My eyelids felt heavy, and it took a great effort to open them. 0

Surrounded by complete darkness, I realized I was lying on the ground, my head pounding painfully. 0

I struggled to lift my hand and touch my head; it was wet and sticky with blood. 0

I was in agony, every inch of my body ached, every bone seemed to groan. 0

Now was not the time for complaints; I needed to find a way out. 0

After a difficult struggle, I managed to sit up and began to cautiously feel around. Soon enough, I found a wall. 0

Enduring the sharp pain, I leaned against the wall and used all my strength to stand up. 0

I had always been afraid of the dark, but in this absolute darkness, I didn't even have time to feel fear. 0

There were too many unknowns for me to waste time being scared. 0

Tearing off a piece of fabric from my clothing, I wiped away the dried blood around my eyes, then tore off another piece to cover the wound on my head. 0

After doing all this, I started taking deep breaths, forcing myself to calm down. 0

Once again, I reached out my hand and began to feel my way forward in the darkness. 0

Suddenly, I kicked something. 0

It was soft and made a muffled sound when I kicked it. 0

I crouched down and felt it; it was my backpack. 0

A wave of joy washed over me as I hurriedly rummaged through it. 0

Thank goodness, I remembered where I had put my lighter. 0

With a click, the flickering flame illuminated a small area around me. 0

As I looked at my surroundings, my hand trembled, nearly dropping the lighter. 0

Although I was terrified, it wasn't enough to make me panic. 0

I bit my lip and steeled myself as I scanned the area with the light. 0

It appeared to be a tunnel with stone walls on either side, and lying on the ground was a humanoid figure. 0

What I had touched earlier must have been it. 0

The flames danced, illuminating a small area. Although it was still quite blurry, at least I could see something now. The passage was narrow, so narrow that I had straightened up, but the ceiling was getting lower and lower. If it dropped any further, I might have to crouch to move forward. 0

On the opposite wall was an iron door with a handle. A strange smell lingered in the air, reminiscent of mold, mixed with faint hints of decay. I frowned, thinking how bizarre this place was. Not wanting to dwell on it too much, I continued walking forward but soon kicked something. 0

This time, it was the sound of metal hitting the ground. I bent down and used my lighter to illuminate the floor, revealing an overturned candlestick lying there. I picked up the candlestick, blew off the dust on top, and brought it closer to my eyes. The surface of the candlestick was covered in a thick layer of dust, and the candle had burned down to just a tiny stub, nearly gone. 0

All signs indicated that someone had stayed here for quite a while—at least longer than I had. After putting down the candlestick, I took two more steps forward. The light from the lighter revealed some objects on the ground: a broken mirror, an old-fashioned watch, and a photograph. 0

These items reminded me of the "Ritual Three-piece Set" packed in my bag. Why were these three things here again? It seemed that someone had performed that ritual here. If that was the case, then this ritual was indeed real, and this place... might be more dangerous than I had imagined. 0

I picked up the photograph, blew off the dust on it, and brought it closer to my eyes. 0

In the photo, there is a man in a police uniform, with a row of steel stamp marks behind him. I frowned, somewhat confused about the purpose of these photos. However, since there is a Ritual Three-piece Set, it indicates that this place... 0
