The figure was unmistakably the Evil Path Saintess, given that they were on the territory of the Evil Ridge Sect.

While Hong Chi was puzzled and dazed in the great hall, Chen Yan also appeared, twisting its head to look around. It said to Hong Chi, "I see that everyone here has left. They either obtained treasures or lost hope of getting them. We should go out and gather some information."
Hong Chi, being just a child, didn't know what to do at first, but nodded in agreement upon hearing Chen Yan's words.
The pair stepped out of the great hall, and what lay before them was a scene of carnage. The ground was littered with corpses, a testament to the fierce battles that had taken place here.
