As she spoke, the Evil Path Saintess patted Ling Mo Xie's shoulder and pointed at the Daoist Sect Leader, saying, "Go!"
Ling Mo Xie shivered slightly and obeyed the Evil Path Saintess's command, attacking the Daoist Sect Leader with somewhat stiff movements.
"You!" The Daoist Sect Leader glared angrily at the Evil Path Saintess, dodging Ling Mo Xie's attack. Now that Ling Mo Xie's cultivation was already considerable and he was on the verge of ascension, even the Daoist Sect Leader did not dare to take his spell head-on. The golden sword ruthlessly stabbed down toward the now panicking Xu Qingfeng. Hong Chi and Bai Yunfei were stunned and shouted in unison, "Boss!"
At that moment, a surprised female voice also called out, "Mo Xie, stop!"
"Sister Xinyi?" Hong Chi looked toward the source of the voice with some surprise.
At this moment, Ling Mo Xie paused his actions; his consciousness wavered as memories flooded back to him—the day he had just crossed over and was severely injured by a kick amidst pouring rain, along with the warmth and fragrance that suddenly appeared in that downpour.
It was also at this time that a familiar mechanical voice echoed in Ling Mo Xie's mind: "Ding! System upgrade complete. More exciting features await your exploration."

Ling Mo Xie sneered and replied, "What did you expect? Hmph! I truly didn't anticipate that you would quietly lose your way."
The Evil Path Saintess's face turned ashen; the Heavenly Crystal Key was still in Ling Mo Xie's possession. Now that he had freed himself from her control, her situation had become extremely precarious. The Demon Tomb was not only a place where the Heavenly Demon Sect stored its treasures left in the Cultivation World, but it was also said to be a supreme treasure in itself, possessing immense power!

At this moment, Ling Mo Xie also rushed toward the Evil Path Saintess without any impatience to check what his System upgrade entailed. He was already at the Great Ascension stage and had further broken through to the late stage of Great Ascension while refining the Heavenly Crystal Key, thanks to its unique energy. He was now in a state where he could ascend at any moment, so he was not afraid of the Evil Path Saintess.
Although the Evil Path Saintess was flustered at this time, she let out a long howl and summoned her secretly crafted weapons—some Puppet Corpses. The Daoist Sect Leader was furious; among these individuals were not only those from the Righteous Path but also from the Evil Path, all of whom could be considered masters with at least Core Formation Stage cultivation. The sheer number of them made this an outrage against heaven!
"Die!" The Daoist Sect Leader stopped wasting words and flew directly toward the Evil Path Saintess. Channeling his Spiritual Energy, he unleashed a powerful Spell aimed at her.
The Evil Path Saintess had no choice but to confront the Daoist Sect Leader before her. They were both prodigies of their time and knew each other well enough. Soon enough, Ling Mo Xie and his companions realized what was happening: countless individuals from the Righteous Path and Evil Cultivators had stormed into the Evil Ridge Sect, engaging in a chaotic battle where everyone fought fiercely. Some shouted, "Eliminate Evil Cultivators!" while others yelled back, "Kill those hypocrites from the Righteous Path!"
"What... is going on?" Ling Mo Xie felt a bit dazed, as if it had turned into a battle between good and evil.
In fact, there were quite a few well-informed members of the Main Gate within the Righteous Path. Upon learning that the Daoist Sect Leader was heading to the Evil Ridge Sect, they immediately speculated whether the Daoist Sect Leader intended to take advantage of the absence of the Evil Ridge Sect Leader to eliminate the Evil Ridge Sect and suppress the Evil Path.
