Ling Mo Xie rolled his eyes and said, "Enough with the noise. The bet has already been accepted, and there's no changing that. Instead of arguing, we might as well prepare more."
Upon hearing Ling Mo Xie's words, Shangguan Ying'er thought for a moment. There was some truth to what Ling Mo Xie said; it would be better to prepare more!

However, Shangguan Ying'er meant well for him. He couldn't voice his reasons or refute her suggestion, so he could only nod helplessly and think to himself that he would deal with it later.
Hearing Shangguan Ying'er's arrangements, Sun Xiaoxiao pouted but didn't voice any objections because she understood that this was also for Ling Mo Xie's victory against Ning Qi.
"Alright, let's head into the city!" Seeing that Shangguan Ying'er was still going on with her plans and even seemed eager to schedule everything for Ling Mo Xie without wasting a moment, Ling Mo Xie quickly changed the subject.
Upon entering Tianfeng City, they each bid farewell. Ling Mo Xie, Ling Siwen, Bai Yunfei, and Sun Xiaoxiao returned to the Ling residence.
In Ling Mo Xie's small courtyard, he was preparing to return to his room to assess his gains from this main quest. Just as he entered the room, Bai Yunfei followed closely behind and sneakily closed the door.
"What's the matter? If you want me to let you go, you might as well not say anything," Ling Mo Xie said, sitting at the table and pouring a cup of tea from the teapot without even glancing at Bai Yunfei.
"Hehe!" Bai Yunfei chuckled slyly and said, "I know you won't let me go. I'm not here to talk about that. That Ning Qi just now was really arrogant, wasn't he?"
"So what?" Ling Mo Xie thought to himself, what does this kid mean? Is he trying to get me to confront Ning Qi so that he can escape while I'm preoccupied? It seems he hasn't realized the power of the system yet!
However, contrary to Ling Mo Xie's expectations, Bai Yunfei didn't say anything further. Instead, he approached the table and sneakily took out a Purple Gold Token, waving it in front of Ling Mo Xie.
The token was entirely purple gold in color, adorned with intricate patterns resembling herbal vines and flowers. The material of the token was indiscernible, but it emanated a heavy historical aura.
Ling Mo Xie frowned and took the token. It felt cool like jade in his hand, light as a feather, but when thrown up, it fell back into his hand like a stone, causing a slight sting.
After examining it for a while without figuring out what it was, Ling Mo Xie glanced sideways at Bai Yunfei. "You aren't trying to bribe me with this so I’ll let you go, are you?"
Bai Yunfei acted as if he had been defeated, snatching the token back and casually finding a chair to sit down. "Can you stop acting like everything I do is to escape? I've realized that as long as I don't give up on my dreams, there will be a day when I succeed. Whether I'm under your control or not doesn't really matter!"
"Alright then, what is this token?" Ling Mo Xie asked with some skepticism in his heart, though his expression remained indifferent as he feigned disinterest.
Bai Yunfei smiled proudly and said while holding the token, "I stole this from Cang Qian. How about that? Pretty Not Bad, right?" He raised his head in a manner that suggested he wanted praise for his achievement.
Ling Mo Xie's mouth twitched; he understood now that this guy claimed to want to be the greatest thief in history but was actually just like a child seeking recognition and the sense of accomplishment that comes with it.
"I didn't ask how you got it; I asked what this token is. But if you're not going to tell me, then forget it! Please leave; I need to rest!" Ling Mo Xie stood up and gestured for Bai Yunfei to leave.
In his heart, he couldn't help but chuckle. Just watch, this guy is acting like if you don't ask me, I won't say anything, but soon enough, he'll be eager to talk.
"Hey, hey, aren't you curious at all? This was stolen from Cang Qin! Even my master would have to put in a lot of effort to steal something from that guy!" Bai Yunfei quickly said.
"Well, it seems your skills are indeed impressive, worthy of praise!" Ling Mo Xie nodded, saying it dismissively while still gesturing for him to leave.
Seeing Ling Mo Xie's childlike dismissive expression, Bai Yunfei felt a wave of defeat. He looked at the token in his hand and said, "If I'm not mistaken, this is the token that Cang Qin used to bet with you—the Opening Token!"
"What?" Upon hearing Bai Yunfei's words, Ling Mo Xie's expression instantly changed to one of surprise. This kid is even more capable than I thought! When Cang Qin mentioned this bet, even Elder Feng considered it a significant wager, indicating that this Opening Token is no ordinary item!
Seeing Ling Mo Xie's astonished expression, Bai Yunfei couldn't help but laugh heartily and muttered, "I told you! My thieving skills have always amazed people! Haha!" After saying that, he intended to put the token into his storage ring and take his leave.
He came here to show off in front of Ling Mo Xie. After all, no one would feel good about suddenly becoming someone else's servant!
Bai Yunfei's revenge was simply seeing Ling Mo Xie upset; that made him happy!
Ling Mo Xie instinctively reached for the Opening Token in Bai Yunfei's hand. Bai Yunfei nimbly stepped back, holding the token high and laughing joyfully. "Haha! Take that for looking down on me!"
