I admit I was wrong. I'm sorry. You helped me find a clue; how could I still scold you?"
Saying this, he laughed and rubbed Sun Xiaoxiao's head. Sun Xiaoxiao was taken aback, pausing for a moment. Could this guy actually apologize? She huffed awkwardly and turned away, "I, as a generous lady, won’t hold it against you!"
"Then thank you for your generosity, Miss Sun!" Ling Mo Xie said with a light laugh. "But I need to find the owner of this Earring. Is there any spell that can help me locate them?" Ling Mo Xie frowned as he looked at the Earring in his palm.
Sun Xiaoxiao's eyes lit up. "I can help you find them, but you have to compete with me first! Hmph! I want those gossiping people to know that I, Sun Xiaoxiao, am the rightful and unyielding Top of the Earth Ranking!"
Ling Mo Xie smiled. "Let's wait three days for that!" He thought to himself that by then, even if he didn't compete with her, she would still be the rightful Top of the Earth Ranking.
"Then it's settled!" Sun Xiaoxiao immediately jumped up, her eyes sparkling as she spoke to Ling Mo Xie.
However, in an instant, her mood soured again. Hmph! Previously, he refused to compete with her at all, but now he easily agreed just to have her help find a woman!
Ling Mo Xie didn’t notice what Sun Xiaoxiao was thinking. He placed the Earring in her hand and said, "I know there should be a spell that follows the owner's aura. Hurry up! Who knows how long they’ve been abducted!"
Sun Xiaoxiao awkwardly twisted her body, feeling quite displeased, but still shoved the Silver Spear into Ling Mo Xie's hands and began to cast the spell.
Before long, a butterfly formed from a mix of Zhou Xinyi's aura and magic flew out from the floating Earring. The Earring then fell down and was caught by Ling Mo Xie.
"Here, just follow it!" Sun Xiaoxiao took back the Silver Spear from Ling Mo Xie's hands and pointed her chin at the butterfly in front of them.
